"Boone" (Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas Book 3) by Emily March is a fabulous read. I absolutely loved Boone and Hannah's story. This was a wonderful addition to the Eternity Springs series as well as The McBrides of Texas series. This story is full of romance, interesting and entertaining characters, family, friends, small-town life, overcoming tragedy, new beginnings, and more. I can't wait to see what happens next with all the entertaining characters in Eternity Springs. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, small-town life, family, and series.
Once again, Emily March has created a story that just makes you wish you really could visit the fictional town of Eternity Springs. Even though both main characters, Boone and Hannah have faced more than their fair share of tragedy, somehow in the peaceful serenity of Eternity Springs, they are both able to move forward with their lives and find happiness and love again. Maybe at times things just wrapped up too neatly but in today's crazy world, maybe it's what we need right now!
While this book is part of a series, readers can definitely read this as a stand alone novel. However, I would definitely recommend reading them in order simply because they characters frequently show up in other books.
I enjoyed this heartwarming and emotional small town romance with characters you feel like you know and want to be their friend in this must-read Eternity Springs:The McBrides of Texas book three. As soon as I started reading I was captivated and became totally immersed in all that was happening in Eternity Springs, Colorado. I loved the instant attraction, undeniable chemistry and repartee between Boone McBride and Hannah Dupree. This book is for anyone who enjoys well-crafted contemporary fiction that pulls at the heart-strings. I received an advance reader copy of "Boone" from the publisher via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.
A tender romance, set in Eternity Springs, brings healing and redemption. Boone McBride is an overachiever and is known for getting his way. When a blast from the past upends his plans, Boone finally discovers that there are limitations to what he can do on his own. Unexpectedly meeting Hannah, Boone recognises anguish and brokenness when he sees them. In what seems like a desperate situation, he reaches out to Hannah and bit by bit her breaks through her barriers. When his plans go awry, Boone turns to Hannah to help him get through an emergency, and she proves to be more resourceful and helpful than he could have ever anticipated. This romance is emotional and painful in parts but ultimately the characters find that when they stand together, they are stronger and more able to face the future. Although I have purchased other books by this author, this is the first book in this series that I have read. I enjoyed it and loved Boone's character. I felt Hannah's heartache and pain and appreciated that he had the patience to wait for her to spill the truth about the tragedy in her life. The supporting characters in this book seemed a little too sweet at times, but they did fulfil their role in this romance. I received a copy of this novel through NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.
This is the story of Boone, a transplanted Texan living in Eternity Springs, Colorado. He relocated following the death of his wife and by the loss of a particularly personal case as a prosecuting attorney. His move to Colorado has helped him almost heal his broken and scarred heart. He meets Hannah at a pull-off overlooking the valley where Eternity Springs is located. He recognizes the despair in Hannah's eyes and knows that she could use a friend, as well as the peace he found in his small town. The journey to wholeness will pit them against their deepest fears and test their inner strength.
I always enjoy reading Emily March's books. Between the covers of her novels, her readers will be introduced to interesting characters who often battle the odds on the way to finding their HEA ending. Ms. March does not need to use graphic language or intimate bedroom scenes to make her books entertaining. The quality of her writing is almost a dying art, certainly not found in most of today's newer authors who are self-published. Great writing, wonderful characters and thought provoking plots are trademarks of this author and this book does not disappoint.
5 stars!
Such a sweet romance.
Boone and Hannah have both been through personal tragedies and hardships. They are both strong characters that balance each other.
This can be read as a stand alone but reading the previous book will add to the experience.
I recommend this for fans of sweet, low heat romances.
Thanks go to the publisher and Net-Galley for a complimentary copy of Boone: Eternity Springs by Emily March. I voluntarily agreed to read and review this novel prior to publication. My opinions are my own, and no one has influenced them.
Boone: Eternity Springs is a great addition to The McBrides of Texas series. The pacing kept me engaged from the first page to the last. The book is well written with engaging characters and a plot that will touch your heart.
Hannah Dupree’s character is such a tortured soul with personal losses few can handle, but she is determined to do it. While taking a cleansing journey, she stumbles upon the enchanting town of Eternity Springs. She feels it’s a place of solace, a place where she can heal.
Boone McBride is a compelling hero who hides his pain behind his smooth-talking ways and astonishing good looks. When he accepts custody for an infant from a young woman he believes he failed, he’s determined to be the best father possible. Although he has a lot of complications in his life, he can’t resist Hannah. In her, he senses another wounded soul, and he wants to help her find peace.
The romance between Hannah and Boone is lovely. Since both of them are recovering from their troubled past, they fit together from the beginning, and I truly wanted them to find their happy ending.
