A cute read that goes by quickly. It's a well written second chance love story that is sweet and may even make you tear up. Personally, I felt it lacked a little depth as there was so much unanswered when I finished and I never felt like I really knew the characters. But it is a good escape read that doesn't require a lot of investment :)

This is one of those books where you alternating between wanting to hug the author and wanting to punch them. This was an emotional rollercoaster of a read, with just a touch of humor. I was unprepared for the depth of characters that this book would present. Chloe and Noah were beautifully written and will stay with me for awhile.

Having not read the other two books in the series (don't worry, I'll remedy that, I promise!) I had no idea what I was in for. This book had me laughing and crying often, sometimes on the same page. I couldn't put it down, and finished it in one night. Jasmin Miller is now an author I need to add to my Kindle reading list.

Second Dive is the third book in the Kings of Water series and it's the first Jasmin Miller book I've read. It was a quick, easy second chance romance. I liked it well enough but it lacked depth, drama and passion. I wanted more. Nothing really went on apart from the romance apart from a half-hearted storyline about Noah's career. I would have like the novel to be more fleshed out. Even after I finished Second Dive, I didn't really feel like I knew who Chloe was. I also felt as if the end of the novel was slightly rushed. Overall, it was a good read but not very memorable. Saying that I would continue with the series with Hope's of reading more about Hunter and Noah's sister.

What a wonderful second chance romance!

When I got the ARC for this book I decided to start the series from the beginning and I haven't been able to put these books down! Jasmin Miller has become a new favorite author.

Noah and Chloe were in love, but she broke it off suddenly via text message. Now, 10 years later, they are back in each other's lives and maybe they can make it work this time around. Their story was sweet, a little sad, and a lot hopeful. I loved seeing them work through their past as secrets and reasons for their original break up came to light. They certainly didn't always handle things perfectly, but it was easy to see that they never stopped loving each other.

This story can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the entire series!

If I'm being honest... I didn't expect to love this book as much as I did. I didn't really know what to expect, as I have never read something by this author before and never heard of this series before.

Despite not having read the first two books in the series, I had no problem getting into the story. The author's writing style is very engaging and I found myself forgetting the world around me when I was reading the book.
After meeting Chloe and Noah I couldn't help but like them and over the course of the story, I quickly started loving them. I really got the impression that they were fleshed out, and considering it's a second chance romance, you could tell that they had a past together and you got glimpses of their past throughout the story. From the moment on Chloe and Noah reconnected, you could feel the chemistry between them and I found myself rooting for them to get together and work through all their problems/secrets from the past.
While it was an absolute joy to read about Chloe and Noah, it was also a bittersweet and emotional read. I truly felt for the characters and I might've had some tears in my eyes at certain points in the story. This book truly gave me all the feels, especially towards the ending.

I never really read second chance romances, but I'm glad that I gave this one a chance. It's one of my favourite books of the year and I will certainly pick up the other two books of the series and the author's other books.

Wow, I blew this book in practically once sitting! From page one I was hooked by the main characters, Noah and Chloe. The angst and tension just oozed of the pages and I felt like I was transported into the pages right along with the characters. I liked that the author did not drag on the secrets until the very end but let us know bit by bit during the book. My only complaint was that for a sports romance, there was not very much sports in it. The romance, heat and tension were perfection though.

This is the first book I have read from Jasmin Miller but I will definitely be reading the first two books in this series!.

Wellllllll this book rocked me in a way I wasn't expecting. Second chance with some sports? Jilted hero? A decade of secrets? Yeah sure sign me up. I love all of those things.

What I didn't expect was to be crying on my couch emotionally gutted while these two characters somehow found their way back to each other after a decade of heartbreak and unresolved tension. Literally full on ugly crying.

I just... I can't fully review this book without spoilers, so I'm going to keep my mouth shut. But what I will say, is that Noah is enrapturing and one heck of a hero, and Chloe was just inspiring and funny and I just wanted to hold her and protect her from the world. These two people were completely unexpected but I really loved every minute of it. This definitely won't be my last book by Jasmin Miller.

Chloe is finally back home in San Francisco, back with her friends, her family, and her past... She left the love of her life, Noah, ten years ago when her life was turned upside down. Noah, a talented swimmer with Olympic potential, had a bright career ahead of him that Chloe didn't want to get in the way of. Chloe now has a successful career of her own, but something is still holding her back from enjoying her life. Noah, after winning Olympic gold, is faced with tough decisions of his own -- what does he want from his career now, and why is Chloe back in his life after breaking his heart ten years ago? These two will have a lot of soul searching to do in order to forgive one another and figure out what kind of future they want -- either with each other, or without...

Thoughts: I absolutely loved this book! This is the third in Miller's Kings of the Water series, but can be read as a standalone. I didn't read the first two but now I can't wait to get my hands on them! Chloe is such a likable character who has gone through so much in her young life. And it's hard to dislike someone who is so altruistic. What I appreciated, though, was that she wasn't self-sacrificing in the, "You should've just told him," way -- readers can totally sympathize with why she ran from Noah ten years ago and why she's wary of getting too close to him once they reunite. And Noah... Wow. Noah. He's not perfect, but he admits his own mistakes and his love for Chloe is so strong that he refuses to let anything get in the way while also being realistic about what life has thrown at them. Their chemistry is totally on-point that readers can't help but root for them. This book is full of all the emotions, even way after the last page. Life is messy, life is sad, and life is beautiful -- Miller captures all of this and more in Second Dive.

