I am not a huge short story reader, but I have loved Christmas ones. A cute book. I really enjoyed all of the stories and it was a fun read during this busy time - as you can read a story at a time and not get lost in the book. It was fun to have different holidays, as ones like St. Patrick's day are often not written about.
Definitely a fun and easy book to enjoy!
I really enjoyed the idea of these little stories. They were all simple and I wish they all somehow intertwined. I hope there is another like this next year!
Romancing for the Holidays is a series of short stories and reminded me much of the movies Love Actually or Valentine's Day. A couple has a meet-cute and the rest is history. Of course, each couple hits a few bumps along the way, but that's what makes their story theirs.
I flew through this book because it was split into four different stories. I wanted to learn if the characters were connected. I went into this book thinking it was just going to be about holiday (Christmas-time) meetings and couple stories, but that's not the case. You hear about the Fourth of July, St. Patrick's Day, and Halloween, too.
Read if you like:
-meet-cutes
-hallmark holiday movies
-a quick read

I'm glad this was a quick read because I may not have finished them otherwise. I just wasn't feeling the story enough.
Here's a book if youre wanting a quick holiday read. Four stories about romance, love at first sight, getting all the butterflies of meeting the "one" and around four different holidays during the year.
I loved reading all four stories. I love how quick and feel good they are. There's something about experiencing butterflies when you meet someone, and going on that first date and being all excited about it. I loved reliving those feelings and just loved all the stories.

Four short stories about different holidays throughout the year, each very different. Well written and enjoyable. 4 stars from me.
I really like the short stories throughout this book since every single one of them was unique and give you the feeling of each season. By far my favorite was the 4th of July story bc OMG I love that the hero look like Superman hahaha.
Totally recommendable for a fun time or to distraction for our daily chores!
Did not finish this book. It was not my cup of tea. Read the first story, and wasn’t intrigued. So, I tried the second one and couldn’t get into. It’s good to try, but I thought it was a little too fast paced in the scene setting of how the plot went.
Really enjoyed the premise of this one - four short romances with four different holidays in the background - and the stories were overall cute. However, they did become a bit repetitive with the characters' arcs. Still a nice read for a few different holidays, instead of your usual Christmas romance.
I received this from NetGalley in return for an honest review.
Its a cute collection of four short stories, each centred around a different holiday, Christmas, Halloween, 4th of July and St Patricks Day.
The writing style was nice and was quick and easy to read but all the stories seemed the same. There was nothing to make them stand out and there was nothing different different about each of the main characters.

Having 4 stories about 4 different holidays was such a cute idea!
I really enjoyed all the stories.
They was different than a lot of romances because most of them didn’t have a conflict. They’re short stories, so they really just showed the beginning of the romance.
I didn’t mind that. Most of the conflicts in romances are a little overdone anyways.
I wouldn’t say they are super focused on the actual holiday. That’s very much secondary.
I definitely think most of these stories could have been more flushed out. A lot of them ended when it felt like they were just getting started. But I am more used to reading novels than novellas.
Maybe I’m biased, but my favorite was the one that took place in my state of Colorado. Always a perfect place for a Christmas romance!
These were cute, short, and sweet romance stories all surrounding major holidays here in America (St. Paddy's, 4th of July, Halloween, & Christmas). That said, considering the cover of this collection and the title, I expected a bit more ~holiday~ from each story. The holidays were a background, barely mentioned at all, and were only relevant for maybe 3% of each story... if that. I just expected a bit more holiday from a holiday romance collection. I also felt like each main character in the stories followed the exact same character arc. None of them were particularly unique in any way. The female protagonist was hurt once, "Can she ever love again?", she learns how to love again, all works out (a little too quickly, I might add). It was the exact same for all four stories. Now I'm all for women learning to bounce back after trash men hurt them, but the exact same story for every character in a short story collection? Not my thing at ALL. Just make one story then! The last story, Beaver Creek Resort, was by far my favorite out of the four. The stories were cute enough for me to continue reading and finish the thing, but I was pretty disappointed overall.

