i have been anticipating this book since i interviewed Emily a year ago. Boone was a swoony hero. This was the perfect escape. I will be featuring this book in a future episode.

Boone and Hannah are both reeling from separate tragedies which makes them kindred spirits of sorts and together, they both continue on the path to healing. Since they are at different stages in their grief and healing, the story has an aura of sadness around it that made it feel...heavy.
I loved Boone, thought he was the perfect book boyfriend in just about every way, kind and hot and compassionate. There were, at times, too many characters to keep track of if you haven't read the other books in the series but overall it was a good story with solid writing.
I just never fully connected to the story the way I wanted, or was hoping, to.

I received an e-ARC through NetGalley and the publisher I loved most of this book and was almost certain that I would give it 5 stars. It wasn't until the end that I had doubts [Although, I an giving it 4 and a half stars, I am rounding it down to 4 stars, since I can't overlook this obvious error. In one of the last chapters, it is mentioned that the paternal grandparents are suing for custody, but there is no mention or explanation of what happened regarding this custody bottle. (hide spoiler)] Had this been discussed, this would have been my most favorite book of the Eternity Springs series; but by not mentioning anything was a huge oversight. Regardless, I love Ms. March's books and can't wait to see what is next.

Eternity Springs, Colorado – Present Day

Hannah Dupree has been wandering the United States looking for solace, yet she still can’t forget about the tragedy that has haunted her for three years. She arrives in Eternity Springs as dawn breaks at Lover’s Leap. It would be so easy to end it all there. Her misery. Her life. As Hannah contemplates jumping, a strange man in a motorcycle roars up and distracts her. His name is Boone McBride, and his presence is calming. He invites her to breakfast and takes her to his home, where he offers her a place to stay for a few days in a cottage not far from his house. Hannah agrees to stay for a few nights, but she plans to leave before she gets attached to Eternity Springs—and Boone.

Boone knew exactly what Hannah planned to do at Lover’s Leap and his expertise in dealing with troubled people helps him in deescalating the situation. Boone has his own issues, one that led him to leave his lifelong home in Texas several years ago. He and his wife were unable to have children and planned to adopt. But a last-minute change by the baby’s mother left them with no child—and his wife was devastated. She committed suicide and it has haunted him. Just a couple of days before Hannah arrived, Boone learned that a baby abandoned by its mother had a note with it. The note said that she wanted Boone to raise and adopt the baby. He’s grappling with it, mainly because he suspects who the mother is and he feels like if he turns it down, he’s failing her…again.

As readers can tell from the early chapters of reading BOONE, Hannah and Boone are both tragically marred by what has happened to them. She does tell him early on that her two sons drowned, but she doesn’t let him know the circumstances. Boone doesn’t tell Hannah about the baby he has been asked to adopt. He fears the idea of talking about the baby would scare her away. Besides, her plan is to stay only a few days. There will be a wedding the coming weekend in Eternity Springs and Boone’s relatives will be descending on the little town in Colorado. Boone asks Hannah (and she agrees) to be his “plus one” for the wedding to ward off his mother’s matchmaking shenanigans. As Boone and Hannah get to know one another, they start to have feelings for each other. But she is about to leave, right? Boone will be going to Texas to get the baby right after the wedding. Then, he learns the nanny that was hired had an accident and will be unable to help him once he returns to Colorado. He looks to Hannah for help. Will she accept?

BOONE is an uplifting tale that has two people still hurting and haunted by the past coming together to heal themselves. Many people have made a home in Eternity Springs and all have encountered Celeste, the owner of Angel’s Rest, a resort and spa that has helped bring tourists to the small town. Celeste is a bit of a celestial herself. Is she an angel in disguise? She always seems to be there when someone is experiencing an emotional crisis and she helps guide them through it. In BOONE, how does Celeste bring together Boone and Hannah? Will Hannah finally tell the full—and tragic—tale of what happened to her children? Will Boone adapt to having a baby in his life? And finally, will Hannah be a part of the new family?

During the darkest times of winter, it’s always good to pick up something that leaves you good and warm inside. With BOONE, this is that book you will want to pick up to help you through the coldest season.

