I read and received this book for free through Madness to Magic and NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are my own.

“Our timing’s just right to go farther than far.”

Seriously! Are We THERE Yet?! is a self-help picture book for adults who are still trying to figure out their way in life. We often question ourselves if we have taken the “right” path and if that is all life has to offer to us. This book encourages us to grab hold of that inner child who is fearless and to not have any regrets. As I’m going through the struggle myself, this book is a reminder for me to choose to not give power to the negative thoughts in my mind. I choose to live in the now and to take action to do the things I’ve always wanted to do. It doesn’t have to be too extravagant either. It can be as simple as writing a book review like this one after all!

Also, I find the illustrations and the rhyming to be quirky and even empowering. This short and quick book gives me strength to continue my own personal journey and to explore new things one day at a time. I hope it is the same for other readers as well.

“What came before has made me this me. I am exactly who i’m meant to be.”

WOW!! everything about this book was amazing, from the writing to the fonts to the colors!

i’ve been spending way too much time thinking about my future these days and procrastinating actually doing something about it. i keep thinking that maybe life isn’t so great after all but this got me thinking, what if it is? what if i made it great? what if i let go of all my negative thoughts and stopped procrastinating about doing my work and following my dreams and actually did something about it? maybe life was waiting for me to make my life my own and not rely on someone or something else to determine if i want something in life, i’m thinking that maybe if i do, i should just get it!

This is the book that anyone going through a quarter-life or mid-life crises needs to help them get through the day. It starts with the realities we all feel as we work through each hour, day, year... is this it? How often do you ask yourself, when do we get to the "good" part of life? This book brilliantly reminds you that each day has a value on it's own. Celebrate the moment you're in and vanquish your doubts. Life is too short for you to wait for everything to be perfectly aligned to be happy. I loved the drawings and the designs of each page as well.

This is a picture booklet for adults who need a rhyming reminder that .life is not about waiting to get something better, to get somewhere better some time in the future, life is about right now. .We all have just one day to live and that day is today, not two weeks from Monday. We are good at being scared and comparing ourselves to others who seem to be doing better than us but our imperfection is okay.

It only takes a few minutes to finish reading this and the text contains no groundbreaking revelations but it's cutely illustrated. It looks a bit like an airily colored coloring book, It could make a good gift to someone you want to remember that they are good enough as they are,

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an electronic copy to read and review.

This reads like a Dr. Seuss book for adults. Ever wonder when you'll be there in your life? You know - that place where you always thought you'd be at the age you are now? Well guess what - you're there already and this book is the perfect way to remind you of that. It is a little celebration of you and your journey to being THERE.
