A little confusing and overall predicable but the author has a great writing style that is very easy to read.

Grace isn't content to stay in one place for very long. She decides it's time to return home and face some demons from her past. One of those demons is Grace's ex-boyfriend, Sutton. Grace broke his heart years ago and she's long overdue for giving him an apology. Instead of speaking to Sutton, Grace first meets Sutton's wife, Campbell, who has a creepy likeness to Grace. And what's even creepier? Their daughter's name is Grace. Adult Grace finds that the present-day Sutton is a much different version of the Sutton from her past. Grace has some serious suspicions that things are very wrong in Campbell and Sutton's marriage, and that Campbell may be in trouble if she says married to this monster.. Can Grace save Campbell from Sutton?
Minka Kent is quickly becoming a go-to thriller author for me. This is the third book I've recently read by her and I enjoyed it. Even though Grace seemed like she may be an unlikable character (she admittedly liked destroying perfect things), she redeemed herself in many ways. This was a quick read with a good plot and no one was as they seemed.

I found the story very enjoyable and entertaining. I would recommend this book..I would give it 4.5 our of 5 stars. I love all her books. She great story teller and writer.

The Watcher Girl by Minka Kent is a thrilling psychological suspense which will grip you from the first page.
A Gripping, Page turning thriller.

A thriller that seemed predictable at times and characters whose lives were intertwined together should keep you guessing. Knowing the answers takes away from the thriller itself.

I can always count on Minka Kent's books to be great thrillers that will keep me reading long past bedtime. Some surprising twists and a creepy stalker feel made an enjoyable read for me.

Not as good as her other books. Not so much a thriller. The main character was extremely unlikable in my opinion.

I haven't read much by Ms Kent before, but did enjoy this one. The book was interesting, and even though I didn't particularly care for the main character, Grace's personality, the rest of the book was entertaining until the end. Recommended.

This is the follow up to Memory Watcher and while Watcher Girl can be read as a stand alone, I enjoyed having the back story on all the characters. This is a fast paced thriller with a surprise ending, however I felt like it was slightly repetitious to the first book. The author builds suspense over time, weaving a confusing trail of clues until the big twist in the end. Thank you Netgalley, Thomas & Mercer, and the author for this eARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was a wholly average thriller. It was easy to get into (didn’t require an adjustment period), engaged me throughout, and had somewhat likeable characters. Nothing was too surprising, no major shocking twists, but fun to read. Great for a vacation/the beach!

This was an excellent read. I think Minka Kent does this style of writing the best and a new book of hers is always a great read.

Quick read and good characters, but wanted a little more from it. I didn’t find it very thrilling and I don’t think it’ll be a very memorable read for me.

Honestly I don’t know what to think of this book, it was interesting but a bit of strange. I did not like Grace a lot. Yup, not sure about it.

#TheWatcherGirl Thank you #NetGalley for the ARC. I think I was at a disadvantage not realizing there was a book before this. It was hard to root for the main character as she was not very likable, nor was the rest of her family initially, but as I believe that may have been the author's intent I pressed on. The Twist was predictable for me, but the story was quick and fast paced for an escape read.

This book is interesting, fast-paced and intriguing. Good for a quick read without overthinking it too much because the premise is not very solid.

Yet again a good book! I love this author and all of her reads and she did not disappoint again. I wouldn’t necessarily consider it a thriller which is most definitely my favorite category but I don’t regret reading it. I personally would have loved for it to be longer the plot does not really seem realistic but it was fast pace which I love but when it ends too soon I don’t like that.

Our protagonist Grace showed up unannounced to her estranged father's doorstep but unfortunately that was the most exciting thing about this book.
I feel so bad writing DNF on a gifted review copy and I love the author but I just couldn't get in to this book :(
The twist felt forced and predictable from the start and overall, it fell flat for me, perhaps because I have high expectations of the author and genre.

I have read every book by this author and once again she has a winner. Loved the story and it kept me guessing.

This book was great! I highly recommend it. It was a non stop page turner! For sure will read more by this author!

The Watcher Girl is my sixth book by this author. This book is a psychological thriller.
The narrator is 30 year old Grace McMullen (1st person POV). Her job as an internet sanitizer (removing things online) was so unique and fascinating.
She returns home to her dad's house after many years away. She has come back to apologize to her ex, Sutton.
This book is connected to The Memory Watcher. However it can be read as a standalone.
There were so many intriguing characters in this book including Grace, Sutton and his new wife Campbell. I also really enjoyed Grace's sister Rose. And her father's girlfriend, Bliss.
This was an enjoyable read with lots of short chapters. My only real issue is that a certain part was a bit too predictable. But that said the story kept my attention, the characters were very interesting, and the ending was very good.
