This is from a series of 5 books. The books and this book was good. I have read 4 out of the 5 books so far and will read that 5th one. The only problem is that it seems to go too slow and there is just a lot of repetitive thinking and things that happens with these books. It isn't bad, just sometimes it gets a little long. Would recommend.

Different perspectives add complexity and a sense of almost doubt as the reader learns about the characters and their lives. Strong characters with fascinating back stories are introduced with enough detail to make the reader invested in their fate and the plot itself is well paced and interesting.

While this book got better as it went on, i had a lot of trouble with it in the beginning and i felt like i was plodding through ryn' story, too many characters and too much/not enough backstory to make it make sense or to feel like i cared about any of them. the other story was simpler. Maybe because it was not the first book in the series but it didnt work for me as a stand alone.

Ryn Davis is the adult child of a mother who was once a high-priced escort. She has spent years burying her past. As her way of coming to terms with her childhood, she has suffered long term, chronic insomnia. She has buried the past so deep, she has amnesia about most of her childhood.

Several things happen to Ryn. Out of the blue, a stranger calls her, claims that her mother was murdered 20 years ago. And then an old childhood friend emerges. Ryn doesn't remember this friend especially as lies and half truths are exposed.

Book Blurb: . A psychopath's ever-present memories drive him to exact revenge for Ryn's lies about the past. His terrifying game of cat and mouse pit him against her where she is most vulnerable.

She doesn't know who .. or what ... to believe. The only way to the truth is to tear down her own walls ... but can she do that while someone has her targeted?

Well written, the alternating points of view between characters are a real page turner. There are suspenseful surprises that start on the very first page and maintains that level until the final unexpected conclusion. Although 3rd in the series, this can be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend reading in order to get all those little nuggets on gems that make the character of Ryn unique.

Many thanks to the author / BooksGoSocial / Netgalley for the digital copy of this psychological thriller. Read and reviewed voluntarily, opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.

Described as a psychological thriller, the story is more than that.

Ryn runs a women's shelter and Beau runs a band. Ryn also has selective amnesia and does not remember all the details from her violent past including the murder of her mother. We have Molly living with an abusive and controlling husband Chad with no means to get out of the marriage. We have these strands continuing into the story on their own with the past death of her mother intruding into the present and one wonders where is the connection between the different strands.

The story was compelling but a bit too complicated for me to read in one go. I came back to it with renewed interest and read it to the end. The characters were convoluted, the story line similar.

I enjoyed this story and the characters. The story felt well rounded and likeable to a wide age group.

“No Little Lies” is a thrilling and action packed story filled with characters who are relatable and you grow attached to. Ryn and Beau live busy lives, Beau has a band and Ryn runs a women’s shelter while running away from her past. Her mother’s death haunts her as well as the death of a girl she knew in her childhood. She has amnesia and is unable to remember everything. On the other hand Molly lives with an abusive and violent husband. She wants to leave, but she can’t as she has loved ones she has to protect. I loved the alternating points of view from two different characters with different stories because it adds to the mystery. How are they connected? When will their stories interconnect? The mystery behind what happened to Ryn’s mother and the truth behind Ryn’s past is intriguing. The unraveling of the Ryn’s past is so interesting and satisfying. I love the ending as well, it was so much more than I imagined it was and the twist was amazing.

I didn't really enjoy this book to the extent I usually do with physiological thrillers. The main character seemed cold and aloof and the other characters were not fully fleshed out. I am sure this will be liked by some readers it is just not for me.

Thank you Net Galley for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest opinion.
