This is a simple, easy, and fun book for bedtime and I loved all the animals. I think kids will really like this and it'll be a new bedtime favorite.

Barnyard Bedtime is the perfect book to read to my grandchildren as they are preparing for bed. This is an adorable story with the cutest illustrations. It is time for bed and a trip around the farm shows us all the tired animals, but they are all in the wrong bed. The text was rhyming and lyrical, with a great cadence to read aloud. My grandson loved trying to repeat the animal sounds. Each page had them cooing over the cute baby animals. We read it a couple of times before all three of them crawled into their own beds. This is another of those books that will go in my new baby gift baskets.

Very cute book for young ones and a fun one to read out loud. The pictures were bright and fun to look at. Where's the pig and cow and horse? Well, the grandchildren enjoyed looking and finding them. Fun book!

I love children’s books! This is a wonderful book to read at bedtime and to introduce animal sounds to your child. I can see the interaction of repeating these sounds.
I would use with a story time theme of bedtime or farm animals. Including any farm animal craft or maybe a template of a bed with a blanket. The favorite animal from the story tucked in.
I also see this as a gift for a new baby, with an added blanket and a stuffed animal.

"Barnyard Bedtime" is a relaxing new book from author, Annie Sarac about a group of barnyard animals that are all headed to the wrong bed! This book is a sweet book with some great illustrations that young readers will enjoy. The prose is lyrical and calming and perfect to read before bed to get kids settled down! Our family enjoyed visiting all of the animals but we loved the kittens the best! Our children thought they were adorable!

Special thank you to the publisher for the free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a sweet bedtime book for little ones with charming illustrations. It's a great way to get ready for bed and work on animal sounds as well as quieting down before sleep.
Many thanks to Sourcebooks Wonderland and NetGalley for the advance copy.

A perfect five stars for this perfect book, that has a great rhyming narrative and knock-out illustrations. We start by travelling all round the farmyard, seeing every young animal – the chicks, the young sheep, the piglets – all looking sleepy-eyed and dozing, but all in entirely the wrong place for settling down to sleep. This part might be interactive, with the youngest audience member tasked with telling the reader where the animals belong, but after that we certainly are in lullaby territory, as not only the farm animals but perhaps the child also gets a final drink, and then we're away to the land of nod. There's not a fault to mention in the text, and the artworks really are of the standard that makes you think they're almost wasted on the young. A beautiful, beautiful book then, whose timeless classiness should by rights make an instant classic – I really can see a family heirloom edition, specially designed for gifting, being made some time in the future.

A darling little tale of animals in the barnyard getting ready to go to bed. But oh no! They are all not where they are supposed to be! It will help children learn animal sounds and they will adore these sweet illustrations.

This sweet rhyming book is bedtime ( or nap time ) reading at its finest. Wee ones will snuggle up and enjoy a variety of adorable baby farm animals that are extremely tired but guess what? They are all hunkered down in wrong barnyard beds. Oh my! They will need help to sort out their misplacements. This book calls for problem solving by the reader so the animals can finally locate their very own beds and in so doing get a good night's sleep.

"Nighttime floats across the farm.
It's time for sleep, of course.
But something here is not quite right...
Where's the pig and cow and horse?"

The illustrations are endearing, my favourite being the fuzzy little lambs. I have no idea how the illustrator made such cute woolly coats on each of them and was able to visually capture their emotions... so fun! This board book would make a wonderful stocking stuffer, birthday or shower gift. I highly recommend it and I know kids will love it.

I absolutely enjoyed this delightful book written for young children. It is the perfect book to read with them at naptime or bedtime. It features the cutest bunch of little adorably illustrated barnyard animals who are all tired and ready for bedtime after a long day on the farm.

The animals are in the wrong beds though! So how perfect is this book to spend with a child at bedtime to try and figure out with them which animal should be in which barnyard bed? It will make them think about each animal logically and be a totally fun interactional and pleasant experience to have right before they go to bed themselves. It includes what sounds each animal makes, which is always fun when reading about animals too!

This book would also make a great reading activity for a teacher, librarian, or babysitter to read to a group of children. They would all have fun and learn at the same time.

I highly recommend this wonderful children's book. With the way it is written in fun little rhymes and the cutest spot on pictures, you can't go wrong for the children! They will love it!

I would like to thank #NetGalley, the publisher, Sourcebook Wonderland, and the author, Annie Sarac for the digitalARC I received in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