This is another great book in the series about three cousins finding their soulmates. Boone lost his wife to suicide a number of years ago, after an adoption fell through. He ran away from his friends and family and made a new home for himself in Eternity Springs Colorado. One day he stops at Lover’s Leap, seeing a women beyond the fence. Hannah lost her family in a drowning accident three yers prior and has been running ever since. Sensing a kindred spirit, Boone surreptitiously offers help, which Hannah accepts. The story develop from there. I really like the way Ms March develops her characters in these books. They have unique personalities, and speak with words that evoke the feelings you would expect from someone in their situations. I could feel Hannah’s grief and sense of longing for her lost family. Boone also woks through some lingering issues, and together they grow and progress. But don’t despair, this is a very hopeful and positive story. Boone is a wonderful character, not without his foibles, but determined in what he wants and how to get it. Hannah works on her grief and grows in the process, and in the developing love showered on her by Boone. It’s really a wonderful, lovely story. I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. This is my freely given, honest review.

Oh and you might need tissues, this book deals with some heavy issues of loss.

Emily March has done it again, writing a powerful story of life, love, forgiveness and redemption.

Her characters are multi-faceted and her descriptions make you empathize with them. You feel the heat of the Texas sun and the cool of the Colorado mountains. You feel the pain of loss and cheer at second chances.

Boone recognises despair when he first meets Hannah. Together they face demons from their past, providing support for each other to be able to move forward, relying on each other.

Boone McBride is in Eternity Springs to lick his wounds and to earn his angel wings. He sees his opportunity when he meets Hannah on the railing at the edge of Lover’s Leap. Boone manages to charm Hannah off the ledge and convinces her to stay in Eternity Springs for a while. He even has a handy cottage available on his land.

Hannah was a very sweet, kind woman, with a ton of heartache. Boone knew that heartache all too well. They were attracted to each other on more than just a physical level. Something drew them together and they found some peace in their friendship. Boone was making a lot of headway towards earning his angel wings, and Hannah had to decide if he was worth breaking out of her comfort zone for.

This book covered some difficult topics, and it was quite an emotional read for me. Boone and Hannah were both very well-developed characters and showed admirable growth. I was very invested in both of their struggles.

Thank you to the author and Netgalley for providing me with a copy of the book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wow! This was by far my favorite book of the series so far. March really dug down into the emotions of these two characters. She brought Hannah back from the depths of so much pain that she was ready to kill herself. Boone was key in Hannah dealing with her grief and moving on. His character had been there before. Not only did he understand and empathize with her, he used his feelings to slowly pull Hannah back from the edge. I wish my brain could dig down deeper into their psyches, but it's not gonna happen.
March's writing is superb and Boone is a prime example of just what she can do with the written word. Boone is emotional and extremely moving. She made Boone so willing to show his vulnerabilities that it moved me to tears. Excellent book!

Boone McBride is living in Eternity Springs working as a family lawyer. He left his home, family, and career behind in Texas after a court case left him devastated. He is rebuilding his life and is quite happy in the small town until one day he gets a call from an old friend. Boone’s life is about to change and in a big way. He takes some time to reflect on his decision and when driving home he comes up on a woman who looks like she might just jump off a cliff at Lovers Leap. He pulls over and something inside him wants to protect her. A good friend recently told him he can be “the light” in someone’s life, and this may just be his chance.

Hannah Dupree has left her home and her life behind three years ago after a devasting tragedy and is feeling displaced and is wondering if this is all her life will ever be. When she pulls over on the side of the highway at Lovers Leap, she is contemplating what her next step literally will be. When a handsome stranger pulls over, Hannah has no idea how this man and this small town will change her life forever.

Boone and Hannah so us just how when we think the road has ended, there is always another. This is a story of second chances, new beginnings and when all hope is lost, there is light right around the corner. This story was heart wrenching, yet heart warming and it was hard to put this novel down as I got wrapped up in these characters from the beginning of the book. It was also like coming home again to Eternity Springs as we also get to catch up with past characters and of course Celeste Blessing is the heart of this story as well. This has been one of my all-time favourite series and I am a huge fan of Emily March’s writing. Thank you so much to the author, Emily March, St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley for an advanced copy of the book to review. It was an amazing story! Boone is a lawyer who needed to make some lifestyle changes to reclaim the man he used to be. He is a great friend, has a way with the ladies and appears to be living a charmed life but that is only what he wants others to see. He is trying to leave his painful past where it belongs when destiny brings Hannah into his life and he knows that she is a kindred soul.

