Thanks to #NetGalley for this ARC (or it was then), the publisher and the author.

This is the 3rd of the series and the first two were ok but not standouts and were sort of disconnected. Looked forward to reading this one since it's been on my Ipad since 2020. Another reason I wanted to read this series I guess is because it's set in Baltimore, MD, and I enjoy reading localities set in my area.

Grace's son Carter and Mimi's son Rowan met in toddler play group. Now they are sophmores in high school and not really friends anymore.

A lot of people are not fans of Mimi and not because of her protest about the school budget going towards sports. Grace is one of them who wants the budget going towards more important things in the school like equipment for the science lab. Basically it's sports vs. academics with the parents.

They maybe rivals but they are still friends. Will these life-long friends become enemies or somewhat like that after something happens to Grace's son Carter at Mimi's house?

Will Grace & Sam's marriage survive? Will Rowan and Carter become sort of friends again after all this and after all these years?

Sam and Grace were eating dinner prepared by a woman on the “meal train.” Sam asked Grace who made it – it was lasagna stuffed with three cheeses, mushrooms, tiny meatballs, hot sausage and hard boiled eggs. Really? Never heard of hard boiled eggs in a lasagna.

I felt bad for Kim who is Sam and Grace's 10 year old daughter who was sort of neglected due to Carter's situation. Grace tried to be with her and do things with her too.

The ending was exactly what I thought it would be.

This is a gripping and emotional novel that is a perfect fit for readers who enjoy stories about complex relationships, family dynamics, and the power of forgiveness, as it masterfully weaves together themes of friendship, love, and redemption in a small town setting.

For All She Knows
Potomac Point
by Jamie Beck

Grace and Mimi have been friends since their son were in preschool . Grace happily married with two children and strict rules. Mimi a single parent and slightly more laid back. All went well until the boys were teenagers and there is a tragic accident and Grace son is injured. Their friendship ends as Grace is baying for blood Mimi’s in particular. Lawyers are involved Mimi is standing to loose everything. The small town is divided Grace’s marriage is suffering. All over teenagers drink. It a tragedy for everyone. Who will win in a no win contest.

It is thought provoking. Though I rooted for Mimi. Ultimately there will really be no winner no matter the outcome.

I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide me review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

Mimi and Grace have been best friends since their sons were toddlers, but now a tragic accident during a party at Mimi's house has them at odds. While the bad decisions made by several people led up to the accident, Grace can't let go of the anger and blame off everyone else... the boys at fault, Mimi, her husband Sam. Her bitterness may cause her to lose everything she loves. Will she learn to forgive before it's too late?
I enjoyed the story, especially the characters of Carter and Sam. But Grace's hatred and totally inflexible attitude was such a downer. She just seemed out for revenge against everyone. Several times her attitude almost had me giving up on the book, but I still wanted to find out what happened with Carter, so I wanted to finish the book.

Grace and Mimi couldn't be more different as mothers, yet the friendship that they share is close knit and they have supported each other through the ups and downs of life. Their lives are upended by a tragedy that threatens to destroy Grace and to end their relationship. I was really drawn to the relationship of the two women and just how different they were, however there were quite a few things that just did not work for me. I think my issues were just the shear number of cliche character traits. Both women just fit into stereotypes and just begin to feel like I was reading the same things about them over and over again. You have the divorced, single, hot mom that everything thinks is a flake because she is so "different." You have the mom that is overbearing and wants to control every facet of her life, but at the same time has a troubled past. The story was decent, however it just really seemed to drag out too long. The ending was well written and tied this up nicely though. Thanks for the ARC, NetGalley.

For All She knows is a beautiful story of friends and families. It’s the story of their bond, their support and emotions. Being told in both Grace and Mimi’s POV, the book is a good read on parenting and family issues.

The plot was good, atleast I thought it was when I read the summary. But there was too much rambling and unnecessary text which could be avoided to make the book more appealing. The plot was smart and had a lot of potential but I mean… I don’t know what to say.
I DNF’d it. I read the first 5 chapters and was like ‘please stop, have mercy on meeeee’! So I skipped and read the last 2 chapters and I am thankful to myself to skip because the ending was not that good.
There was extreme characterization. I mean it’s good to tell about the characters more so that the readers can connect better but there is a point to stop. In this book there wasn’t any. It was so difficult to even like the characters. Honestly speaking they were toxic. I can go on and on about this book hating it but let’s just end by saying it was so so disturbing and I don’t recommend it at all.

For All She Knows was a thought provoking and interesting read that really resonated with me. The story of the 2 mothers, Grace and Mimi, who have very different parenting styles kept me engaged with the book until the end. It was hard at times to read since as a parent the thought of a child being hurt is very hard to deal with. However the authors writing really captures all of the different sides of the story and the different emotions. I enjoyed that the story alternated between Grace and Mimi’s perspectives which provided a more balanced view of the different sides of the story. This was a thought provoking read. Now that I read this book, I’m interested in reading the other books in this series. Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this and share my opinion.

Two Best Friends, Teen age Sons, Marriage and Life Altering Choices. This book has it all. It brought out so many emotions for me. The stresses of high school and fitting in, small town life and all the struggles that come with that. When Carter gets injured it splits the town and families. Grace and Sam’s marriage and family really suffer. This book is very eye opening and emotional on many topics. My heart broke for the hurt they were feeling and came back together at the end just like Grace’s heart. It was full. Amazing book.
I received a copy of the book for a honest voluntary review by the Author.

From start to finish this book brings up a serious topic that people do not want to talk about. This book tells the stories of best friends with different parenting styles. When their differences cause a tragedy. The subject of the book is underage drinking something many of us deal with in everday life. In my opinion this is a well written book. I felt for both mothers in different ways. I was also happy to see this topic in a book, as this is a topic not discussed much.