If you enjoy contemporary romance that has a character-driven plot with the amazing characters from the Eternity Springs series, then you will love Boone as much as I did. While this can easily be read as a stand-alone novel, I encourage you to read Ms. March’s Eternity Springs series. It’s amazing. Happy reading!
Life is not without heartache and tragedy and Boone and Hannah have had more than their fair share. No one really knows why Boone retreated from his former life for the isolation of a small town in the Colorado Rockies as he keeps it all inside. He longs for quite, peace and to be left to live out his life by himself. Hannah really just wants to be left alone and has lost the desire to do much more than barely get by. When they meet she just goes along because it takes too much energy to fight back and resist the ever growing pull towards each other. Slowly as they start to come back to life and happiness is in sight the past rears it’s ugly head and threatens their happiness. Will they find their HEA? Can they move forward and start anew and let love in again? It’s a lovely heartwarming well written story that is a pleasure reading. I sat down to read this charming book in the midst of a snowstorm. Next thing I knew it was hours later and I had a big satisfied smile on my face and in my heart. This was my first in the series and don’t feel I missed out by not having read the first two, but do now want to read them. This was a lovely heartwarming enjoyable feel good story.
This is the third book in the McBrides of Texas series and the eighteenth in the Eternity Springs series. While you don't have to read these books in order, it really does help since these are stories about one large and extended family, and having some background does help, but is not required. I have read several of the books in this series but have only read the first book in the McBrides series, somehow I missed Tucker's story (but will remedy that soon since there are hints on what happened to him in this book).
I know the first book is set in Texas around a plot of land that three cousins inherited from a relative. However, this book is set in Colorado in Eternity Springs. That did cause a little confusion for me at first because I did expect the story to happen in this little part of Texas. But not to worry, there are many references and even a journey to the town at the end of the book.
Boone is grieving the loss of his wife and has moved from Fort Worth back to Eternity Springs. Hannah is also mourning the loss of her family from a tragic accident. When her story unfolds it is heartbreaking to read. These two find each other (well Boone finds Hannah at Lover's Leap) and despite the baggage that weighs them both down, they find comfort with each other. There are several unexpected twists, some humorous situations, and definitely love.
I have really enjoyed all of the books in this series that I have read. This book is no different and is perfect when you want something sweet and light to read. Granted there are some tough scenes about Boone and Hannah's past, but it defines who they are and how far they have come in their lives. I found myself chuckling in many spots at the various predicaments that Boone finds himself smack dab in the middle, but those situations help round out the book.
Overall we give this 4 paws up and now I have to go back and find Tucker's story that I missed.
This book is part of a series and can be read as a stand alone, but prior events are alluded to and might make more sense if read in order. This is the story of Boone McBride a former hotshot attorney in Ft. Worth who now makes his home in Eternity Springs, Colorado. Boone has discovered that Eternity Springs is a good place to heal from the death of his wife and the loss of children. Early one morning he comes across a person at Lover's Leap and when he stops to offer assistance, he recognizes the look of despair on Hannah's face.
Hannah has traveled the last three years trying to outrun the ghosts of her dead daughters and her husband. When she stops at Eternity Springs, Hannah realizes that she has reached the end of her rope.
Read the book to see if Eternity Springs can bring the two lost souls together for a lifetime along with the love and care of a baby and a puppy. This was a wonderful and emotional story.
Thanks to NetGalley, Emily March and St. Martin's Paperbacks I was allowed to read an ARC of this book. This is my freely given opinion of this book and all ideas expressed here are my own.
3.5 stars
Boone McBride has been a consistent secondary character in both the Eternity Springs and McBrides of Texas series - it was fun to see him finally get his own book.
We’ve known from the beginning that Boone was a deeper well than he made himself out to be, but here we learn just how deep those still waters run. It was sweet to see him take his experiences and help someone else in the form of Hannah Dupree.
This book is a vehicle for catching us up on where a few of the previous main couples are now, but it was done in a way that was organic to Boone and Hannah’s story. As with all Eternity Springs books, there is an overall message of hope and healing. Some of the hard work is glossed over, but it worked for the message here.
From the references to Boone’s sisters and a couple of other secondary characters mentioned, I don’t think we are done with Eternity Springs or Enchanted Canyon. I am looking forward to seeing where we may be going next.
The cousin's are back, I was so glad to be able to catch up with Tucker, Jackson and now Boone. I really love Celeste she's full of wisdom and guidance and does it in such a way that you don't know what hits you until she's done. I felt this book did deal with some tough subjects but in the end it was worth it. Nothing seems to be off limits with this author and I appreciate that because it makes the characters feel more like friends and less like fictional characters. Hannah has such a big heart and she is dealing with some things and looking for healing. I like that every time I read about Eternity Springs its seems like some one is looking for healing and Eternity Springs is just that place to find that healing. Boone did come off pushy sometimes but its really hard not to like him and see where his heart is. For those who are content sensitive: this book contains non-graphic scenes of sexual content. Overall this book is really good and I could not put it down so worth the read. I can't wait to see who shows up in Eternity Springs next.