Hannah is still struggling with a devastating loss that still haunts her on a daily basis. She feels alone and isolated until Boone comes into her life and offers her compassion and understanding as he gives her hope for the future and helps her heal from her past.

Boone and Hannah’s journey is both heartbreaking and inspiring. They have both endured so much which has shaped their lives but with love and friends they prove that anything can be overcome.

Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas—Boone is the third book in this trilogy by Emily March. On an early summer morning, Boone McBride spots a person standing too close to the edge on Lover’s Leap. Fearing the person may slip, perhaps on purpose, he eases his motorcycle into the parking lot and slowly approaches. Hannah Dupree has lived out of her car for the past few years, ever since the tragedy that cost her her family. This is the third anniversary of their loss and she is despairing. Perhaps Boone has come along at the precise right time.

As they talk, Boone tells Hannah about his loss from suicide, and, as they talk he convinces Hannah to visit Eternity Springs, where hearts come to heal. He even offers her the use of his lakeside cottage while she is there, as well as offering himself as someone who will listen. He, in turn, opens up to Hannah about his losses. He also asks Hannah to accompany him to his cousin Jackson’s wedding. If he has a date his mother just might not play matchmaker.

But matchmaking is not at the forefront of Boone’s thoughts. Boone has big things in the works, things he could really use a very close friend and confidant to help him. For Hannah, being that person for Boone is a big first step out from under her cloud. But this melding may just be what heals them both.

This is a very good book, part of a lovely series of hope and healing. I did enjoy this book and I do recommend it!

Hannah is searching. Searching for something better out of life. She has lost everything she has ever loved. She is contemplating ending it all when Boone McBride enters her life. His giving heart and, of course, his magnetism creates a sensation she has not felt in a long time. Will Hannah let Boone in her life or will she let him go?

This is my least favorite type of romance novel. It’s a little too sweet and too dramatic. But, this type of romance has its followers and I totally understand the appeal. It is so nice to have a feel good read without complications or too many surprises. And this story hit me at the right time. I fell head over heels for Boone. He has strength, charisma and he has a huge heart…what is not to love!

Need a feel good charmer! This is it! Great characters and a wonderful setting of Eternity Springs, Colorado makes this story worth your time! Grab your copy today.

I really enjoyed this book and give it 4 1/2 stars. I also did not want to put the book down once I started reading it. This book is very emotional. Both Hannah and Boone need face somethings from their past. Boone is already on his way to that but Hannah is just beginning to live again thanks to Boone. I did have a couple of questions still at the end of this book and also would have liked to have read about a certain scene in the book. I am going to share those below so if you don't want any spoilers don't read anymore of my review.

I really wished the author let us see Jackson's wedding as a person who read his book I really would have liked to see him get married. The author talked a lot about it coming up but than never gave us the actual wedding. I also want to know what happened to Ranger, he seemed to fall off the book after Boone ask Hannah to take him at nights. I also want to know if everything worked out with the adoption in the end. I understand that this is a romance book so there is a happily ever after but I still like these questions answered instead of assuming.

What a beautifully heartbreaking story. I needed my tissue box more than once. Boone and Hannah have both had tragedies in their pasts. It would be understandable, especially for Hannah, to be wary of settling down. But Eternity Springs is a special place where even miracles can happen. I was completely enthralled by this story and I couldn’t put it down! I can’t wait for more from Emily March! 5 stars!

Favorite Quotes:

“I know you’re probably wondering why a single guy built a house this big. You have to understand that we’re wall-to-wall Texans from Memorial Day to Labor Day… I can’t tell you how many times friends or relatives call from the front porch of hell to tell me they’ve had a sudden hankering to see me.” “The front porch of hell?” “Texas in the summertime.”

“What about you? Do you sing?” “Only if I’m trying to scare raccoons away.”

“I mean it, Boone. No more going lawyer on me. You’re too good at it.” “Thank you.” “That wasn’t a compliment.”

