Another great read by Kerrigan Byrne, which closes out the Crimson Rogues Trilogy.

The book starts with a gruesome crime where several people are murdered. The two survivors of the crime find each other later in life, both seeking revenge for the crime that changed their lives. Francesca is an unapologetically, strong heroine while Chandler is a master of disguise and well trained spy/assassin.. It's an interesting twist to the story that while we know who each of them are, and what they meant to each other in the past, the characters do not know who the other truly is. The sexual chemistry between these two is off the charts and this is a thrilling story!

Thank you to NetGalley and St Martin’s Press for the ARC. This is my honest review.

I enjoyed the book. I thought that the storyline was well done. I enjoyed Chandler's character and thought he and Francesca were well suited for each other. Overall, I enjoyed this series.

A super ending to The Crimson Rogues Trilogy.

Ms Byrne has come up with yet another string narrative for the third of the Crimson friends, Francesca. Her married friends Alexandra and Cecilia are onto theagenda she has undertaken and are unable to make her give up her dangerous pursuit.

The book starts with a harsh incident that creates the whole narrative for Francesca. There is no real suspense as to the relationship between the protagonists Francesca and Chandler. The readers know who
They are while the characters themselves do not. The mystery is Chandlers past which is not revealed till the end, a good twist there.

There lots of good stuff in the narrative, however for readers who have enjoyed ms Byrne’s Victorian Rebels, this might be a meh! Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good mystery historical romance with all the right ingredients however, when you have read such strong books, you tend to expect more.

No spoilers from me, it’s a good story, definitely 4.5 stars. I just wish there was an EPILOGUE for the rogues and their HEA.

Perhaps Ms Byrne, may come up with s holiday novella or something for the trio at a later date. I can only hope :)

A thank you to NetGalley and St Martin’s Press for the ARC to read and review. A Fantastic ending to the Red Rogues series. Francesca is determined to find the culprits that murdered her family and she will do absolutely anything it takes to gain access to the Crimson Council. She is intercepted by the man known as the Devil of Dorset who cannot get her out of his mind.

Twists and surprises along the way. Kerrygan Byrne delivers as always.

Having read the first two books in the Devil You Know series, I was already anticipating an emotional rollercoaster ride, I was not wrong. Right from the first sentence you were told of heartbreak to come. You read snippets of Francesca/Pippa in the previous books and like with Alexandra and Cecilia, I knew Francesca was going to be a strong heroine. But when you finally read her story you realize how truly strong she is. Ever since she lost her family and friends all those years ago her entire life has been about avenging their deaths. Her methods are definitely unconventional, especially in that time period and that was what made her so fascinating. She was fearless and a fighter, she was such a bada$$! Right when she was finally going to get her answers, she catches the eye of the man they call the Devil of Dorset. He is a chameleon and has actually met her a few times in different disguises and each time she has enchanted him. But as attracted he was to her, he was also very skeptical of who she says she is and he is determined to find out the truth. As he pursues learning all there is to know about the Countess of Mount Claire, the mutual attraction becomes too hard to deny. The sexual tension and chemistry between these two are off the charts! But they also learn that they have a common goal, to take down the Crimson Council, a depraved secret society that may have been involved in the massacre of her family. As they work together, they develop strong feelings for each other but they are both keeping secrets that could derail everything.

There are so many twists and turns in their story and so many moments I was dreading, and when a particular secret was revealed the reaction was brutal. But when they are both remembered and are reminded of what they mean to each other, the reunion and happily ever after was all worth it.

The Devil in Her Bed was a fantastic conclusion to this highly emotional series. All three of the “Red Rogues” and their other half truly put me through a range of emotions. There were many moments that just broke my heart and then made me swoon with all the love they had for each other. A wonderful series and I highly recommend all of them.

Thank you Netgalley and St. Martin’s Press for giving me the opportunity to read this complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

It was wonderful to read the last book in the Red Rogues series. The story started out with a devastating tragedy. Francesca and Declan's lives are changed at a very young age. The way they grow from their tragic paths is magnificent. However, I liked Francesca's journey better. She dedicated everything to avenge her loved ones. She took risks, spent all of her life working towards one goal. So it kind of made me angry that Declan didn't recognize her abilities. His anger at her was unwarranted and his memories of her as a young girl were extremely skewed. I didn't really like him and I wish Francesca wouldn't have forgiven him so easily.

