This book was such a fun and exciting ride.
I was immediately pulled into this story and loved the way it unravelled. I think it was predictable but that didn't bother me much I just went with it and enjoyed the ride.

This book was so good and kept me guesssing until the end. I flung myself feeling bad for some of the characters that were villains because if the authors writing.

Bethan Phillips is on a mission to kill her elderly husband and take his fortune, only it's proving to be a tad more difficult than she first thought, After a string of failed attempts, how ironic that its a fall that takes him and not one of her carefully plotted accidents. The trouble is, if the police discover his body at the top of a secluded mountain walk, they will start looking into the events leading up to his death and most likely discover the other near misses and inevitably seal her fate.

So instead, Bethan must pretend he is still alive and keep her secret, and those of her past hidden for as long as possible.

The book is told through split narrative, perspectives of Bethan, Melanie and DI Emma Locke and shifts between the present day and the past, helping piece together the background of Bethan's troubled past that may explain some of her vindictive behaviour towards men. There are some pretty dark themes, so perhaps something to bear in mind before reading.

I loved the start of the book, felt that Bethan's slightly Killing Eve feel to it, but I have to admit the 2nd half did lose my interest somewhat. I found the switching between characters and various identities a little bit confusing and as such I felt I lost a bit of the pace.

Overall a good plot with lots of twists and reveals, but didn't quite hit the mark for me - I am a big thriller fan, and this felt more like a murder / crime read for me personally.

Kill Me, Kill Me is an intense read! I love Louise Mullins' writing style - she really pulls you in and gets you hooked on the story.

This book was a bit predictable and formulaic but it’s very engaging and the characters are like able and fun enough that it keeps you sucked in and turning pages through the plot.

This was a fast-paced thriller told through the POV’s of Mel, Bethan and DI Emma Locke. The POV’s were different timelines which was confusing, and it took me a few chapters to understand what was going on. Initially I wasn’t interested in the story and found myself skimming through parts. When everything started coming together, around the middle, when you discover the connection of the characters, I was hooked. All in all, it was an okay thriller with a twist at the end that I didn’t see coming,

I did not know that this was the second book in the series when i requested it. The story is told from several characters points of view and flips back and forth in time. There's three storylines all happeniing at the same once and i found it hard to keep track.The only likeable character was Emma Locke, Bethan was definetly the worst. She was a spoilt bitch who wasn't content with what she had. The story was a little predictable in places. This is an enjoyable read but i also felt that there were parts of the story that were missing.

While this was an easy book to read, it was confusing at times, jumping from present day to the past, and between different characters.  I found most of the characters unlikable, especially Bethan, but I think that's why I kept reading - I wanted to see what else they would do.  I did feel that the ending was a bit of a letdown compared to what had happened.  It was good but not satisfying.

I love the cover of Kiss Me, Kill Me by Louise Mullins. Bethan wants her husband dead. He’s old and rich, the writing is on the wall, right? She has a plan in place but things don’t exactly go the way she wanted them to. I liked the premise of this book quite a lot! It was more than I thought it would be and though its book #2 in a series, you don’t need to have read the first book for this one to make sense.

Just know that the story will bring in Emma Locke and it will jump around a bit.

With that in mind, give this book a whirl if you are a suspense junkie like I am!

This is a good read but it did jump around quite a bit between storylines.
Bethan has been planning on killing her wealthy husband but nothing seems to work. However, when an accident on holiday gives Humphrey a nasty head injury, Bethan thinks he’s dead so runs away.
Back at home she tells people he’s away on business but looking back at photos there was someone watching them just before the accident.
We also have storylines from the past and it’s clear there’s a link to Bethan.
DI Locke comes across a different case but opens up a whole can of worms when she takes Bethan in for questioning.
This is a good read but had something missing to make it a great read.

Wow this book will take you on a twisty road of physiological turns and murder. It was perfect from start to finish and I loved how all the pieces fit together.

Bethan Phillips only goal in life is for her wealthy husband to have an ‘accident’ and she tries multiple times to make this happen. Once he does die (by accident) she must lie and tell everyone he is still alive because someone has witnessed what happened.

When I read the description of this book I knew it would be a winner for me. It took a little bit for me to get into this book, but once I did I couldn’t put it down. At first the different points of view were a bit jarring, but once I got used to it everything was fine.

Oh this was a good read! Murder, mystery and intrigue just oozes out the pages. I enjoyed how the chapters were split up and that style worked really well within this storyline. I enjoy back history especially with a character like Bethany. There's a good few twists in this tale leading to an exciting climax. A very good read.

When I read the synopsis for Kiss Me, Kill Me, I knew it would be my kind of book. Bethan wants to kill her rich, elderly husband so she can live in luxury through his fortune. But after a few failed attempts, it's an accident that ends up taking his life. Pretending he is still alive and away on business, Bethan is unsure how she will cover up all her failed attempts. When DI Emma comes on the scene and starts asking questions, secrets about Bethan's life are revealed with more twists planted into the story.⁣

I have to admit, this book really did start out promising. I was intrigued for the first half of the book but I feel the Then and Now POV's told through both characters just got too confusing in the second half. The author has huge potential though and I would love to read some of her other work.⁣

This story sounded amazing from the blurb and I was excited when I got the opportunity to read it. Unfortunately that is where my excitement ended. I could not get into this story and had trouble following. It was hard for me to finish but I gave it my best shot. I hope others give it chance because not every book is for everyone and I encourage others to form their own opinion.

Emma Locke is an investigator trying to learn the identity of a woman dead, stuffed inside a suitcase on the train tracks. Melanie is a teenager who comes from a rough background trying her best to make it out of her mother’s house. Bethan is a gold digger, who is looking to off her husband and reap the reward of his large insurance policy. All three woman have their paths cross in the most unexpected of ways.

There were three story lines happening at once and I had a really difficult time following as well as trying to decipher how they would all thread together in the end. Overall, I wasn’t drawn into the book as much as I wanted to be. I don’t think any of the main characters were all that likeable - I didn’t mind Emma Locke, but she was kind of blah to me. I found myself skimming through the book just to get to the end because I just couldn’t get invested into the story. There are a few plot twists that I didn’t see coming which is always a plus as I enjoy being caught off guard in a story. This one was a miss for me but I would still recommend the read!

I stayed up to finish this book, but sadly for me it wasnt worth the effort. Though I like stories with different voices, this one just didn't work for me. Sorry
