Lynn Viehl has done it again with the Darkyn series. This series has never disappointed. The only disappointment I am feeling is that she is no longer writing.

Both Jamys and Chris are fighting for each other without the others knowledge. They are in love with each other but both thing it's one sided. Jamys wants a household of his own so he can give Chris a home.

When the High Lord of the Darkyn puts out that whomever recovers three magical emeralds will rule his own country, Jamys is all in. Chris decides to help for her own reasons.

The adventure in this book was good. I really liked the love story too.
