I have not read any other books in this series. Timber Falls is a typical small tow, ripe with gossip, which Starla has been the topic. She left her husband but has a new residual reminder of him. Sawyer visits the library every Thursday, just to see her, but has his own struggles. I thought Sawyer was such a sweetie and instantly had a crush on him. I loved what he did for Starla, it was so romantic. I liked how their relationship evolved and how he was willing to let her go even though it was killing him. Starla discovers that small towns aren' t so bad because behind the gossip are more people that care.
