This book and this writer finds the small moments that are important and beautiful in a relationship. I laughed and cried and will cherish this book.
Love love love all the catana comics! This one is just brilliant, and I bought copies for friends because they’re so cute and relatable
Oh, what a sweet little story this was which gave me all the feels. The drawings were relatable to the core, quirky, and perfect. The books would make for a perfect gift to your loved one too.
In Love and Pajamas was such a fun book to read! The Fiance and I read this together, laughing at the comics and sharing glances at one another when they definitely touched on topics of our relationship (like me being super short).
I love reading the Catana Comics on Instagram and it was definitely fun to read this book of comics snuggled up with my forever person.
I really enjoys Catana Chetwynd's work! I loved reading Little Moments of Love a few years ago so I was so excited to get my hands on an early copy of her newest book. Her art style is really wonderful and I love the cute little glimpses into this adorable love story.
The moment I saw this on NetGalley, I immediately hopped on it and read it in one sitting. Catana Comics is always such a bright, sweet hug directly to my heart, and I was not disappointed in this collection! I love how simple her comics are, in style and theme and what she’s saying – but their meaning and how much it speaks to every person’s heart is so strong! While I haven’t been lucky to experience a love Catana portrays yet, I still relate so much to all the comics; and even when it makes me yearn, it’s still with a warm and fuzzy feeling, too. New and old readers alike will fall in love with this collection – it made me giggle, swoon, and smile through every page.
I see a Catana book and I automatically take it. I'm a fan. From Little Moments of Love, they always have a great balance of quirky and cute that just works perfectly for me. And what could be more perfect to read in the month of love?
This time around, In Love and Pajamas keeps the formula and brings a great take on what we can relate to this last year on quarantine. Full of different scenarios of staying inside and being lazy, this comic shows us a deep and comfortable connection between our favorite couple.
Super sweet, relatable, funny and overall a great read that can give you all the fuzzy feelings. Perfect to just snuggle in your couch and flip through to forget about the outside world.
Amazing book! I REALLY loved how candid it was and was so soothing to read! Was so excited when i got the book 😍
I truly enjoyed everything about this book, as it faithfully portrayed the importance of intimacy and comfort that a relationship brings along. Best served in pajamas on a raining day with your significant other.
This was such a perfect pandemic-type book, and I think it was very accurate to living with a a partner during that time. It wasn’t all super obvious that it was set kind of in that time though, they did do some social activities. I’m just such a sucker for a graphic novel about a relationship. Graphic novels seem to be able to just capture the real truth and reality as opposed to just a regular novel. Loved this and loved the art style.
Loved this so much! Totally reliable, and the illustrations are so cute, i always love Catana’s comics.
A very sweet, cozy, slice-of-life story about Catana, her partner, their dog, and their everyday lives. I think this is a great book to read when one needs some cheering up. It's lighthearted, funny, and thoughtful, and it highlights the beauty in the everyday aspects of life, like staying indoors and watching a movie.
This was fine, but not exactly my cup of tea. I got kind of bored about halfway through so I didn’t even finish it. It’s very cutesy lovey dovey stuff and is very straight, which is probably why I didn’t like it. I’m sure it would make a cute gift for a SO on their birthday or Valentine’s Day.
Catana's comics are always welcome in my life. Even though I had seen on social media a lot of the comics already, it was still a delight and refreshing. The collection was a solid combination of the best of the best. .
Catana's comics are an absolute delight. They're always so relatable, and I found myself showing my spouse several different pages that made us both laugh out loud.
Well, I read this last Valentine's Day, two months after my first break-up ever, craving something cozy, romantic and cute but not something too deep to cry over. In Love and Pajamas was just the perfect book for this craving. Had been following Catana Chetwynd's cartoons on Instagram but never knew she had authored these books. I'm glad I was able to read this adorable graphic novel. It was so warm and celebrated love in its purest elements, more like the platonic aspects of having a partner, than the romantic ones. I loved it!
I love Catana's Comics, and this collection is so adorable! I can see myself and my partner in this so much. This book is a great reminder that when you find someone with whom you can be yourself together, it's the best feeling ever. Your partner should be there for you either if you had a great or a bad day, and he should know what to say to you to cheer you up (or just be there, you know!). So cute!
Many thanks to Andrews McMeel Publishing for the complimentary e-copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Precious and hilarious as always. These slice of life comics are always on point and highly relatable. Highly recommended for all comic/graphic novel collections.
Another super cute collection of couple comics. I loved the celebration of two people comfortable with one another's quirks and happy just staying home, taking a nap and getting take out to avoid doing dishes lol.

Adorable & relatable; it was fun to read through this graphic novel with my husband and see ourselves represented within the pages of this book. However, it was ultimately unmemorable as I completely forgot I had read it for almost 2 months.
Definitely a cute & quick collection of comics to pick up for those in a relationship nonetheless.