Boone is an entertaining and well written romance. Very good plot and character dynamics. A good addition to the series. I received an advance ebook from the publisher and Netgalley and this is my unbiased review.

With his smooth talk, rugged good looks, and deep pockets, native Texan Boone McBride appears to be a man who has it all. Few people know about the heartbreak behind his decision to leave home, family, and career for the isolation of a small town in the Colorado Rockies. Luckily, time and life in Eternity Springs has worked its healing magic upon his wounded soul, so when he meets obviously troubled Hannah Dupree, Boone sees a chance to pay his good fortune forward. Tragedy has taken everything Hannah loves, and her will to keep going is failing. So when Boone strides into her life determined to save her, it’s easier to go along with him than to resist.
This is the third book in the series but is easily read on its own. A lovely second chance romance set in a beautiful location. I think this is my favourite of the series so far. I loved both Boone & Hannah & loved how they both overcame tragedies & heartbreak, the road to their HEA took me on a range of emotions from laughing to crying & I was engrossed from cover to cover
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
This is the third of the Eternity Springs: McBrides of Texas series, but can be read as a stand-alone. Boone McBride happens upon Hannah Dupree at Lovers Leap, and he see a kindred spirit. Both Boone and Hannah have gone through a tragedy and are dealing with the aftermath. Boone is much further along in the grieving process, and feels like he was set into Hannah’s path to be the light that helps her. While he is helping her, they fall for each other. Really likable characters and I was sad to see the series end. I was given an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest opinion.
Boone is a wonderful heartwarming read. I love how positive Boone is and open he is. He will steal your heart as he helps show Hannah it's okay to move on. Hannah is traveling lost after the tragedy's she has faced. Eternity Springs is a special place. It brings people together. Hannah is wonderful and I love how she blossoms with the help of Boone and her new friends. This will own you just a little as you watch the transformations of Hannah and Boone. I loved every moment of this one.
Joyful yet deeply emotional romance
Boone and Hannah are both widowed, and both are still learning to live with their grief. Hannah's wounds are little more fresh and her heart is still bleeding as she finds her way to Eternity Springs just as Boone is offered a second chance at the family he's always wanted, even though he'll have to confront a few scars of his own to close the deal.
This beautifully philosophical story will stay with me for a very long time. I loved the way Celeste gently prodded Hannah back to living her life, and I adored the way the town engulfed Boone with all the support he needed as he embraced his new role in life.
The author deftly brought out both Boone's and Hannah's tragic past histories in a way that made it impossible not to feel empathy and compassion for both of them, while injecting plenty of light-hearted, cheeky humor for balance. These two broken hearts were truly healed together and it was a joy to read their story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This is the the third book in the series however you can read this without reading the first two you will not feel lost. This was a sad book built on tragedy in a small two setting and two people who really needed a chance two start start over and luckily were able to do that with each other, not that it would be easy to jump and do it but it would be doable and Boone was able to convince Hannah that he was the one that would be the one for Hannah and she was able to learn give love a chance again. so a nice second chance story
Boone was a satisfying and heartfelt story. That for the most part I did enjoy reading. But I struggled to get into it and needed a few attempts to really connect with the characters. Yet, once I found that connection, I enjoyed it, and I enjoyed going back to the world of the McBrides and Eternity Springs. As it's full of wonderful and quirky characters, and the romance between Boone and Hannah, and the way they worked as a couple was genuinely nice to read. And I really liked how they were able to support each other and ultimately help each other heal.
So, if you're looking for a sweet, small town, heartwarming romance to read this Christmas period you should certainly check Boone out.
This was an excellent book that dealt with the topics of love and loss and finding your place in the world again. Hannah shows up unexpectedly in Eternity Springs and when Boone finds her at Lover’s Leap, apparently ready to take her own life, she finds a shelter that she never thought possible to find again. Boone accepts Hannah just as she is, a broken woman who needs love and healing. Providing that at his estate in Eternity Springs is easy; not so easy is protecting his heart from her vulnerability that draws him to her. This book drew me in and was a quick read with compelling, magnetic characters in the little town. My favorite character was Celeste Blessing, an older woman who is wise and intuitive about Hannah’s needs and her wants. I thoroughly enjoyed reading as the relationship between Boone and Hannah evolved and I loved the patience that Boone displayed with her. The camping scenes were awesome! I have camping, but I wouldn’t mind “glamping” at all as it’s described in this novel. All in all, this was a satisfying and absorbing romance that allowed me to lose myself in its pages all the way to the end. Fans of romance will enjoy the book and you don’t have to read the other books in the series to enjoy this one.
