This book was not what I expected. I didn't realize until I began reading it that it was not written from a Christian perspective, so I ended up skimming through it, as there were so many things that I don't go along with. For many people, however, it would be very helpful as they work through the grief of losing a child. For myself, having lost a teenager as well as four unborn babies, my faith in Jesus was the biggest key to surviving and working through the grief. This author does have many good pointers; the book just wasn't for me.
I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley, and these are my honest thoughts about it.
