I loved reading and watching The Handmaid's Tail and I decided to re-watch the first season while reading this Bingewatcher's Guide. It was like having a conversation with a friend about the episodes.

Each chapter covers one episode. Reminder, there will be spoilers! The chapters start with a quote and give and extensive exploration of the story of the episode. Trigger warnings are included at the beginning of each chapter, which I loved because the series is full of gruesome happenings. The chapters end with a self-care suggestion.

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to watch The Handmaid's Tail. It's a lovely companion that makes you feel you are not alone and that reminder you that we are not in Gilead.