“You are looking for a romance battle plan. You got a name for your operation?… It helps. Believe me… Give it a name.” “Did you have a name for your plan to win Gillian?” Jackson asked. “I did. I came up with it when I spied a critter as Gillian and I were hiking the canyon.” He paused dramatically. “Operation Horny Toad.”

Unbelievable… Outmaneuvered by a Yankee. I’m going to have to turn in my cowboy card.

My Review:

I adored this sweet couple and their supportive and tender romance. Their storylines were refreshingly free of contrived conflict and overarching angst, which I find so tedious. Although both main characters had uniquely compelling and heartbreaking back-stories, their relationship with each other was thoughtful, caring, and eventfully sizzling. Ms. March’s engaging and smooth writing style was easy to follow with relevant and realistic modern-day issues, family drama, wry humor, amusing levity, and witty banter.

This is the final book in the trilogy and I was expecting much of the same from previous stories – an enjoyable, light read. But what I found with this book was a deeply emotional read. The novel focuses on the inner journey of both Boone and Hannah – a woman he meets who is complete overcome with emotional trauma. As they help each other work through the tragedies of their past, we see two characters emerge stronger for having known each other.
Not my typical romance read (I’m an inspirational romance reader), but I quite enjoyed the personal journeys each character went through.

This was a terrific conclusion to the McBrides of Texas subset of the Eternity Springs series. It is a story of love, loss, and healing. Boone is one of the three McBride cousins who inherited the land called Enchanted Canyon back in Texas. Boone doesn't spend much time there, having moved to Eternity Springs, Colorado, after a devastating loss sent him looking for peace and escape. After five years, he's gained the reputation of a smooth-talking, charming ladies' man, but also a man with a big heart. He's ready to move past the pain of his past and is advised that the best way to do so is to "be a light" for someone else.

Hannah has been on the run from her past for three years. After a tragedy took everything that mattered from her, she feels no hope of happiness in her future. She has reached the end of her rope and contemplates her options as she stares at Eternity Springs from the overlook at Lover's Leap.

When Boone sees Hannah standing there, he's compelled to stop. As soon as he gets close to her, he recognizes the pain in her eyes. I loved how Boone stepped into her circle and began talking to her, distracting her from her thoughts. Some of his conversation was pretty ridiculous, but he was desperate to pull her back to the land of the living. I loved how he talked to her about Eternity Springs and encouraged her to explore the town. He even goes as far as to offer to rent her the guest cabin on his property. Boone is quite the steamroller, and he soon has her settled in and ready to explore.

I enjoyed the development of the relationship between Hannah and Boone. The connection is there from the start, thanks to their similar pasts. Boone is further along the road to healing and quickly realizes that Hannah is someone very special. I loved seeing how his kindness and empathy helped Hannah begin to live again. There is a little bump in the road when someone from Boone's past throws a life-changing curveball into his world. It is something that Hannah feels that she isn't equipped to handle. I appreciated how Boone tries so hard not to push her too quickly out of her comfort zone. As a result, she adjusts faster than she expects.

I especially enjoyed Boone's determination to romance Hannah. When Boone makes a decision, he goes all-in, and this was no exception. There were some sweet scenes of them together, from stargazing to glamping. Hannah helps Boone out of several crises that also serve to bring them closer together. I loved seeing the effects of Boone's attention as Hannah's formerly dark existence began to add color and light. Like Boone, when Hannah makes a decision, she commits fully. Their big moment at the end is fantastic, with a fun twist that I didn't see coming. I laughed out loud at Boone's reaction, especially his comment about his cousins. There's one last crisis they have to deal with, but by doing so together, they banish the last of their ghosts and move ahead in a life full of love.

I've never read any of the Eternity Springs books but will have to do so. I'd like to know more about Celeste, who plays an integral part in all three McBride books. I liked what I read about the town and its people and look forward to getting to know more about them. I especially enjoyed the way the women of the town rallied to help Boone with an emergency.

There wasn't much time spent in Enchanted Canyon, but that doesn't mean Tucker and Jackson were left out of the book. Both of them have their moments to shine. I loved how Boone called them for advice when he panicked a little about his feelings for Hannah. They provided an excellent combination of teasing, which he deserved, and truth, which he needed.
