Jeri Alexander's Come Hard is the first offering in her Silken series. The story of three friends managing to find love, lots of sex, and one would assume, some form of "happily...". While running an exclusive " sex club" bearing the same name.
The first.story of the three. (Yes. this is a trilogy.)
Is that of Morgan and Zack. Who meet after Morgan is called to hos more mainstream night spot Gloss. To retrieve her lost wallet after hours.
Of course, there is the instant "Oh my gawd, I just want to rip off his/her clothes and..." reaction being played out in the minds of both parties. But being demonstrated through innuendo, light touches, and flirting; on his part.
And hyper awareness and nonverbal cues on hers.
Then we proceed to the "let me introduce you to.my world" phase of the game.
Where a date for dinner turns into a stop at "the club".
She's intrigued and " hot and bothered."
And the story of Morgan's introduction to "life as the submissive of a billionaire lite" begins.
The term "lite" is used here because a great deal of the sex in this book while frenzied. Is simple girl on guy fare. He even lets her get away with "topping from below" more than a few times.
And while his tone and general demeanor can be quite commanding at times. This is at its heart a very sweet "billionaire meets his match" romance. That just happens to involve a sex club, mild spanking, beginner anal training, and very good straight heterosexual sex.
In short...
While it may not be the most original idea floating in the literary ether. Silken does offer readers a very well articulated "romantic but fast and flirty" intro to BDSM lite/billionaire meets his match fantasy.
Reviewer's Notes
Come Hard is the first book in the Silken series. It may be read alone. Or as part of its intended series.

Publishers Synopsis:
Permanent isn’t in my vocabulary…until she walks through my door.
My brokerage business built me billions, and my clubs wet my appetite. Not many women can handle the kind of kink I crave. When fate has Morgan knocking on my door, all I want to do is take her to Club Silken and make her scream.
Relationships are for the weak…so why do I want to give up control the moment we meet?
I’ve only experienced sex in shades of vanilla, but Zack…oh God, Zack…he turns me inside out with desires I’ve never known I had, but I sure as hell want to explore.
Review:
This romance/erotica books is a must must read. I am normally not a big point of view reader but Kenzie Stone (Jerrie Alexander) writes in such a way that its flows amazingly. I was unable to put this book down and can’t wait for the next book in the series. This book can be read independently without leaving you questioning what is going to happen next with Megan and Zack. Zack intrudes Megan to a member’s only club where things get interesting. This book is slightly on the graphic side and not for the faint of heart.
This book had plenty of steamy sex scenes but not much drama. Zach and Morgan are very much in lust the very first time they lay eyes on each other and their connection just keeps getting stronger. She's insecure about her looks and he's afraid of commitment after a divorce but, aside from a subplot that doesn't really go anywhere, that's pretty much all of the excitement. It was a sweet instalove story with some kink thrown in but that's about it.
Loved this sexy and adventurous book about different ways to navigate the BDSM lifestyle. This book demonstrates how trust comes into play. Loved this read!!
I preferred the friends to either main character. The conversation seemed a little unnatural, like it wasn’t a normal flow of conversation a lot of the time. Unless the ex comes back in one of the other books, that storyline seemed unnecessary,
Whoa, nelly. This was steamy. From the first couple of pages, you know that this is going to be all about sex. The story line between the main characters is good enough and keeps you satisfied, but it’s not a character building book. If you’re looking for hot and steamy, then this is it.
I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and flowed great. Morgan receives a call at 3 am after parting all night. She left her wallet at the night club she had attended, so she hops in her car in her pj’s to go retrieve it. This is where she meets Zack, a drop dead hot hunk. He convinces her to dinner, and tells her about the other clubs he is co-owner of, including Silken. This is her journey of learning of a whole new world.
I am looking forward to the rest of this series.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for a free advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Morgan meets Zack when she goes to rescue her purse from a club. What it leads to is a journey of discovery for pair. Zack owns a private club where anything goes. How far will Morgan go. I have to say I wouldn’t mind being a spectator there.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the arc in return for an honest review

