Lucas Jackson is demanding but the one thing he needs today is to be left alone. He doesn’t want his current girl he is seeing at his house, so he gets rid of her. When his secretary shows up though, she is not deterred by his gruff behavior.

Emma Gray would rather be home but her boss left important paperwork. She doesn’t know what is haunting him but when a moment turns into a night they both know it can’t happen again. However, Lucas keeps Emma by his side and while Emma is falling in love, Lucas doesn’t believe in love. What will happen when each reaches it’s breaking point.

I liked this but thought the ending was a little contradictory with what was going on with Emma. The story did have some little clues so you are not exactly sure what is going on with Lucas and what secrets Emma holds until they are revealed. I would check out more then the series.
