Well researched and easy to read though a little long I recommend for history and non fiction lovers

This read more like a novel so I really appreciated that. I really think that John Adair's style of writing is what makes history digestible. The Puritans are often overlooked in history even though without them, we wouldn't have the America we know today. I think this in-depth look really allowed me to explore that part of history without the bore of a classroom setting. I could picture this being used my students for study projects or even in a classroom setting.
