This was an absolutely adorable and completely relatable graphic novel about real relationship antics. I love how she encapsulates both together for a short time and together for a long time situations.
Having been married for 15 years this resonates with me something fierce. Even after 15 years we are still just a couple of big kids and I related to so much of this. Plus, the illustrations were so cute.
If you're looking for a feel-good comic - this is the comic for you. I just read the entire thing in one sitting, while wearing my pajamas and wishing I was in love. The art style is adorable and the stories were funny and relatable. This is the perfect book to read when you're feeling alone or feeling sad. I highly recommend.
Thanks so much to the amazing publishers and Netgalley for the advanced copy!!
This was beyond adorable. Her comics always have a hilarious way of depicting everyday life, and I once again laughed my way through this latest collection. Her art style is simple and cute, and suits the theme of the comics perfectly. Loved!
I follow this author/artist on Instagram and I loved this book. It is so cute and perfectly describes how weird my partner and I have gotten during quarantine after all this time together.
This book had a super cute concept and I am sure for some it would work. It just wasn't for me. I like more in graphics than this artist provided.
**I received an eARC of this novel via NetGalley. All opinions in this review are my own.**
A short and sweet compilation of romantic moments, heartwarming, and makes me miss my partner while reading it.
If you've been around Instagram you've probably seen a few of Catana Chetwynd's works pass by your explore feed. I've used Catana's short comics as a reminder of the moments I've shared with my beloved.
Catana's art style is very unique and simple, which amps up the cuteness level by infinity. Her comics reflects very real endearing moments we share with our partners.
Reading the graphic novel, I am reminded constantly of the small moments I shared and hope to share in the future with my partner.
Everytime I open a new page you will encounter a short and sweet snippet.
This graphic novel is a quick read and deserves your attention to feel the fuzzy feelings. A great novel you can gift to your loved ones or beloved to remind each other to cherish the small moments.
Personally this graphic novel made me want to see my partner right away. Maybe 2021 will be a good year of reunion and a year that we can cherish the moments we have more closely.
Thanks to Andrews McMeel Publishing for the DRC!
I love, love, love this comic book! It's all so cute and relatable!
The couple is adorable. Even when they're just doing the most simple things together, we can still see their love. The author's intention was to show how amazing it is when you can do silly things and just be yourself wearing pajamas around someone else. Nothing to be ashamed of. I think she nailed it! :)
My favorite comic is the one "working from home", lol.
Once again, a totally cute book by Catana Chetwynd.
Her cartoons are always so dorky, quirky and totally recognizable. A few times I was able to sigh `Thank God, I´m not the only one that does that silly thing."
"In Love & Pajamas" is Catana Chetwynd's latest comic book that explores the little ways in which couple express their love for each other, often without saying anything at all. Each page tells a little story and gives the reader a beautiful insight in Chetwynd's personal love life as the book is based off of her relationship with her own partner. You can feel the love imbued in every comic strip she draws and each page gave me a burst of endorphins because this little book just made me so happy! It's such a sweet book and anyone, whether in a relationship or not, can take away something from this book. The book is relatable, comical, and to the point. It's the perfect book to give to someone you love. I look forward to reading Chetwynd's other works as well!
Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an e-arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I enjoyed this cute Graphic Novel about the cozy, romantic moments between this couple once they’re comfortable enough around each other to truly be themselves without feeling embarrassed about certain things. This made awkward situations seem funny, and cute moments were made even cuter. The illustrations were simple but beautiful.
I would have liked more colour or just none at all. There were splashes of it here and there, however it was not enough to be consistent. I Also found some of the illustrations to be blurry round the edges, looking more like just a rough draft. As this may just be because this is an Advanced Copy of the book, I do not feel the need to take off any points.
This was an enjoyable read and I would like to try more books by this author/artist. I would definitely recommend and give this book 5 stars.
Simply heartwarming and adorable! I found myself wanting to share so many of the panels with my boyfriend because it was like looking into a mirror. This is the perfect book to read together as a couple. Lovely, full of laughs, and heartwarming I recommend this to all couples.

Catana Chetwynd has once again delivered an adorably relatable graphic novel about being in love with your best friend. This book is an easy read to snuggle up with, or one to read with your partner so that you can point out all the comics that you relate to. These comics are a guarantee to make you smile, and would be a joy to read on a cold February day. I could see this as a perfect gift for a Valentine in your life, as the book is set to be published February 2nd.
I just love Catana’s books. So relatable, funny, sweet and touching. I found myself nodding along and laughing out loud to drawings I could relate to. Covid can be a tough time for couples and this is a reminder of how the small things we can do can show the person how much we love them. I am a big fan of doing the sneak attack from behind hugs to my partner and squeezing him in a death hug lol! So happy to see that drawing :)
A heartwarming set of comics following a couple and their daily interactions. A nice easy read that is sure to put a smile on your face and make you chuckle. Very relatable shows of love and affection.
Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for this ARC.
After reading Snug back in January, when I saw the newest Catana comic available on Netgalley, I knew I had to read it! Catana Chetwynd does an incredible job at making her comics a perfect mixture of funny and adorable in a relatable way. I found myself smiling throughout the book and laughing out loud. The comics are endearing and would make the perfect holiday gift for your significant other.

LOOOOOOOOOVED IT!!!! Funny and cute. My husband is convinced there are cameras in our house and thats how Catana gets some of her ideas. Its sweet and a bit romantic without being overly smushy. As with all of her other books, even though I've read an ecopy, I'll still go out and buy a hard copy.
Catana Chetwynd's comics are always the cutest and sweetest. I love her artwork and sense of humour. Her work always connects straight to the heart. This little collection is exactly as the title suggests: life about love and life in pajamas. Almost every comic is "Awww-inducing". Loved it to bits!!!
I see these books all the time but it just isnt my thing. Some of the cartoons were cute bug i just couldnt relate
In Love & Pajamas by Catana Chetwynd is a wonderful selection of funny, relatable, and personal cartoons and drawings. The drawings are sometimes sweet and always humorous.
This book brought me so much happiness, after being in tears from the ending of a different devastating novel.
This is what I think should be a person's coffee table book. You can open it to any page and find something that will bring a smile to your face or cause you to giggle.
Catana is incredibly relatable and sweet and everyone deserves more of this in their lives.