“The Devil In Her Bed” by Kerrigan Byrne is the third book in her “Devil You Know” trilogy. It was a fast paced romance that fulfilled my expectations.
In this final installment we get the third “Red Rogue” Francesca Cavendish’s back story.
Both Francesca and her childhood crush shared wonderful memories until tragedy struck leaving Francesca with her fellow “Red Rogues” as family and a need for vengeance for her lost loved ones from her childhood that she is willing to go to whatever lengths to get. She does not care what polite society says about her. She knows she is getting close to finding the answers she needs.
He is called the “Devil of Dorset” and he works for the Crown undercover. His disguises and his abilities to take on different personas make him an asset from the shadows. He is willing to do whatever it takes to complete his mission. Now Francesca has come into his sights. Little does he know that he has met his equal in more ways then one.
When these two come together their secrets may help or hinder their causes. The question then is can they work together to achieve their common goals and have a HEA?
A good read for a quiet evening. And it is always nice to catch-up with prior characters though the story could stand alone and the reader not get lost.

The Devil in Her Bed is exquisitely written from the first page to the last. I couldn’t put it down, yet I did not want it to end. The stories of not only the main characters, but also the secondary characters, are compelling, believable, and heartwarming. The personalities weave in and out and crate a lovely pattern of intrigue and resolution.

Actually, this book isn't for me. After a few chapters, I decided not to finish reading. Although historical fiction is my favorite genre, I'll take a pass on this one. Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Words can't describe how much I absolutely loved the final book in the Red Rogues/Devil You Know series .Francesca is a woman bent on revenge and has no problem sacrificing her reputation and even her life to avenge her family. We've been able to see her fiercely loyal and protective to those that she loves in the first two books and now we get to see where it started and exactly how deep it goes.

While trying to infiltrate a secret society to unmask who was behind the slaughter of her family twenty years ago she runs into her hero and they cannot explain how or why they are so attracted and drawn to each other. The hero is a mysterious and elusive spy with multiple identities who can sense that there is something about Francesca that he is drawn and is determined to find out her secrets.

There isn't too much that can be said without giving spoilers away but the love story between these two is filled with sexual tension and old tragedy that makes you cheer when they finally get their HEA.

If you're familiar with Kerrigan's writing style you would have been able to pick up on clues that she left throughout the previous books to predict twists and how the story would play out but even with being an avid reader she was able to give me a few that I wasn't expecting and made the book so much more enjoyable.

I think that this was an amazing ending to a great series and I hope that we are able to see more of the Red Rogues in the future and possibly have them interact with the Victorian Rebels characters.

This is the first book I have read in this series and I was able to follow most of the plot.

This started off well but the whole thing fell apart towards the end.

Francesca is an awesome heroine and the hero doesn't deserve her.

The lust was high but the love isuneven between them.It was a general disappointment.

I received a copy through Netgalley

A fitting end to The Devil you Know series. I adored these three fierce women and their loyalty and love for each other. I loved watching each win their HEA with the strong bold men who were their match in every way. Exciting plots, emotional twists and drool worthy romance make all three books must reads.

Hi,

I was unable to finish the book. The story did not hold my attention. I found it confusing and boring. I did not warm to Franchesca or Declan.

This one was just meh. It was literally bland and middling. You could do better on here.

I so love Kerrigan Byrne and this was definitely a good end to this series. I loved the characters although I had to bring my mind to remembrance of some of the characters from the earlier books in the series. This indeed is Kerrigan Byrne and I liked seeing how the whole story transitioned to the HEA. Just a delightful read and truly enjoyed.

This book was crazy. The good kind of crazy. In true Kerrigan Byrne fashion, it grabs you in the first few pages and you are stuck. There is no way you're reading this prologue, thinking, meh, and walking away. Nope. Not happening. It is a hook and that is that. I fell in love with the heroine within the first few pages, and that did not fade. I adore her. She is bold and beautiful, and everything amazing.

