This is the second book in this series I have read and reviewed.
A good bdsm story, with a deep connection romance, of love marriage and happiness.
With a happy ever after ending in this romantic story.

I didn't like it as much as the first. Nick was just okay. I thought for sure there was going to be a whole lot more to her backstory, but there wasn't especially for all the drama Kaylab did in the previous book was just okay too.
Now is Chelsea going to wind up with the hot driver, Taylor, or the third partner, Slider, or both of them ....
Kayla, is back in town and I’m stuck escorting her down the aisle at our friend’s wedding. She’s more beautiful than I remember a vixen in heels who feeds my desire to show her exactly what she missed. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Jerrie Alexander is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book.
Same as book 1 in terms of the sexual content, if not more but with a bit more details about the personal background of the MCs Kayla and Nick.
I received an e-Arc of the book from the author Jerrie Alexander via NetGalley.

This book could really use another edit. The story was fine but the narration switched from present tense to past tense without it being a flashback or anything. The narrative was quick and light, but the edit would be super helpful to make the read less distracting.
Well written Dom and sub romance. Kayla has scars from her childhood and Nick wants to help her heal while training her to be his sub. Very steamy scenes with themes of romance, trauma, bdsm and friendship.
Trigger Warning: If you were abused and have issues with domination, consent and pseudo rape (some will see it as rape and others will not ) beware.
Better than the first. Kayla & Nick were a good pair. I felt the dialogue doesn’t always feel natural but it seemed to be better than the first book. Looking forward to the next book.
Overall a good story, but very similar to the first book. This has characters from the first book, it can be read as a standalone. Kayla grew up in an abusive home. She s wary of getting into a relationship that may be the same. Nick is a loner and doesn’t do long term and never wants to marry. They’re both drawn to one another and hook up. They take it slow and Nick respected her limits and helped ease her into the bdsm lifestyle. I received an arc from Netgalley for my honest opinion.
