I thought this book was great! So many practical ideas that are easy to understand and implement. A resource that you can turn to again and again.

Nice that it uses profiles as examples and their experience. Things to consider if using this platform as your main media outlet. A behind the scenes type of look to help you out.
'Instagram Rules' is an amazing book that will not only tell you all the things that you need to know about this social media but also helps you to plan your strategy in order to succeed. The book is full of interesting information and many useful tips. It's great both for beginner users as well as people who have already been using Instagram for some time. I wholeheartedly recommend this book!

I really enjoyed this easy to consume guide. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to get started on Instagram and needs to learn about all the features and even to those that already use it and want to improve their presence.
I've personally been on Instagram for years, so I already knew some of the tips given in this book, but I still got to learn a lot about other aspects of the app and my presence on it that I didn't know. I'll definitely refer to this guide in the future as I try to better my Instagram profiles.
I particularly liked the structure of the book, how fun each section was, the graphics and the design of each page and the "case studies" included at the end of each chapter.
This is a good step by step book which would be very helpful to brand new entrepreneurs who want to get their business started or to the bigger businesses who want to make their businesses appeal to more people by going online in this increasingly digitalized world. If you work in business and/or social media this book is the perfect book for you!
Great primer on Instagram, both for the total newbie to social media marketing as well as someone who's just new to Instagram. Great tips and tricks.
This is a really useful guide for how to create your own brand and build upon it. Unfortunately netgalley archived it even though I was still using it yesterday on netgalley shelf so I did not get to finish it.
I really liked this book and it helped me with my Instagramaccount. It has a lot of interesting information and i liked the way this book was organised.
I would recommend this to everyone who is interested in Instagram and branding.

Great book, which is perfect for a beginner like me to Instagram, really useful tips and advice. Especially useful if you had an online business to promote.

This book has lots of details on how to have a strategy goal, theme, frequency with which to post, how to engage with customers. Many interviews with other companies on how they approach using Instagram. Good resource which probably could be used for any social media engagement.
Some great insight into instagram! Loved the layout of this book and tons of great topics covered, including strategy, goal planning, and branding.
Also had a couple of case study with businesses (like Ben and Jerry's!) who use their Instagrams to connect with fans and who have a great following, chatting with them about how they got to where they are and things they find important to do on instagram.
Definitely recommend for anyone new to instagram or looking to build their following and brand.
It's a great book about Instagram for the very beginners. If you're just starting this book will be good for you but if you have been on the platform for the past year there's no much new information. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

I really liked reading this one! It was super informative, and I was constantly taking notes. I definitely learned a lot. Would totally recommend if you want to step up your Insta game!

An informative book for anyone wanting to promote their work/brand on Instagram with examples from successful Instagrammers. It’s something one would dip into often. The cover is simple yet bright and appealing and the layout within the book is both colourful and readable.
This is a great book for beginners or someone who is starting to expand their brand onto social media. It lays out everything you need to get started and though some of the concepts seem very basic, they are very necessary for laying a solid foundation. The strategies, tips and tricks outlined are very accurate and I believe if someone followed this guide, they could have a very successful social media brand.
As a social media consultant for small businesses, I would recommend this book to anyone starting out and I will actually recommend it to a few of my clients. Everything in this book is what I work on with them and it would be nice for them to have this to reference and follow.
This book builds a brand from inception to planning to posting on Instagram. The principles are interspersed with Q&As with popular brand representatives about their Instagram accounts and strategies.
Cook breaks down aspects of Instagram, such as when to use a story vs. post, when it's appropriate to post multiple images, and hashtag tactics. There are lists of helpful apps to use and tips on how to build your brand and community. I especially liked that the last section of the book focuses on your mental and physical health by encouraging you to not lose sleep or worry too much about Instagram.
The book is colorful and easy to read, with bold headings and bulleted lists to make digesting information easy.
My only issue with the book is that some of the apps listed are either renamed or no longer available. When I tried to download apps, I was unable to find some of them.
