A great book for fantasy fans! This a great sliding door style fantasy with a fantastic other world. The world building is complex and the connection of the real world is multi-layered. It feels like a mash-up of The Ten Thousand Doors of January and The City We Became with a dash of Every Heart a Doorway.

A different kind of fantasy from what I usually read, not y favorite kind, but not because of the book. It was engaging and well written. The story had some contemporary element and felt a bit less epic, so depending on what you like... I would recommend it, but it might not be for everyone!