Although as you can see from my list of read books, I mostly enjoy romantic titles, books about extraordinary love, brave knights and ladies in distress.... but I chose this book quite by accident, I read it and weeks later I was still disturbed by the truths that they are so vividly captured, not to mention disturbed and scared as a mother of two toddlers..... Such subtle messages, intertwined through the pages that make you think, to try to re-evaluate your life from another angle...
This title is definitely an escape from my preferences and a work that should definitely be a useful read for all parents. Two women with different approaches to their parenting responsibilities become best friends, raising their children together, against all the odds. It seems that the bond between them is too strong to be destroyed, but one unfortunate event and all predictions break down, all habits and rules change and everything is shattered...
The accusations culminate, the small town takes sides and is divided, Mimi's business and overall situation are in jeopardy ... the only salvation seems to be the young policeman, who offers her salvation and the opportunity for new love ..... at the same time as the world of her best friend is collapsing and falls under her feet ... Is there a solution on the horizon? Maybe forgiveness is a cure for all pain and wounds? But is there a place for that in their hearts?
The story is told from the perspective of both friends, and although I could not relate to either, I managed to understand them to some extent. The writing style is quite descriptive but too sterile for my taste. It must also be noted there was a stagnation in several parts and somehow a lack of emotionality, especially in the parts of sadness and reckless finger-pointing.
Anyway, an interesting read, which will make you think and look at your decisions in a slightly different way.

This book is an emotional roller coaster and should be mandatory reading for all parents of teenagers.

Grace and Mimi met at a playgroup when their boys were starting grade school. Despite being very different (Grace is a shy, stereotypical housewife to her husband of 20 years and a fairly strict parent whereas Mimi is outgoing, divorced and rather lax on parental rules), they became fast friends and have built a sister-like bond over the past 10 years. It seems that even being on opposite sides of a contentious town-wide debate over the school’s next budget won’t injure their relationship.

But when Mimi’s loose parenting rules indirectly result in a devastating injury to Grace’s son, it drives a huge wedge between them. When Grace’s determination to get justice for her son involves lawyers and lawsuits, causing an even further divide amongst the town, it seems there’s no chance their friendship will survive. Grace’s marriage may not survive, either.

I love a book where I’m completely surprised in the direction it goes. This story revolves around the issue of teenage drinking and I thought things would be clear cut and the wronged party obvious. Personally, I more closely identify with Grace, yet it was Mimi who I ended up admiring and rooting for. However, my heart broke for Grace and all the things she was doing her best to juggle. This book didn’t challenge my opinion on teen drinking, but it did cause me to stop and think about how I might deal with the situation these women did.

This series of Jamie Beck’s is firmly in the women’s fiction category and not her usual contemporary romance, so the one thing that was slightly disappointing about this book is that we get only a hit of a romance for Mimi. After all she went through, I would have really liked more of Mimi and her new relationship! But this is a compelling, heartbreaking story that I truly believe every mother - every parent, really - should read.

This, the 3rd book of a remarkable series, is so touching and real, showing how quickly good friendships can change when tragedy strikes. Choices and different parenting styles are common to all of us, but in #forallsheknows, this hits home between friends & divided neighbors. This is a fabulous addition to #thePotomacpointseries.

Despite differing approaches to life and parenting, the Grace and Mimi are best friends, and have raised their kids together while cementing a sisterlike bond that neither believed could be broken.

But when a string of ill-fated decisions results in a teen party with a tragic outcome for Grace’s son, the friendship is ripped apart and an already-splintered community explodes.

Accusations are leveled, litigation ensues, and the people of Potomac Point take sides, all of which threatens Mimi’s business and her current custody agreement. Her sole salvation is a young cop who just might be her second chance at love. That fact only antagonizes Grace, whose marriage is crumbling beneath the weight of blame and the echo of past mistakes.

With their lives unraveling, the former friends stand to lose everything they love unless they learn to forgive—both themselves and each other.

Fortunately, I read the author’s note before starting the book, because it helped me to keep an open mind while reading and I also truly agree with what she mentioned.

This is beautiful story of two friends and their families. I loved both the main characters, Grace and Mimi. They were so well written and realistic, that they both were likeable despite their flaws.

I am so glad the book is narrated through the viewpoints of both Grace and Mimi, so that we could understand both the sides of the story. I felt so many different emotions while reading, and there were times when I found myself getting judgmental. But then, I realized that there isn’t really a right or wrong way in parenting.

Overall, I feel book is simply amazing and it takes you on a journey of discovering forgiveness and love!

This is not your typical HEA book. It took me longer to read it because it really touched on my emotions as a mother, wife and friend.

Grace is a wife and mom of two and has built this stable life for her family. Her son, Carter, is injured in a tragic accident, which unfortunately takes place at her best friend Mimi's house. Mimi is a single mom and has a much more casual approach to how she lives her life.

When the accident happens, Grace puts a lot of pressure on herself and a lot of blame on others. I really felt for both Grace and Mimi, and also Grace's husband Sam. The book is from Grace and Mimi's viewpoints. It was painful reading all of the pain they both were in, and the end of the book wrapped up quickly (and in a good way.)

This is a real-life, human factor story. Where everyone’s decisions and actions affect others. Mimi and Grace are polar opposites, each carrying its own burdens and flaws. But one thing they can depend on is each other. Until the unthinkable happens and their worlds come crashing down around them.

Soon they find themselves second-guessing everything, including their friendship. The events that follow will either make them stronger or then break them.

If you are looking for steamy romance this book may not be for you. But if you want to go on a journey of self discovery, reform, and growth you’ve picked the right book.
