I thought that this was such an interesting story, there were only a few illustrations and that was not an issue as the words really told you all that was needed from this story.

I know medical science has progressed but it really shows in this book how far we have come as I would hope that now in 2020 there would be a quicker diagnosis and I really felt fort Terry that he waited so long to find out what had been going on but I love that he still wanted to try and get on with his life too - that is inspirational

It is 4 stars from me for this one - highly recommended and would be great for any young people with CF to show how much that Terry has achieved and not let his diagnosis hold him back

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an electronic copy to read and review.

This is a great book that I really wish was turned into a chapter book - either for adults or middle school students. I want to know so much more about Terry - being diagnosed with CF at 54 is an incredible story. I really hope this book helps kids who are diagnosed with CF realize how fulfilling and beautiful their life can be - even with all of the treatments, medications, and hospital stays. I love the last few pages where Terry has colouring pages and messages for children.

This is fascinating! I would love to read an 'adult' version of Terry's life to date. Outside of this late-stage diagnosis, he seems to have an incredible outlook on life and has endured so much. CF is one nasty disease and this book brings me so much hope for this living with it. Beautiful job!

I saw the initial CF and clicked instantly. I knew I had to read.
My cousin died of CF 20 years ago. I am involved in Great Strides fundraising.
It is great to see a different journey to the diagnosis.
Maybe someone will read it and get checked out.

I received an advance copy of, Terry's Journey to CF Land, by Terry Wright. Terry was diagnosed with Cf, in his 50's, he was misdiagnosed for years. This is a great informative book about cf, for anybody regardless of color, as it should be.
