This is a good mystery and enjoyable for that alone but, when overlaid with such an unusual cast of characters, the book moves from good to great. The introduction of different cultures and the perspectives of those different characters was almost educational in terms of the expansion of experience for the reader. Tragic at times and often thrilling, this will please readers who want something a bit different in their mysteries.
