Though it took me a lot of time to finish this book it was really great!
It is filled with absolutely all the information you need to understand where meditation beads come from, their history and how to use them. If you're new to this whole concept, this book has all the information and I especially loved it had explanations on how you can make your own.
I liked a lot the style in which it was written, how the witting flows with empathy and how it makes the information available for anyone, as a spiritual practice, holding the respect for the cultures that gave us this insightful practice.
I received a copy of this in order to share my view on it.
There was so much extraneous information that I really didnt feel was necessary to the subject matter.

I have a set of mala beads with 108 beads on it. I have wanted to use them but always felt intimidated with them. I have had rosary beads and prayer beads, but this was new territory for me. This was the book I was looking for and did not know it.
I was surprised by this book. I believed it would be one that goes into using meditation beads right off the bat and explained just common ways. It went into great detail on the history and how different cultures used them. Along with types of mantras with their history. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
