While the book covers rituals, I feel like this reads more as a DIY book for cooking and making skin care, balms etc. at home. Sure, the author says she returns the ingredients to nature when she is done using them, but that in and of itself doesn’t make this a book I would expect from Llewellyn.

Maybe I am being too hard on the content, but I formulate my own recipes and products for personal use and infuse them with herbs and essential oils as well. I feel like this book could have covered the ingredients a bit more. Fewer recipes and more about the ingredients with a few examples of formulating with purpose would have been more useful to the average Lleweylln reader. Though if you are a DIYer who is looking for recipes and can use the guidance, this would be a great book for you.