Review:
It’s abundantly clear from the outset that this is going to be a sex-centred book. Plot comes second. Nevertheless, this book was short, steamy and enjoyable. While I think the plot had room for improvement and there were a lot of loose ends, anyone looking for an easy read with a lot of kink will surely enjoy this book. Great for fans of 50 Shades style reads
COME HARD
Jerrie Alexander’s Come Hard is the kind of erotic romance you’ll enjoy because it has all the components of angst, raw sex, a hot guy and a simple plot (but who needs the latter anyway?).
Morgan Kimball returns to a club because she had left her billfold there, and that’s when she meets one of the co-owners, Zack Pierce. Charming and swoon-worthy Zack Pierce. Hot Hot Hot! He sweeps Morgan off her feet and thus the plot begins when he introduces her to a world of new sexual experiences which all start at the other club Zack owns: Club Silken.
As in most erotic romances, either the guy or the girl isn’t looking for anything long-term, but of course the draw to these stories is “but they have to be together coz the sex is so good”! Well both Zack and Morgan fit into this category because at first they just want to have fun in this sex-only relationship, but of course when they spend more time together, we see how their fondness for each other grows.
The book title includes “Club Silken #1”, which means Alexander will make this into a series. This is my first book from the author and I’m glad because now I am very curious as to what #2 will bring. I’m sure it’ll be just as juicy and delicious as this was.
Thanks to NetGalley for sending me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I received this book for my honest review on Netgallley.
This hot and steamy romance is the first book in a series that surrounds the BDSM club, Club Silken. Morgan and Zack have fantastic chemistry. Their love story is not one to be missed. I cannot wait to read the next book!

this book is a full on erotica! it wastes no time in making up characters or story, if you are looking to read something hot and quick, this is the book for you.

i would not say this is good writing, the book, the characters are full of genre cliches. every dialogue is expected hence it does get a bit boring after a dozen pages. Zack felt really mechanical, robotic, everything he said felt devoid of emotions. i could not relate to any of the characters or how quick everything was happening but i guess that was the point of the book. its not a story but basic porn. Nick's character did intrigue me, i would have enjoyed reading about him. i liked kayla and chelsea better than morgan as well.

it eventually became a bit repetitive. i think nick and kayla are going to have a book of their own, that could be interesting.

Great book. Loved Zack and Morgan plus all their friends. I enjoyed how she was new to BDSM, but there weren't any long drawn out explanations about everything. It also didn't hurt that Zack was HAWT and sweet and perfect for Morgan. I thought the drama with the ex was lacking. There could have been more there.
An erotically, sexy story of a bdsm club and nightclub owner, who meets a lady customer after she looses her purse.
They both have and recognise their deep and instant attraction, which they explore and form a mutual long lasting, loving relationship.
With a happy ever after ending in this romantic story of love, commitment and happiness.
This was my first real foray into this genre, and I'm kind of disappointed by this title. I was hoping for a little more storyline - this has huge gaps in the timeline that I feel would have been better used to establish the relationship between the MCs and really make it a much more cohesive romance. The explanations of terms and introduction to this world was enlightening, though the writing itself was not that great.
2.5 stars overall
This book was steamy as expected. It's a familiar plotline, but I'm guessing most people aren't in it for the story. I had a little bit of a hard time buying into the insta-lust, but I get it, we need to quickly get into the good stuff. There were little details about the characters' backstory that could have been worked in better, and the writing was a little bit all over the place. The characters weren't well-rounded--she was an insecure woman who has never been in a decent relationship, and he's a rich guy who succeeded despite not having a loving, supportive family. That's really the extent of what we know beyond that they're both hot. I could've honestly done without any pretense of plot or character development, as those were both pretty lackluster. The sex scenes were hot enough to earn a few stars, though.
