This is a beautifully illustrated picture book designed for girls about puberty, but not in any actual factual way. It's designed to just make them feel good about being girls and to know that eventually some vague things will happen. Lovely art, but the girls are all beautiful and it doesn't actually provide any real information. It touches on things like that you have a "nest" inside and could someday be a mother if you choose. If you are looking for a book explaining puberty and such, keep looking. If you want a pretty book that celebrates very feminine girls, this will be a good fit.
