Cassie moved to a place she thought she could put down roots. Tired of moving place to place, she believes she has found home. As a teacher she takes her job seriously and when she witnesses an incident with bullying, she intervenes. What Cassie doesn't realize is that she has just put a big target on her back.

Lincoln Blair is curious about Cassie and when he is asked to team up with her and come up with an anti-bully plant he finds it hard to resist her. However Linc is looking for someone who plans to stay and neither of them have admitted what they really want from one another. With the bully becoming increasingly more dangerous where Cassie is concerned, Linc is by her side but will he get their in time?

This was good but the back and forth between Cassie and Linc dragged a bit. I liked the overall idea of this story and it really brought out some of the frustration when dealing with bullies. Entertaining.
