I really liked the family element of this story, and the small-town setting - I always find they are perfect for romances!
You know when you had a thought few days and you need to unwind and you end up picking up a book that provides you the right distraction from your problems?? This book was everything I wanted and needed.
If there ever was a man who deserves the title THE SWOONIEST MAN, Aiden takes the cake. He and Abby had such a powerful connection and don't even get me started on the chemistry. I loved the easy way he fitted in her world. But what I loved the most was that he was willing to do anything and everything to keep her even if it meant letting go of his workaholic ways.
I read this in one sitting and was left with the cheesiest smile on my face. I'm looking forward to seeing how much trouble Cait can get herself into. She is a mystery I can't wait to uncover.

I have been waiting for Aiden book. It was a little long, but I was not disappointed. It was so good to see his relationship with his Sister Remi from ( This is Love (Harmony Pointe Book 2). Abby and Aiden story is heartbreaking and loving. They have both held onto the good memories of their childhood throughout all the tribulations they have gone through. They have both learn to chill and relax after having a life put in someone else's needs first. They had many firsts with each other and it was good them. “I’ve never craved intimacy with anyone, and with you, I can’t get enough.” Another great book to start a series in the love and bloom collection. I can’t wait to read the stories of the other characters in this series.
I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.
Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.
However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x
What I truly wouldn’t give to get just a GLIMPSE into the brain and inner workings of Melissa Foster! Each book she writes brings us a completely unique and interesting story line, and let’s us revisit old characters, while introducing us to new characters that are full of depth and plenty of charisma.
Abby and Aiden were a fantastic match for one another in Maybe We Will. Both have their different reasons for being back home, but both need to learn new lessons about what is truly important in life. That definitely resonated with me in many ways. The story was also full of plenty of laugh out loud moments and tons of heat to spare.
LOVED getting to revisit Silver Island (SERIOUSLY, where can I find a real place like this with real people like this to be my friends?!) and cannot wait to see what’s in store next with Melissa’s books. This one didn’t disappoint!
There are not enough words to describe what I feel about this story. It is the most beautiful love story I have read in a very long time. Abby has no idea who Aiden is or how wealthy he really is. And Aiden likes it that way. He does not want her to judge him for his money but rather accept him as a person without the wealth. Abby wants to do things on her own and not rely on anyone. She has a dream and will do whatever she has to for that dream to come true. She has the support of her sisters and she may not realize it but Aiden’s support as well.
I enjoyed this book so much. It is truly a beautiful love story. Although it is a stand-alone, previous characters make appearances. You have a chance to catch up with them and what is going on in their lives. Aiden and Abby are just so perfect together. He is a workaholic who was forced to take this vacation by his sister. He never thought he would survive a few days let alone a month. But once he met Abby everything changed for him. He thought he was living but when he met Abby, she showed him what he was missing. Because you have money does not mean you have everything. Love does not have a price tag. Happiness, although some would disagree, does not have a price tag either. Aiden and Abby got to know one another for who they were without letting material things influence them. This forced one month vacation that he thought he would not survive turned into a forever he never saw coming. But he fell into it with all of himself and never regretted a minute of it.
Welcome to Silver Island, home to chef Abby and her sister Deirdra and what? A half-sister they never knew about?? The plot thickens with the addition of Aiden, who Abby finds camped on the porch of the bistro owned by her family…but for how long? Mom has passed away and they are trying to sort the estate, but there are many twists and turns in this thing we call life. Maybe We Will by Melissa Foster is a fun and entertaining story about, well, life in general and how we cope when life throws you a curve ball. I totally enjoyed it and would recommend this to others.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this story for an honest opinion.
This book is such a fantastic romance. Abby and Aiden's story is one that I couldn't put down. The romance was overflowing from this story and felt like a fairytale. As someone who loves fairytales this book has become a favorite of mine. I wish Silver Island was real so I could visit. I definitely recommend reading this book.
Abby is a chief and she goes home to an Island where she grew up with her sister and mother. Her father she remembers but he passed away when she was younger. Now taking care of the home and the restaurant after their mother passed she also discovers a half-sister they knew nothing about, surprise. She also meets Aiden who is told to take a vacation. He is a workaholic. The two met and Aiden helps Abby through her emotions, feelings, and everything else she has going on with the death of her mother, the bistro, and just all of the new information. The two of them not looking for anything are surprised that they get along so well.
Neither of these two people would have met in any social circle. Her being a chief and he is in finance. With each character having their guard down and just being open with the other person with no airs they found that they blend together for each other, yin and yang sort of speak. There is a lot going on in this book and it took me a while to finish for I had just lost my mother, which though she was in her nineties still brought up a lot of emotions. This is a well-written book with very good characters.
