This is such a cute romcom! It’s about Zoe and her online dating adventures. The book was well written and funny. I’m glad that it worked out for her in the end. I definitely enjoyed it!

I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher through netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book is well written and the characters are described well. I absolutely adored Robbies character. This book has LGBTQ representation. It is set in London, England and mentioned France. I enjoyed this book. I can't wait to read more books by this author in the near future. This ebook is in stores for $1.99 (GBP).

This was a such a fun read, especially if you’re looking for a feel-good romance. The characters were funny which I really enjoy in a book. I recommend it.

Dating is hard, just ask Zoe. She’s a chef, cat lover and gym junkie. And had her heart stomped on by love. She needs new strategy to tackle the love-finding scene. Her ferocious casual dating soya chef convinces her the solution is online. Zoe needs more strategy and constructs a plan around the zodiac and online dating. After many laugh-out-loud moments (to the reader) mostly mortifying if you lived the moments she gives up. Without spoiling the story for you, happy to say she does (and most of the close friends) find romance and a HEA.

Thank You, Next by Sophie Ranald is a contemporary romantic comedy novel. The main character, Zoe, is a chef who has been on her fair share of horrible dates and is thinking of becoming a cat lady as her cat Frazzle is the best man in her life.

As Zoe is about to give up getting one too many private part pictures sent to her on her online dating site a friend suggests lining up her dates by their zodiac signs. Zoe’s dates still have their ups and downs as she searches for the man that may be her perfect match.

I have to say I was not really that big of a fan of this book finding it ended it a bit meh so I began thinking it had the perfect title as when done my thought was thank you, next! It did have it’s funny moments but to be honest the bad dates kept on and on and when I thought I picked up a romance I was beginning to wonder when that would come into play. In the end I just wished this one had more balance and focused a bit more on the relationship that came about and not try to only focus on being humorous.

I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley.

The premise of this book was interesting however, I had a very hard time connecting with the story while ignoring all the silly cliches that we are well aware of about dating in the modern world. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this one but I'm sure there are people out there who would like the story and will connect with the main character's journey.

DNF

I liked the first part of the book where she started going on the dates and they were epic fails.

Sadly about part way thru the book I got very bored. The synopsis promised a light hearted and fun book.

It went from a book about dating to a book with a relationship and the guy was using her. She couldn’t speak for herself and was a push over/needy.

I made myself continue reading to about 80% and the book never got any better.
I requested this book because it promised a light hearted and fun read but sadly I am about 80% into this book and had to stop reading.

This book just wasn’t for me and the synopsis to me was misleading.

This book was exactly what I was expecting it to be. Sophie Ranald always provides a heartwarming and funny story, and this was no different. The characters were so loveable and I fell in love with them instantly. The love story was heartwarming and left me wanting more. This book was a pleasure to read and I can't wait to see what Sophie Ranald writes next.

This was supposed to be a laugh out loud romcom book. I have to say that there were very few laugh out loud moments for me in this book, which seemed to be a bit too wordy for me. I found myself skipping through some portions of the book when I got bored with all of the wordiness. It was not quite interesting enough for me even though I read it up until the end. I also found it a little ridiculous to insert a D&D dialogue when they formed the D&D group. I don't mind that there was supposed to be a D&D game within the story, but actually having a play through more than once was just ridiculous to me.

Not much romance in the book, not that much humor also. Entertaining enough that I finished it though. It was nice that others found the book very entertaining. It just did not hit the spot for me. Gratifying ending though.

There were a lot of positives to this book, the writing is great and I really enjoyed the main character, Zoe. My only issue was that it felt really slow in the beginning. Its a very predictable ending but isn't that why we love Romcoms?! Overall, I enjoyed the story and there were some great laugh out loud moments too!

I have to admit that I had a hard time getting on board with the astrological set-up of the book at the beginning (it felt a bit too contrived) but just like any of Sophie Ranald's. books it was charming and funny!

Even if I found it quite funny I found the characters a bit underdeveloped and the story fell flat.
Not my cup of tea.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

The synopsis sounded absolutely like something I would love so I was very excited to receive an eARC of this book. However after reading it, I felt a bit unsatisfied. Dani was definitely my favorite character, and the conversations between Dani and Zoe were hilarious! But I did feel like the rest of the story fell a bit flat for me, I would've loved to see a bit more character progression from Zoe.

Thank you to NetGalley and the author for providing me with an eArc in return for a honest review.

Awwwww this book!! Gah- as frustrating as it was it was at times it was funny. I really enjoyed reading about all of the dating mishaps that Zoe went through. Like the audacity of some of her dates was downright hilarious- how she stuck around for some of her dates was beyond me. I would have ran for the high hills!! How could she have SUCH BAD LUCK?? At that point I would have settled with being a crazy old lady with 1000 cats to not have to go through that again. Not only was it romantic but it was perfectly paced for me.. read it in one sitting! I also loved Zoe's relationship with Dani- through thick and thin they were there for eachother without judgement which I loved. Reason why this isn't a 5 star- it ended so fast. The big bang wasn't there- it was like here you go and that's it. I would have loved more development and more HEAT!!! WHERE IS THE HEAT?? :P

Thank You, Next was filled with so many awkward, but highly entertaining, dates. In it, you will meet Zoe. She is a chef at The Ginger Cat and she actually owns a cat named Frazzle. She hasn't had the best romantic life because she has been so busy with work. Plus, she is still practically new to London due to moving there 6 months ago. So it was high time to jump back into the dating pool.

Now the dates were sometimes super funny and other times they were extremely awkward. I ended up liking them all because I couldn't stop laughing no matter what. It was like each horrific date ended up making Zoe a bit stronger when it comes to relationships and dating. Like she started to figure out what she liked/disliked in a person with each experience.

In the end, it was a really cute book that I had a lot of fun diving into.

This was a cute novel that followed Zoe as she gets back into the world of online dating. Some of the scenarios she runs into were funny and others were just a bit icky. She ends up deciding to date according to her star sign, so this is a cute book for those who are into astrology (which isn't me but I still thought it was an entertaining read). It was a bit predictable and had a bit too much about Dungeons and Dragons for me to follow along for some portions.

Overall, it was an entertaining and quick read about the struggles of online dating!

A huge thank you to NetGalley and Bookoture for the gifted e-book in exchange for my honest opinion!

Loved the concept of this book, took a while to get through but was worth the persistence.
The characters were particularly likeable and I loved the work relationship that themed throughout.
