This book was interesting and the writing resonated with me but I think a lot was missing in the audiobook version.

One of the things I enjoy most is listening to the audio of poetry pieces and this one didn't disappoint. Thanks to the publisher for providing this..

"Talk to Me Always" is a moving collection of poems written by (and read by) HRH Prince Alexi Lubomirski. Perhaps better know as a photographer, HRH has a soothing voice that perfectly accompanies his newest artistic adventure. While listening, I was greatly saddened that I could see the accompanying images and, while I did love his narration, I do feel this collection is best appreciated in print form.

Thank you for giving me an opportunity to review this on Net Galley!

First of all, I loved the pieces featured.
It's my first time listening via audiobook fictional works or works that are non-fiction. I think it takes getting used to.

Nonetheless, the voice actor was great and soothing. I realized that poetry on audiobook is just not my thing.

A beautiful, earnest poetry collection covering all phases of life from childhood to death. This gorgeous, arresting collection is organized by topic, from family to nature to travel and more. I especially adored the poems ruminating on his children and parenthood. Some of these poems brought tears to my eyes. The narration was absolutely fantastic. Lubomirski recites his poems with poise and emotion. I think I would have enjoyed this poetry collection even more if I saw the photographs included in the physical book.

Thank you Andrews McMeel Audio and NetGalley for providing this audiobook ARC.

While I didn't connect with the entirety of this it was stunning and I'm sure having a physical copy would make it a 4 star for me

This collection of Poetry is absolutely beautiful, I don't have enough words to describe how I felt while listening to it, from beginning to end I felt so connected, I found it very pleasant, the narration was great, and the voice of the narrator helped make it more deep the meaning of poems!

Thank you to Netgalley, to the author and the publisher for this amazing ALC!

This poetry collection felt personal and universal, timely and timeless, fanciful and down-to-earth. The stories gave perspective, while somehow resonating at the same time. This is one of those lovingly crafted poetry books that makes one want to read more poetry books—all different kinds—and even take a shot at writing some poetry of one's own; I've fallen in love with the genre all over again, after an extended break from it. On top of all that, the narrator's voice was soothing and clear. I highly recommend this audiobook.

I liked the simplicity and relatability of this book! It's such a shame that I finished it on audiobook format. Would have loved to see the photographs associated with the poems.

I listened to an audiobook of this collection of poetry this month and found it highly enjoyable, especially for someone like me who is fairly new to reading poetry. The narrator (who was also the author) had a great voice for narrating poetry and I found that although some of the poems were simple, they had deep meaning. There were also several sections throughout the book relating to family, friends, the environment, and other topics so I think many people could find something to relate to. Unfortunately, since I did listen to an audiobook, I couldn’t experience the photography at all and sometimes I was unsure where poems ended and began in a few places. Based on the poetry alone, I found that this was a meaningful collection of poems that I would suggest to anyone who is interested in trying out some poetry!

Thank you so much to netgalley and Andrews McMeel audio for the chance to listen to this!

The prose was interesting I think, it worked well but didn't strike me as extraordinary. His works obviously come from a very personal place and come across as more of a set of sentimental essays with striking prose than poems. This collection was based solely on love in different relationship dynamics that pertain to the poet's own position in his life. Overall, these works were self reflections compiled into a poetry collection which were narrated quite well by the author himself

Talk to Me Always by HSH Prince Alexi Lubormirski is a great poetry collection.

I am not a huge fan of poetry but really enjoyed this collection. Talk to Me Always explores a wide variety of topics including love, parenting, and death.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by HSH Prince Alexi Lubromirski. I always like when audiobooks are narrated by the author. This really allows the reader to experience the emotion the author is trying to convey. However, based on the description there are photographs in the book. I would recommend reading the book instead or listening and looking at the photographs.

Thank you NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Audio for Talk to Me Always.

This narrative is a collection of poetry, prose, and photography, read by the author himself. Although the audiobook didn’t come with a digital copy of the book, I was able to find the book through Google books and follow along. The words really pair well with the photographs. Each chapter covers a topic which ranges from romance, family, nature, change, life, and death. The photos add detail to the work and the narration carries meaning because the author himself is reading his own work. I really liked that.

THANK YOU @netgalley AND @alexilubomirski for letting me listen to this book.

"Thus, here lies the remains of my unrequited love
dormant between two chapters.
I place the relics on the table
and gently blow away the ashes of this love story's demise.

- An excerpt from the poem, The Early Bluebell"

Thank you NetGalley and Andrews McMeel for providing me with an advance copy of this audiobook. This review is limited to the audiobook quality and the Narrator.

'Talk To Me Always', by the high-profile celebrity fashion photographer HSH Prince Alexi Lubomirski, is a collection of 'Photopoetry'-the pairing of his iconic photography with his hypnotic and dreamy poetry as an ode to all art-lovers. Divided into 9 sections, he explores the themes of love, loss, family, fatherhood, hope, courage, and inspiration.

Narrated with proper eloquence, this unabridged audiobook lives up to the exquisite experience this photo poetry collection provides to its readers. This audiobook purchase includes a PDF supplement of Alexi's photography so that is bound to make this experience come closer to reading the book. I had no issue following through the narration. Even though it was slightly accented, Alexi's enunciations were clear and evocative.

I really enjoyed listening to this mesmerising audiobook and I adored some of the poems in audio more, than I did when I was reading. There was an audio quality issue at a certain point of the audiobook (which I think, is limited to the complimentary copy I got but I am not quite sure about it) and at certain points, I preferred the physical book/ebook than this audiobook. Apart from that, this is a an highly recommended choice for your next listen!

A beautifully written collection of poetry about various kinds of love (romantic, parental, fraternal) and family. The poems felt so raw and personal, and it is clear the author has put his whole heart in them.
Also, the voice of the audiobook was so soft and soothing, the whole book passed in the blink of an eye.

This poetry, prose, and photography is really wonderful, I just do not think that collection was for me.

I enjoyed the family poems the most. I am NOT a father, but I deeply pictured my own father and husband as Lubomirski's words. So many moments were so personal and deep but yet so universally connected. I really loved those.

The photography is beautiful. The poems were very real and accessible for so many readers, and I think poetry like that is needed, especially right now.

Talk To Me Always is a collection of poems accompanied by beautiful photography. The author of this collection is a celebrity fashion photographer Alexi Lubimorski. In his poems, he explores love, family, fatherhood, nature, hope, life, and death.

I listened to an audiobook and read the poems in an ebook at the same time. The author himself is reading poetry, and he presents it very well. I recommend this to all who like poetry and photography.

This audiobook is good because you can hear the author's interpretation and how it should sound. An ebook is also good because you can see all those excellent photographs that accompany these poems very well.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to listen to this! All opinions are my own.

This collection of poetry was just everything I needed. It was beautiful in every single word. I love the way Hsh Prince Alexi Lubomirski wrote it and how he decided to tell small stories of his life in this book. It was just really well written and amazing the way he showed us his own perspective in life. This collection of poems talk from romance, to parenthood, to grief, and more. It was full of emotions and such an amazing trip to his own world.

The audiobook by the author added a more intense way of listening to it since you are going through this journey with him. It was just incredible and such an amazing audiobook to analized what surrounds you.

Read this one through PDF and it was delightful getting to listen to the audiobook alongside the book itself. Narration suits the poetry really well, I enjoyed it more in the physical form though.

I regret that I will be unable to listen to and/or review this audiobook due to downloading issues associated with the NetGalley Shelf app. I would be happy to read and review this book in another format at some time in the future.