Abby's come back to Silver Island with her sister to settle their mother's affairs and has realized she wants to reopen their family restaurant rather than sell it. She knows her father's magic is still there, it's up to her and her newfound sister Cait to bring it out. Their older sister, Deirdre, too, if she can get past wanting to sell it. The last thing Abby expected was to meet a beautiful stranger and to indulge in a vacation fling with him. When it comes time for them to go back to their real lives, will those lives include each other?
Aiden is only on Silver Island because his sister made him take a non working vacation, and gave him a "Let-Loose List" to check off while he's there. When the most gorgeous woman appears in front of the restaurant where he's enjoying a coffee, he's entranced, even when he realizes his business interest lie in direct opposition to her wishes. Will Abby help open him up to the life he could have if he'd learn to balance work and fun? Or will he go right back to it when his vacation and fling with her are done?
Aiden and Abby are so perfect for each other. She has the big, open heart and bright spirit that only those with the kindest souls have, and he has the giving, generous nature that only the most compassionate have, whether they have his money or not. Together the two were beautiful and I loved every single word of their story. I can just tell that the Silver Harbor series is going to be Melissa's best.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a simple, light read. I really felt for the characters and wanted to root for them every step of the way.
I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down!
Aiden has been popping up in Harmony Pointe and Sugar Lake books for a while and he has always interested me, and so to finally see him have his HEA is fab.
Aiden comes to Silver Island with a holiday activity list thanks to his sister Remi, and Abby is returning to the island with her sister to deal with their mothers estate. A chance meeting leads them both to having fun and enjoying the island in ways they didn't think they could.
Melissa has yet again created another beautiful place to escape too, with people you wish you could meet. I cant wait to return.
3.5* rounded up
Workaholic Aiden Aldridge from previous books in the series has been forced to take a much-needed vacation by his sister Remi, and is sent to Silver Harbor, an island off Cape Cod, with a long list of things to do that she hopes will loosen him up and make him realize how much of life he’s been missing, first by taking care of his much younger sister after his parents were killed and then by burying himself in his work. On his first full day on the island, he meets Abby and the chemistry is instantaneous. When he shares the list, she’s eager to help him with it while rediscovering the home she left years before to pursue her dream in New York. She’s back to stay following her mother’s death and needs to work through her feelings with the help of her sisters (one of whom she didn’t know about until it came time to learn about her inheritance).
The waterfront home and restaurant her late father established has been willed to all three girls, but it’s Abby who wants to make a go of restoring The Bistro to its former glory and bringing back the magic her father imbued it with. In the process of fixing it up, she begins to realize how kind, generous and protective Aiden is and how wonderful it is to work on the renovations with her new sister. However, when Aiden’s best intentions collide with Abby’s need for independence and self-sufficiency, will her stubbornness and his heavy-handed protectiveness ruin their hope for a future together?
This is the first of a new series in Foster’s Love in Bloom universe. It’s a standalone, mature romance with a large cast of characters, many of whom aren’t new to her readers. It’s a treat to revisit them and to see Aiden finally get his HEA. The chemistry between the two is evident, but there’s very little angst which often allows for more tension. If you’re looking for a relaxing, steamy read with a fabulous book boyfriend, pick this one up.
I received a complimentary ARC of this book from Montlake through
NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.
This story will grab hold of your heart and doesn't let go. What a great blend of chemistry, banter and plenty of angst. You will definitely be taken on a roller coaster ride of emotions. You get all the feels. I fell in love with Abby and Aiden's story. It will keep you entertained and has such a fabulous beach setting. I am looking forward to seeing more of this series.
I was so excited to see Aiden get a story after being intrigued by him in some of the other appearances he's made in other series. This was one heartfelt, passion-filled, sweet story that took my heart. The love story between Abby and Aiden is not easy but it's raw and real and I felt everything from them.

Maybe We Will is a cute read. Like most other Melissa Foster books, this is a spinoff of a previous series, Harmony Pointe, and has some of those characters in it. You won't be lost if you haven't read them you just won't have all of the background information.
Aiden and Abby fall for each other fairly quickly, despite a 10 year age gap, while he's on a forced vacation and she's returned home to deal with her mom's estate. While it seems their relationship progresses quickly, I felt as though the pacing of the book was slow in a few places. Aiden's sweet and swoony, Abby's determined to fulfill her dream of bringing back some of the childhood magic she felt when her dad was alive. Overall, it has all the right elements of a great contemporary romance, it just didn't grab me. That being said, if you're a Melissa Foster fan at all, I'm sure you'll love this one.
Abby is a chef who comes home to Silver Island when her mother passed away. She and her sister then find out that they have an older sister.. Aiden is a billionaire businessman who has been sent to Silver Island by his sister to relax. When they meet they fall for each other instantly. Such a beautiful, romantic, sigh out loud book that was such a joy to read and I can't wait to see what awaits Abby's sisters.
I always read Melissa Foster whenever I get a copy of any of her books and review them when they come out on the other platforms. I sometimes forget to review them on here. This was a wonderful book by her as always.