A book with four short stories that each center around a holiday from St Patrick's day to July 4th to Halloween to Christmas.
Typically when I read short story collections, I don't typically love them because I want so much more from the stories and they feel short and choppy with the limited pages, but not so in this one. I felt as though the author was able to create full stories in quick pages and nothing felt as though it was instalove! Each story had a great intro, heart and conclusion and there wasn't one that I didn't like less (although I am partial to dogs over cats!).
I read this book around the Christmas and before reading I didn't know different holidays were included, so I wish I had been able to read each story around the holiday it is focused on, so I suggest that to future readers!
I am used to reading Christmas holiday novella collections.
The fun thing about this book is it does have a Christmas holiday story but also has stories, novella length taking place during other holidays.
St. Patrick's Day,Fourth of July and Halloween are the other holidays in this sweet romance book that you'll have fun reading.

1. Lucky Fall - 3⭐️ I was hoping these were all Christmas stories, but this was was actually St. Patrick’s Day. It was short and sweet, but not much to it. I didn’t care for the best friend.
2. Pawsitively Perfect - 4⭐️ I’m really surprised I enjoyed this one this much because it takes place on the 4th of July, my least favorite holiday. I loved that dogs were such a big part of the story and I loved both love interests!
3. All Thanks to You - 4⭐️ This was cute! Unfortunately, it kind of blurred with the second story in this book. The characters and storyline were VERY similar. Story 2 had dogs and this one had cats. Regardless, I still loved it and had fun reading it! Oh, and the holiday in this story was Halloween!
4. Beaver Creek Resort - 4⭐️ Finally the Christmas story! Okay I usually don’t mind insta love, but this one was a tad too much for me. I love the resort and Christmas setting so much. The characters had interesting backstories too!
This book was the perfect escape. It was lovely and fun. It was my first book by this author and I will definitely be on the look out for more!!
I loved the setting of each little novela during a different holiday and each of her characters. I definitely was continuously interested and enjoyed this read.

Thank you Netgalley, L. Austen Johnson and Lore and Lyre for the book Romancing the Holidays.
This is my personal review.
This is a book of four novellas each set in a different holiday. Lucky Fall (St. Paddy’s Day), Pawsitively Perfect (4th of July) , All Thanks to you (Halloween) and Beaver Creek Resort (Christmas).
The different holiday theme was a wonderful setting for the romances.
The stories were comforting and easy to read in one sitting. Having four novellas gave me romance in each and made me look forward to the next one.

Romancing the Holidays is a collection of four holiday novellas by L. Austen Johnson. They include Lucky Fall for St. Paddy's Day, Pawsitively Perfect for 4th of July, All Thanks to You for Halloween, and Beaver Creek Resort for Christmas. Since the cover was all Christmas, I was hoping for more emphasis on the Christmas story, but overall I enjoyed the stories from each of the four seasons.
Lucky Fall: I was captivated by this story! I was quickly drawn in and could not stop reading until I reached the end of the story. This was a sweet romance, filled with hope.
Pawsitively Perfect: This was such a cute romance! I love any story that features dogs and this one is awesome. This was definitely a sweet romance and the dogs took center stage!
All Thanks to You: This is such a cute romance, that is more about black cats than Halloween, but I'll take it. It's a very sweet story about taking chances.
Beaver Creek Resort: This is such a sweet romance filled with hope and the magic of second chances.
Overall, I enjoyed these stories and there seasonal romances. I look forward to reading other books by the author!
I'm so grateful to L. Austen Johnson, Lore and Lyre, and NetGalley for providing me with a free copy of this ARC ebook in exchange for my honest review.

This beautiful collection of short stories will make you feel woozy and ready for the holidays.
I have to say I absolutely loved the first and second one more than the rest. The chemistry between those couple was amazing plus I loved their personality and personal stories too.
The other two were good and cute too but my favorites were those first two ones.
Super recommend it!
