I absolutely ADORE these comics by @catanacomics
I'm always sending them to my husband, and we both feel that they illustrate an honest realistic love - rather than romance novel love!
This book didnt disappoint. It is a beautiful collection of comics that would be amazing in hardback form. It is out on the 2nd of Feb and would make a fantastic valentines gift (just saying).
Thanks to @netgalley and @andrewsmcmeel for an ARC in exchange for an honest review
Hello, hi, how are we all doing today?
It is only Tuesday, but this week has felt very long. However, I am incredibly excited for the upcoming holiday and can not wait to decorate my space even more! Recently, I have also been on a bit of a reading streak and even though this has not been the greatest week, I have still been reading quite a bit. There is just something about reading via candle and Christmas lights that is so cozy that it just makes me want to read even more! One of the books, I read recently was an E-ARC of the new Catana Comics collection! I love these little comics, even if you have never read one of the collections you have probably seen them online (on Facebook, Twitter, etc..), before these were ever in collections, I absolutely adored them and used to send them to my husband all the time. I believe this is the second or third collection of Catana Comics I have gotten the chance to read and I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of them. This collection was especially cute and I absolutely can not wait for it to be released into the world (so I can purchase a copy to share with my husband)! We always love looking through these together and definitely find ourselves relating to many of the moments we see in the comics. I can not wait to see what Catana Comics comes out with next!
Goodreads Rating: 5 Stars
**Thank you so much for the E-ARC in exchange for the honest review
A lovely and cosy read. With very short and witty slices of life, the author shares relatable and heartwarming snippets of her relationship. I've been a long time follower on IG, but it's the first time I have the chance to discover her published work and it's everything I expected and more. A warm cup of tea for the soul. I cannot recommend it enough.
In Love & Pajamas is a comic by Catana Chetwynd, and also the most adorable little reminder that you and your partner aren’t really that strange after all! The comic features little ‘skits’ about everyday struggles, laughs, awkward moments, and all the good gooey bits in between of being in a relationship with someone you love. I was constantly chuckling to myself throughout their comic, because I had little moments of ‘omg that’s so true!’ and ‘this is so us!’.
The simplicity of the graphics is what makes this comic all the more fantastic. The message of each little skit is always understandable and you’re never left scratching your head wondering what they mean.
This comic would be a perfect gift for a couple or someone who just loves to have a laugh. Would 100% recommend this comic to everyone in love...and in pajamas!

This graphic novel was so sweet! It reminded me a lot of my relationship with my boyfriend. It highlights the innocence and purity of a loving relationship, which I adored. This was a fairly quick read; certainly not as complex as other graphic novels I've picked up. I would recommend to anyone who wants a warmhearted, quick read.
All opinions are my own. Thanks to NetGalley for the advanced reader copy.
The perfect description for this book is given right on the cover: "a collection of comics about being yourself together".
The introduction made me fall in love before even starting, with the broomstick-dancing reference and the "no matter who you are, being the truest form of yourself and letting your guard down is what makes all this memories what they are". Being the girl who always keeps her guard up and has little romantic experience (probably as a result), that really got to me.
I had already seen @catanacomics around Instagram so, when I saw this was available on NetGalley, I couldn't resist (huge thank you to them). And I wasn't disappointed. These comics are so fuzzy, warm, cute, adorable, funny and, above all, 100% relatable. It's the perfect, quick read for a cozy blanket-and-tea winter day.
I’ve not read anything by Catana Chetwynd before, though I have seen the odd strip kicking around on social media. I chose this book based on how much I enjoyed those. I wasn’t disappointed!
These comics are both cute and funny. Even as someone who has never been in a romantic relationship, there are so many relatable moments!
The drawings themselves are lovely - so few lines express so much. In that way, they remind me of Peanuts, my first and favourite comic. The frames are clean and simple, and there aren’t even a huge number of words, but they convey so much meaning to the reader.
If you’re looking for something to make you laugh, and to warm the cockles of your heart, search no longer. This book made me feel so happy.
I was given a free copy of this book, my opinions are my own.

This was the first book from Catana Chetwynd so I did not know what to expect.
I really enjoyed this book and will definitely read other books from Chetwynd.
The book contains adorable drawings, the story is cute and relatable. It feels genuine and heartwarming. Most importantly the message of the book is how amazing it is to be yourself in a relationship with a person that really accepts you for who you are.
For me personally, reading this book was like wrapping myself in a soft blanket. It lifted my mood and provided me with perfect relaxing reading. I think this book would be a really nice present for someone.
This collection of comics is the perfect combination of cute, loving, funny, and realistic. The comics are centered around a couple, Catana and John, and their dog. There are a lot of really cutesy couple-y comics, but also a lot of funny ones about pet ownership, hating the Mondays, and the bane of our existence - real pants. I laughed out loud and felt the warm and fuzzies while reading these comics. If you are in a long-term committed relationship, you'll recognize the things that drive us crazy about our partners - like who the hell ate all my chips? Super cute and would make a great gift! This book will be published in February 2021 - perfect for Valentine's Day.

It was a sweet and quick read. Drawings were cute. I just couldn't bond with them.
Adorable comic that is a quick light read. I can totally relate to the characters in the comic strips.
even though the art style is quite simplistic, the vignettes are cute and entertaining, as well as relatable and accurate to relationships. is a quick, fun read.

The couple dynamic was adorable with charming illustrations. This is great gift for couples.
I’ve been following @catanacomics on IG years and always looking forward to her new posts. So when I saw that a copy is available on Netgalley, there’s no hesitation. Reading this amplifies how solo i’m really am. Even though it’s making me extra lonely, it totally warms my heart that there’s a couple out there who is too cute and gets one another.
In Love & Pajamas was an amazingly quirky and relatable book of comics that show the depth of emotions and the funnier side of romance. I had seen some of Chetwynd’s work online, but had never read much of it until I found this book. Her drawings are sweet and adorable and she covers topics that could be anybody interacting with their significant other. In Love & Pajamas is a quick read but well worth it!
I think this Collection of Comics was adorable. The Author Catana created these comics about her relationship with her fiance John. Some of them were super sweet, funny, and relatable. Thank you netgalley and the publisher for my gifted copy.
Such a cute collection of comics that are surprisingly relatable! Loved it, thank you for allowing me to read it!
I read this graphic novel super duper fast! I love the concept it’s very well done, simply funny and relatable.
I'd seen a ton of these comics being shared on Facebook and they are so cute. Having them compiled into a book is such a great idea. Definitely need to check out more by Catana Chetwynd
In Love & Pajamas is an adorable graphic novel that tells short and funny stories about relationship dynamics. The illustrations and dialogue were light and entertaining, but they also showed how strong love can and should be.
I read this comic in one sitting, and I absolutely loved it! Everything about it was wonderful, and there were multiple times when I actually laughed out loud because of how relatable the comics were. In Love & Pajamas was a quick and fun read, and I am so glad I picked it up!
A huge thank you to NetGalley, Andrews McMeel Publishing, and Catana Chetwynd for providing an ARC of this graphic novel!
