Laurie Gelman is hysterical! Lovers of her previous books Class Mom and You've Been Volunteered will love her latest, Yoga Pant Nation. Moms will be nodding along thinking YES...this is me...the entire read.

I was lucky to receive an advance copy of Yoga Pant Nation from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review and opinion. I've read the other two books by Laurie Gelman and couldn't wait to read this! As expected, this was a great read and I found myself actually laughing out loud at several of the situations. Such a fun, easy read!

I have LOVED all of Laurie Gelman's books and especially this one too! Her characters are so awesome and I couldn't put the book down. I can't wait to read more of her books!

I read this before it came out and am just realizing I never reviewed it!
I love Laurie Gelman and have read and loved her two previous books also! This is class mom book #3 and the drama and laughter continues. This time she’s in charge of fundraising $10,000 for the PTA, all while trying to start a new career teaching spin classes! How will she do it? Read and find out!
Once again, I loved the hilarious emails she sends out to the other parents. This was funny and relatable and just a really easy and nice summer read.
Thank you #netgalley and #henryholtandcompany for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This is one of those series that just gets better with every book. This third installment was definitely my favorite! It was so funny! Whatever will Jen Dixon get herself into next?!
The fact that the fundraiser group was named WEFUCKT just had me giggling like a child every time I read it. It was so innocent but also such great foreshadowing.
I absolutely love the Dixon family....ALL of them... from Baby Maud all the way down the generations to Kay and Ray. They are all lovable in their own ways. And some of the struggles we dealt with here I can totally relate to...as a mom, as a daughter with slowly aging parents.
I'm not sure if there will be more coming for the Dixons but I sure hope so!

Laurie Gelman writes the best pee in your pants stories! I’m taking back to my kids’ elementary school days with every story and I am reminded of some of the class moms we had. Lots of laugh out loud moments with Jen Dixon throughout the story. I can’t wait for her next novel!

I absolutely loved the previous Class Mom novels, but I didn’t blaze through this one as quickly as expected (this book was highly anticipated by me for months, so I was so excited to find it on NetGalley), nor did I rubs myself awkwardly laughing out loud at Laurie Gelman’s quips. Perhaps the series has run its course as she spends her 3rd year shocking other parents and becoming a grandmother, but I think the primary difference that prevented me from loving this book as much is that I listened to the first 2 as audiobooks. Laurie Gelman is the first author I’ve encountered who narrated her own audiobook, and I think it was a brilliant idea to do so. It allowed the reader to hear the book exactly as she intended to, and her tone and comedic timing really elevate her books to a level that I didn’t reach by reading in my head.

This was my first read of the classroom series and I felt a little lost on some of the characters background. I did enjoy her room mom emails and the fundraising escapades and some of her literal name calling. The book seemed to have too many things going on at one time that made it hard to keep it all straight.

Laurie Gelman does it again. The 3rd installment of the Class Mom series, is just as good and as funny as the first two. I always forget that these books are not memoirs and that Jen Dixon is not a real person. I would love to have Jen in my mom group she is hilarious and so down to earth. This is a must read for anyone who is a mom.

I absolutely loved Yoga Pant Nation by Laurie Gelman! It was so fun to follow Jen and her family, her quest to become a spinning instructor and her PTA Fundraising Committee Chair exploits, her husband's x-wife's bat crazy plan for her own birthday and her son's overnight class trip to Topeka. This clever and very relatable story was extremely well done and witty. I adored Jen's snarky emails and lived vicariously through each one wishing I had the chutzpah to pull that off! I will be sure to read Ms. Gelman's other titles. Thank you to NetGalley, Ms. Gelman and Henry Holt and Company for the opportunity to read this advanced copy.

First reading Laurie Gelman books makes it easy to see why her husband Michael fell in love with her! You know the mom at your kids school that everyone wants to be within her orbit just to hear her observations on whatever is going on? This is what it feels like to read not only Yoga Pant Nation but all of her books. I had a special affinity for this one being a grandmother myself and now back in the school scene as I help out every now and then and confess I too am often on yoga pants. Keep writing Laurie!!

There is nothing like a novel featuring Jen Dixon! The star of Class Mom is back in her third adventure by Laurie Gelman. This time, Jen is leading fundraising for her son's 5th grade class where they have to raise $10,000 by the end of the school year all while dealing with her two 30sih daughters, her adorable granddaughter, her aging parents and the new family yoga/gym business (plus an unexpected caemo by her husband's ex-wife). What could go wrong? Hilarity and heart-felt moments follow, told in Gelman's trademark wit, If you loved the first two novels featuring Jen Dixon, you do not want to miss Yoga Pant Nation!

