Loved Clint + Tara's Story in Book 3!! Leslie North's series are a must read for me when I'm craving romance.

The stories are like romance erotica catnip every time they come out you can’t help a blast through them. I love this offer for consistently releasing this level of awesomeness. So thankful!

The cover made me want to read this book. I love a story were the guy saves the girl but this fell flat for me. It didn't have enough suspense for me to keep turning the pages. I did eventually finish the book but it was a bit of an ordeal. I thought Clint was a bit of a dickhead to be fair, who would leave their kid with a woman that has had her life threatened? No one!

Another great read by a talented author I really enjoyed reading it and will definitely read more and recommend reading it

This book was slightly different to the Leslie North books I have previously read as it was a woman joining a single Dad.
However, the brilliant writing of Leslie North was still there, keeping you entertained and reading.
One thing I love about Leslie North books is that you can pick up any book in any series and read it as a standalone novel.

Protecting His Beautiful Lover is book three in the series by Leslie North. You can read this book as a stand alone, but I loved it as part of a series!

This story is about Clint and Tara's, I really loved this book. I was pulled right into it from the first page. A perfect mix of love, suspense and emotions. Tara and Clint are both very serious about their careers, they end up getting closer while he is her bodyguard. She was threatened because of an environmental bill she is helping to get into legislation. They both have emotional baggage from the past, but can they put everything aside and make room for each other?

Leslie North consistently brings great characters and passionate romance to life. As a big fan of North's, her name provokes an automatic one-click from me. I am always entertained. Highly recommend.

An exciting suspense filled romance story.Clint Buckman is a member of the Soldiers of Fortune security team.He's ex military as are all the men an woman on the team.He's assigned to protect Tara Crumb.The attraction is from the first time he laid eyes on her.Someone wants her dead an it's his job to keep her safe.When his nanny shows up with his six year old daughter an quits he's trying to figure out what to do.His daughter is already out spoken about composting and saving the planet so when Tara comes up an asks how it's going his daughter says she needs the restroom.Tara says she'll take her he says to stay where he can see them then drop his daughter off to his partners .Can he keep her saffe?While they fall for each other as danger gets closer.There are so many twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

Well written story with likable characters and a nicely developed romance. The hero's daughter is a major star in the book. An entertaining mix of thrills and romance.

This was pretty entertaining. I love books with kids with strong personalities and boy did Ashley had a strong one! She was much fun to read.
The MCs were good though sometimes Tara was much better to read than our male lead. Their sexy times were very sexy and i loved it!
The book had its problems but... But overall it was a fun read.

Clint left the Seals years ago to take care of the daughter he did not know he had. He then began working for the security company with his friends. Now he is out of the office checking the security for the event for an environmental rally.
Tara the person he is supposed to be watching for security is okay with everything even when Clint’s nanny quits. Not being able to keep one for his daughter is super smart and is a changeling. Tara likes her and Ashley likes Tara as well. When someone takes a shot at Tara and nicks her. Her board wants her to stop with all of the public events. Not wanting to stop her champagning for a new bill to get passed she hires her personal bodyguard being Clint.
After a plumbing issue in his home, Ashley and Clint move in with Tara and then the story turns into the three of them until Clint finds a way to screw everything up. See why and if he can fix it. This is a good story and I really like the Tara and Ashley characters. Overall a good book.

Last book in this series. Good story. We have the retired SEAL and his daughter involved in protecting a threatened activist. There is angst, drama, romance, steam and a small amount of mystery. Quick, easy, enjoyable read.

This is a good, entertaining story. Like many others that I've read in this genre, it's quite predictable and much of the middle is lacking great suspense. I did enjoy this book, but there wasn't anything that set it apart.

The title is Protecting His Beautiful Lover, but throughout a good portion of time, Clint spends his time away from Tara. How is that protecting her? However, he did eventually get his head out of his rear and refocused himself with the task.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Clint is having a bad day between his daughter's nanny quitting and dropping her off whilst he is working. To the environmental rally that he working at for security and protection for the speakers. Tara is one of the speakers and he finds her attractive, but he is working and can't be distracted until suddenly there is a whistling sound and Tara has a gunshot wound to her arm.

Blaming himself for the incident he is attempting to juggle the fallout, childcare for his daughter as well as the financials and growth of Southern Soldiers of Fortune. Taking a mandatory leave of absence he goes to see Tara who asks him to become her bodyguard until the legislation that she is working on is passed. With a flood at home both Clint and his daughter Ashley move in with Tara in the short term and it proves too tempting to be around each other. Falling into a family dynamic everything appears to be going well until the attacks against Tara start to ramp up.

Can Clint discover who is behind the attacks and will it all stop once the legislation is in place?

Clint tries his best to be the best father, security personnel and friend. It shows how hard he tries but he feels like he's failing. Tara helped him in so many ways. A relationship with her is icing on the cake.
