An erotic take on the Cinderella story with a menage twist. YESS!! This was absolutely freakin awesome! I loved the ‘Cinderella threesome’ vibe and the connection that Ashe, Sebastian, and Elijah developed with one another. I thought this was a unique take on a classic retelling. Looking forward to reading more form this author.
An amazing and sexy update and twist on Cinderella! This book was hot hot hot. Not for the faint of heart it’s XXX
Fairytale retellings are one of my favourite books, this is a Cinderella retelling with two princes.
I'll be honest it was just a bit rushed and so the emotional connection between them all didn't click.
Even the two male leads who had been together for years before the heroine was introduced it felt flat and the connection seemed shallow at best.
The story in all other ways included the usual evil stepmother, dead father and sadly was missing the two evil stepsisters one who eventually turns good.
The writing had a lot of potential and I'd definitely read another book by this author to see what else they have to offer

The cover is HOTTTTTT.
This was my first book by this author, so I wasn't too sure of what to expect from them.
But oohhh this book was *Spicy*!!!
Their writing style is great.
The storyline flowed easily and was easy to follow.
The characters were well-developed and easy to relate to or like.
It was like a modern re-telling of Cinderella, but with more spice. Definitely check it out.
I'll definitely be looking out for other work by this author.
If you love retellings of your favorite fairytale this is a very sexy one to read. It also happens to be a book with three instead of two characters madly in love. I loved how they fought for each other and they were characters you couldn't help loving.
This is a hot Cinderella story but told in a exciting and passionate way. I was gripped from the beginning, sympathising with Ashe having to cope with her step sister and mother who blackmail her to slave for them. She just needs to hang on until she reaches the age where she can gain her freedom but is starting to think the cost of staying is too much. The spark that starts an inferno is a chance meeting with Sebastian and his bodyguard, Elijah. Thinks get complicated and as Ashe believes the constant brainwashing from her family that no one would ever want someone like her, she can't believe their offer for more. I really enjoyed this story by Eden French.
I received a complimentary copy of Ever After on exchange for an honest review. Overall, I enjoy tackling a menage romance story every once in awhile to change up my reading genres. This was good, but not the best.
Pros: This actually had a plot and not just steamy scenes. There was good character development and the writing style was easy to read
Cons: The story! I am not sure why Ashe didn't just leave her toxic home life. She was 22 years old, and I just couldn't understand how she was being forced to clean, cook, do laundry, and all of the family grunt work while being emotionally abused by her stepmother and stepsister. I understood she was waiting to turn 24 to collect her trust fund, but hello, get a job, get a school loan, do something. What 22-24 year old isn't broke and racking up debt?
Without spoiling the entire book, I also had a very difficult time with the plan to get pregnant so Sebastian wouldn't have to marry Ashe's stepsister. How is that going to stop a wedding? A much better tactic, would have been for Sebastian and Ashe to elope. Now that would have definitely made for a great finale and put her stepsister in her place.
Again, I was happy to see an actual plot, but it just wasn't a story that I could "buy into."