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest feedback.

I LOVE THIS SERIES! This book was a great addition to this series - book 1 was still my favorite, but this was a great wrap-up on being class mom for her (now) 5th grade son. I love how we've followed her all the way through elementary and it was a great ending to the series.

I am typically not one for a series, but I read Class Mom years ago (of course not knowing there would be two more!) and now I will follow Jen Dixon and her snarky emails wherever she goes! Jen’s son is now in fifth grade, she is a newly minted spin instructor, it’s her last hurrah as class mom, and she is tasked with raising $10,000 this year to buy iPads for the school. This book is just as irreverent and laugh out loud funny as the first two. I flew through it and just couldn’t put it down! If you read Class Mom and You’ve Been Volunteered go grab Yoga Pant Nation right now!!

Yoga Pant Nation is the third book in the Class Mom/You've Been Volunteered series. Jen Dixon is back as the snarky class mom who has opinions about everyone and anyone. She doesn't care about most things but she certainly loves her family and meddling in other people's business. She is sarcastic and for someone who can relate to the classroom antics - hilarious.

In this book, Jen Dixon is in charge of fundraising. She also is teaching spin classes and both of these things result in plenty of amusing interactions. This is a light, quick read and as long as you aren't easily offended, it is very funny.

For anyone that has ever been in a school, had kids in a school, or volunteered for anything relating to a school, you will certainly relate. This book is the third in the series and you don't have to read the other two, but it certainly helps. Many of the characters are brought back and they aren't really explained unless you remember them from the previous books.

Laurie Gelman does not disappoint with her 3rd installment of the Class Mom series which follows the ever hilarious, ever relatable Jen Dixon as she navigates yet another school year. I thoroughly enjoyed this book as much as the first 2, and was delighted to discover that Gelman is currently working on book 4. If you haven't read these books yet, stop reading my mediocre review and have at it---these books are delightful.

I only picked this book because it was written by Laurie Gelman. I have never read her books before, but saw her on Watch What Happens Live. I also know of her husband, Michael Gelman, so figured I would give it a chance. When I requested the book I had no idea if it was more biographical or fiction. I was happy to learn it was fictional. I think Jen Dixon is a normal mom who volunteers because of the pressure, but really doesn't want to get too far into it. She reminds me of the "Bad Moms" characters. The way she moves along with her family and the love she shows others who show up for Thanksgiving and Christmas, those people are true CHARACTERS, by the way, is the way we all should be to strangers and family alike But, when one of those guests threatens to tear her family apart, she has to go into action. We can all relate to a momma bear ready to fight tooth and nail.

Jen has gotten herself into situations, but the way she maneuvers through them and gets her family through is a great testament to what a mother can do. Recommend this book if you want to feel good about your life and know that YOU ARE NORMAL. Well, maybe not, but who's to judge.

Thank you net galley. Enjoyed the book however I did not think that it was as good as the first or second Class MOm books by Laurie Gelman. Wish I was this type of class mom when my children were younger.

I did not enjoy this as much as I wanted to. I felt like the snarky mom thing was overdone and it tried too hard. I think this series of class mom books just isn't something I can get into!

This was my first book by Laurie Gelman - I LOVED IT!
Jen Dixon is the mom that everyone wants to befriend. She is in her 40's and finding that she would like to take on as a new spin instructor. You know, while balancing her duties as a 5th-grade homeroom mom, taking care of her granddaughter when her daughter is working, preparing the homemade family meals (ha), and running the PTA's fundraising committee - We FUKCT (we fundraiser until kingdom come team) - can you imagine being on THAT committee?
The sarcasm and the genuine family interactions are what kept me reading this fast-paced book. That and that almost every chapter begins with a fabulous email to the committee or to her homeroom parents. The emails that you would WANT to send out. Now that I have found this delightful little book series I will have to track down the first two in this series of three.
Wonderfully written and the sarcasm is perfect and I can't wait to see what is in store for Jen Dixon - jr. high and high school dynamics within the parent volunteers are sure to be hilarious. I truly enjoyed this fantabulous book.

Thank you to NetGalley, Laurie Gelman, and the publisher for the advanced reader's copy.