The hero is similarly amazing. He has lived such a wild life. He has been through it. His story is tragic, but beautiful. I loved his story. I love him all the way from the beginning to the end. I loved him as a small boy, and I love him in the end. This book was a trial for me. I loved it, but it was a trial. I wanted to scream JUST TELL HIM!! BUT I get it. It is easy to say "everything would work out if you just communicate!!" from the outside. It is much more difficult when you are actually going through it.
The story is amazing. It is fully satisfying. The plot is engaging and fully concludes. It does not end on a cliffhanger. Seriously there are so many good things to say about this story. I could go on and on all day. I will stop so as not to be too wordy, but I really do have so much love for this story. I absolutely recommend that you grab this book.

This was a great historical romance that could be read as part of a series or as a standalone. I loved the complexities of the main characters who are drawn together despite secrets about their shared past. Other adjectives that I could use to describe this novel: Powerful, Intense, Hot! The only thing that unnerved me was the violence at the beginning of the book, but by the end I understood the reason for it. I can't wait to read another romance from this author. I received an advanced reader's copy from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

Kerrigan Byrne is one of my favorite Historical Romance authors. She writes her heroes usually very damaged. This is absolutely true for this story's hero. The heroine of this book has been one of my absolute favorites. She is strong, focused, and ultimately one of the most kick *ss heroines I've read in any Historical Romance.

I have been so intrigued by Francesca's story since we were introduced to her in the first book in the Devil You Know series. These Red Rogues have been a joy to read and I have absolutely loved that they are strong willed women, that support each other no matter what. Chandler and Francesca twisted past allows them to learn and love, even as they attempt to champion over the Crimson Council. So many secrets are kept and revealed. So many ah-ha moments!

"Chandler wiped at the blood on his lip, staring at her mutely. Magnificent. Impressive. Brilliant. He couldn't find enough words to describe the sheer stunning gloriousness of her."

While this is a standalone, I feel this series should be read in order as we gather so much more background on each character and how the Red Rogues grew up.

I devoured this beauty in one day. Hands down loved it. Favorite Kerrigan Byrne heroine to date!

I love this series so much. I have waited on this book from the first book and it did not disappoint. This story is about the Devil of Dorset and Francessa. I love how Kerrigan Byrne's book have some dark twists because it keep you on your toes. This is the third book of the series and I would say it would be good to read all of them. I love the characters and the plots.

I’ve read several of Kerrigan Byrne’s novels, but none from this series. It is the third book in the series so I did fear I would possibly be a little lost. I was not. This story included most of the important information from the first two in the series so I didn’t feel out of step. What I didn’t even fathom was the horrific and depraved villainous group that three women had been determined to crush below their slippers, The Crimson Council.

The summary intrigued me, but it did leave much out. So much so, I am not entirely sure I can write this review without any spoilers. I am going to try.

Francesca Cavendish lost her entire world as a girl when a death brigade invaded her home and murdered almost everyone beneath the roof before it was set ablaze. Her body, mind, and soul craved revenge for the most heinous act. She’s waited twenty years for it all to come to fruition. When she can almost touch the ribbons attached to the guilty’s final demise, a man of many faces enters to reach for them with her.

The Devil of Dorset has gone by many names throughout his lifetime. Four different times he has entered Francesca’s life, all by different names and none of them were the name he was born with. As the Devil and Francesca find they have a common task to destroy The Crimson Council, the Devil wants Francesca far from any danger. She has spent decades of her life waiting to cut the council down and not even the Devil will stop her.

This story has so many twists and turns that I was afraid Byrne would never be able to bring the story to a clear conclusion. Yet, she did exactly that. With explosive and passionate love scenes, the danger Francesca places herself in, and the chances the Devil takes to keep her safe are felt deep down in your bones. I wish I could give this a million stars, it was just that fantastic. I have no trouble saying this is the best book I’ve read this year. If you love danger, passion, and revenge in your historical romance, this is the novel for you! Now, I must go back and read the firs two novels in the series, How to Love a Duke in Ten Days and All Scot and Bothered.

I received The Devil in Her Bed (Devil You Know, #3) for free. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
