What’s your number? I’m a 6w5, at least, that’s what I think after reading a lot about the Enneagram and taking some online assessments. No matter your number, this book focuses on help you live by your values, be a better communicator in relationships, and practice meaningful self-care.
From what I understand, the Enneagram was developed by religious folks, and it’s early uses were in relation to Christian spirituality. You won’t find a lot of that in this book, for better or worse. This one is about taking care of yourself and understanding others through Enneagram, and it leaves out the religious part. So, if you’re hesitant to do any digging into this assessment and analysis for those reasons, no need to worry. This book is a great starting place for its secular uses and insight.
I read this in just a couple of hours while I couldn’t sleep last night, so it moves quickly. No getting bogged down for hours, just the most helpful parts in a succinct, little book.
Very interesting and informative! I love books like this. I am always so intrigued to learn about personality traits. It amazes me the things that help form us in who we are. Things out of our control, and yet they are spot on.