Sooooo I'm not sure how to feel about this one. I was very intrigued by the premise. I love Poly or Ménage books and I especially love them when there is already a relationship in place between two of the members and then we take on more relationships.
I thought the chemistry between all parties was really good. I liked Ashe, and Bastion, and Elliot and I thought the set up was interesting. Ashe being stuck under her step mother's thumb and trying to hold out until she gets her trust fund. Sebastian is being blackmailed to take a wife, who happens to be Ashe's Stepsister was a very cool set up as well. Since Bastian's father already knows he is in a relationship with his bodyguard makes it extra horrible.
Where this fell apart for me was in 2 areas. 1. I was not sure why, once the 3 of them decided that Ashe would marry Sebastian, she kept going home to a dangerous environment. And even more so once she was pregnant and we knew the baby was coming.
2. The sex scenes were really hot, but there was hardly any sword crossing for this being an MMF ménage, there was a lot of solo couple stuff and we didn't even get a good scene of all three until the epilogue parts of the story.. I don't know, it just left me unsatisfied.
A lot of this is personal preference, but it also felt kind of disjointed and motivations were very confusing. Also, the possible PTSD that Elliot was suffering was mentioned a few times and then thrown away. Sooo.. not sure what was going on there.
3/5 stars for me.
Thank you to the publisher and @netgalley for a copy of the book. This was a steamy retelling of Cinderella. I love the idea of 2 Prince Charming and how amazing Elijah and Bastian was to each other and to Ashe. I am not a huge fan of Insta love and this gave me that vibe. I felt all the characters were way too Insta love with each other.
Thank you Entangled for gifting me a free e-arc in exchange for an honest review!
Wow. This was addicting. Steamy. Hot. Just wow. I literally could not put it down. Like forget everything else I had to day today. Cause there was no way I'd be able to stop read this. This was so steamy like holy cow. It was not what I was expecting, and oh boy was I glad about that. This was just so good!
I really don't know what else to say other than damn. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a 🌶 spicy 🌶 addictive romance.
This is not your mother's Cinderella! This was steamy with a capital S. I recently became a fan of menage romances and French certainly accomplished the dynamic the relationship requires. I especially loved the relationship between Sebastian and Elijah.
I think the way the Cinderella fairy tale was incorporated was interesting. I liked being able to point to the Easter eggs.
My main complaint is that it ran a bit long, especially for an erotica romance.
If your looking for a down 'n dirty Cinderella inspired tale with a menage romance, this certainly fits the bill!
This story is so much more than I was expecting from reading the blurb. I was looking for straight up erotica and just steamy hot fun. I got that and so much more. The story encompasses a deep love between the three characters. It involves fighting for the things you believe in, being true to yourself, and being willing to protect the people you love at all cost. Sebastian, Elijah and Ashe could not have been more different yet together they made the perfect family. The author has done a magnificent job of discussing the issues while still making it about the romantic story it is. It is truly a fairytale happily ever after.
There wasn't anything that I didn't love about this story.
Okay, that's not completely true I hated the way Ashe's stepmother and stepsister treated her but since this is a Cinderella retelling I have to say that even that part was well done.
Elijah was hired four years ago to watch over Sebastian Bradford and shortly after they began a relationship. They are great together but when they meet Ashe it's like they found something they didn't even know was missing, and it was beautiful to watch how all three of them fell in love. But don't think this story is all sugar and sweetness because it really isn't. Both Sebastian and Ashe have parents in their lives that reek havoc on them. The crazy parent of the year award goes to....I let you decide that one after you read the story.
When Elijah and Bastian were with Ashe they worshiped her and revered her and she gave them both everything she had. This story was over 400 pages but I devoured it and wanted more. The sexy time was very steamy and plentiful.
Eden French is a new to me author and she totally blew me away with this book so much so that I have added RED and TAHOE BLUE to my Christmas wish-list. If you enjoy fairy-tale retelling's, menage romances, or triad/polyamorous romances I highly recommend this book to you.
Happy Reading!!!
**I have voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for my Blog, Nadine's Obsessed with Books** post will be live on 11/20/2020
Ashe's life is like Cinderella's in more ways than one. She's got an evil stepmom and an evil stepsister, who despise her even more once her father passes, she's oppressed by them, and she's not living her best life by any means. But then she meets a Prince Charming and life starts looking up. But wait, he's got his own Prince Charming, and suddenly this Cinderella has found herself TWO princes. What's a girl to do?!
Well, enjoy herself in ALL the ways for one. And most importantly, fall in love with her two men who are already in love with each other.
Damn...where can I find myself two hot princes who don't just love me, but love each other too?! Because Ashe has got it made when she falls for Sebastian and Elijah. I loved this Cinderella retelling. It's hot, the three of them are great characters and their menage is balanced perfectly between the bedroom and the heart.

Content warning: This book can be classified as either a romantic erotica or erotic romance and has explicit sexual scenes between the three main characters.
Description: Ever After is an erotic retelling of Cinderella. In this version, Ashe Pembroke is a 22-year-old who lost her father in a tragic airplane crash. After his death, Ashe’s stepmother, Gloria, and stepsister, Veronica become emotionally abusive towards her, cut off her tuition funding and force her to work as a servant to them both. Gloria controls her father’s fortune and does not plan to share any of it with Ashe. Ashe will receive her trust when she marries or turns 24. At that time, she plans to finish her culinary schooling and open a restaurant and be free of her evil stepmother.
Sebastian Bradford is preparing to take over his family’s company, Bradford Communications. He is madly in love with his bodyguard – Elijah and they have kept their affair secret. They are afraid that it will interfere in Sebastian becoming the CEO of the family company. They had always talked about having children but wanted to add a third to their relationship and incorporate them into their life.
While on a hike, Elijah and Sebastian meet Ashe and the chemistry is instant. Will Ashe be brave enough to face her evil stepmother? Will Sebastian and Elijah come out about their relationship? Can the three of them make this unique relationship work?
What I liked:
•This erotica has WAY more plot and page-turning than your typical erotica. While I was here for the steamy scenes, I also enjoyed the story between those scenes.
•The sex scenes made this queer girl blush!
•I really enjoyed that the author depicted a positive polyamory relationship. I have seen this very rarely in books and would love to see it more.
•I liked how the author retold Cinderella. There were some obvious and subtle nods to the key elements of the fairytale.
What I didn’t like:
•There was a bit of repetitive language used with the descriptions. For example, I think Ashe is described as “exquisite” at least 20 times.
•I would have liked more character development of the supporting characters. Gloria and Veronica are very one-dimensional. It is unclear what their motives are besides power. While that can be a powerful motivator, it isn’t explained why they were so different when Ashe’s father was alive compared to now.
•I know this was a fairytale and mean to be a fantasy, but all three of these characters were new to polyamory. Yes – Elijah and Sebastian had had some hot hook-ups in the past but none that involved emotions on this level. It would have been nice to see them have some normal hiccups along the way with this being new to all three of them. Jealousy and communication gaffes are common things that happen in polyamory situations. It would have made the relationship feel more real and less complete fantasy.
•I loved that the characters discussed sexually transmitted infection (STI) status. I don’t think I have seen that before. However, they used the language “clean” to describe themselves. Using this type of language implies that people with STIs are “dirty.” For a book that wants to be sex positive, it would have been far better to say, “I’ve had negative tests.” Also, saying that you are clean does not delineate what you have been tested for – it can vary from provider to provider.
I would recommend this book to anyone wanting a light but very steamy modern retelling of Cinderella. I will definitely read more from this author and look forward to her next story!

Ever After by Eden French was a great 5 star read.
This is a twist on Cinderella and the move Ever After but we get two hot prince charming's.
Ashe is stuck with her evil step mother and step sister for a little while longer after her fathers unexpected death. My heart broke for Ashe in the scene involving her mothers ring. She flees into the woods to a place where she finds peace. This is where she ends up meeting Sebastian and Elijah.
There is an instant connection between the three of them. Let’s just say that things get even steamier and they develop relationships with each other. And of course there are people that cause issues for them which added a great element to the story. Can these three have their happily “Ever After”? 1-click and get started today.

Wholly Cheeseballs!!! This was absolutely freakin awesome! Let’s me start by saying, based off the cover I was thinking semi raunchy ménage, BUT NOOOOOO, what you get is a well executed , sexy, sweet, enthralling triad love story. This has got to be in my top list of favorite ménage/triad/mmf. I loved her, them, the supporting characters I was fully invested in every page.
This was a Cinderella retelling, but definitely an adult edition 🔥. This book was steamy as heck! It is a MMF romance, with two prince charmings who love each other and also fall in love with Ashe and want to include her into their relationship.
This was definitely insta love, which I often find to be bleh, cheesy, and unrealistic but that is just my personal opinion on the insta love trope, yet I didn't mind it in this story because they were passionate more than obsessive in seeking the heroine and it added to the passion and steam between the three of them individually and together. There weren't issues of jealously or drama in the relationship which I enjoyed and I also enjoyed the plot with the twists and turns and of course our guaranteed HEA!
This book wasn't just erotica, it had a lot of emotion and there was a solid storyline. Overall, this was an enjoyable read that I could not put down!

Elijah's a killer. An assassin. And more recently a bodyguard for the heir to a huge media conglomerate. He's been trained his whole life to be a weapon. So he never expected to find love in the arms of his protectee, Bastian.
Sebastian lives a prince's life. He's got responsibilities. Obligations. The last thing his straight-laced father wants is for him to fall in love with someone unsuitable. And in his father's mind, Elijah is definitely unsuitable. But Bastian is unwilling to give his love up. But he and Elijah are willing to let someone else in. So long as they can find the perfect princess to make their duo into a trio.
Ashe is living a fairy tale life. Only it's the kind of fairy tale that features familial abuse, neglect, and horrible step family. She's constantly belittled and berated. Her only escape is land surrounding her magnificent family home. After another argument, Ashe is in need for some relief when she encounters two smoking hot men by her favorite lookout.
The sparks fly. Passions soar. But there's parental machinations in play. And will the former assassin, the media prince, and the neglected stepdaughter get their happily ever after?

This is a very steamy erotic romance. It's also one of my favorite kinds of romance to read -- an equal, polyamorous triad. There's lots of heated sex scenes, and yes, swords do cross in this. You can definitely see hints and call outs to Cinderella. Ashe even loses her shoe at one point. But it's far enough away from the fairy tale that there are still some surprises.
I liked Bastian and Elijah a lot. Especially Elijah. There was a lot of great consent in this, especially when it came to Ashe and her choice in being a part of the relationship. I didn't warm to Ashe quite as much as I did the boys. I found her a little too much of a "Poor little rich girl." She did things that were a bit thoughtless toward the staff. I basically didn't love her.
There's some twists and the plot flows fairly well. I felt there was a bit of ending fatigue, but that's me.
Ultimately I enjoyed this novel so it gets:
Four Stars.

Loved this modern, erotic spin on the classic Cinderella tale. Ashe meets Sebastian and Elijah in the forest one day and the attraction among the 3 of them is instant and undeniable. However, they soon discover that Ash'e's stepmother and sister and Sebastian's father have plans for Sebastian that don't include Ashe. Ever After is steamy, romantic and intriguing - I found it difficult to put down. This is the first book I've read by Eden French, but I will definitely be reading more in the future.