I enjoyed this book but reflecting on it I have become a little frustrated. I really liked Chloe. She’s was strong while still being sympathetic. I liked Noah but got tired of him being mad about things that weren’t really about him. I also enjoyed the side characters. I have not read any of the other books in the series but my guess that a couple of Noah’s friends that are married with kids are the main couples in the first two books in the series. This book 100% works on its own. I do think that people who come into this book wanting a true sports romance will be slightly disappointed; yes Noah is a pro-athlete but he spends very little page time swimming. His occupation would be considered “fossils” by the Fated Mates podcast and could have been exchanged for any other occupation and not changed the story.

My biggest frustration is that the book didn’t resolve one of the major plot points that determines if this book does or does not have a HEA. I’m going to try to explain this without major spoilers, but if you don’t want any spoilers STOP READING. The way it is written it does have a HEA, but the book flat out states that because of one of the people has an illness they are only expected to live for about another two years. Then that is never mentioned again. Like okay, sure they’re together at the end of the book but the epilogue is two years later. Do they have two days together after the epilogue ends or another 50 years? I literally would not have known the life expectancy for this illness but the author included it in the book (it’s not something that’s common knowledge), so I feel like that should have been addressed.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and will probably read other books by Jasmin Miller.

Where has Jasmin Miller been during my reading binges? This was the first book of hers that I picked up, but it won't be the last. I love her style. Since this was the 3rd book in a series (but is fine as a standalone book), I decided to quickly read the first two books in this series (Secret Plunge and Fresh Meet). They were both short enough to easily read in a day - and I really enjoyed them to boot.

Second Dive is the story of one of the four Olympic swimmers that this series follows. This story is about Noah. We learned in the earlier two books that Noah is a quiet, brooding guy - and that he must have been hurt by a female in the past. Well, Second Dive is the story where we find out what happened to him and see what his future will hold.

This book also introduces Chloe, who was Noah's high school girlfriend. She broke his heart when she left him after high school and broke up with him via text. She moves back after 10 years and Noah is not happy to see her at all - he apparently holds grudges.

They are forced together through unusual circumstances and they start to find their footing again. This is a sweet story that I enjoyed. If the first three books in this series (and I hope we have a 4th book in the series about Hunter) are any indication to Ms. Miller's books, I'm going to look for more of her stories. They are low angst - but still has drama. Grab this book - I loved it.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

Another win in this series. A perfect balance or heat and emotion as Noah and Chloe fight against a much needed second chance. Jasmin has once again provided a great binge read that will make you take a closer look when at a public pool. I really can't wait for Hunter's turn.
I received an advanced copy of this book from Netgalley for my honest review.

This was my first book by Jasmin Miller but it will not be the last! I flew through this book. I loved the writing and the characters. It was a great second chance romance.

This story was so emotional and so beautiful I fell in love with Chloe and Noah!

It was amazing getting to read their second chance! I love a book that has some realism to it and I defiantly could connect to these two!

I also have to say that the secondary characters are also amazing and totally took this book over the top!

My heart took a beating in this book. I’m really happy that Noah and Chloe and that they got their HEA.

This is my first book by this author and I somehow missed it was book three in the series. This was a sweet second chance romance. Noah and Chloe were teen sweethearts but a life changing event has her breaking up with Noah. Ten year later they meet again, all the feelings are still there. Once Noah finds out what Chloe had been hiding all these years, he vows to never waste a single moment of their time together.

“Because even when my heart was ripped out and there was nothing left of it, I could still feel his imprint deep inside me like it had never left. He was a part of me, engrained so profoundly within my essence that I would never be able to let go of him entirely for as long as I lived.”

This lovely book really tugged at my heartstrings. The past year, I have developed a fondness for second chance romances. I see them as stories where two people are meant to be together, but life takes them on a detour. There’s also tragedy in these kind of stories, all the missed time…

Second Dive was a wonderful second chance romance with so much heart. Noah Winters is a swimmer, but his passion has been waning. His life is not where he had hoped it would be at 29 and whether he’s willing to admit to it or not, he’s lonely. Chloe Williams is an artist. She’s returned to her hometown after a decade away and desperately wants to make amends with Noah, the boy she loved and left. These two soulmates with a heavy past must decide whether they have a future together.

This book was so much more than what I had been expecting going into it. At one point, the story took a turn that changed everything. I loved the characters, the romance, and the profound wisdom that the author leaves for the reader. I think one of the main lessons of Chloe and Noah’s story is letting go of fear and taking chances on happiness.

This is the first book I’ve read in the Kings of Water series and it won’t be my last. Second Dive releases December 10th.

I received an ARC and voluntarily reviewed this book.

I'd like to thank Netgalley and the author Jasmin Miller for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I totally didn't pay attention that this was the third book in this series when I signed up for it. Now saying that it was a stand alone and I had no trouble reading it. I'm just curious for the other two couples stories.
First off I loved the title. It's pretty clever introducing a second chance at love story. Noah and Chloe started dating in high school and were inseparable. They even planned their futures together. Chloe went away with her parents and in one single text broke things off with Noah. Skip to ten years later when she shows back up in town and ends up moving across the street from Noah and their paths cross in the same crowds. The sparks are still there, the hurt is still there, they find the love is still there.
Great second chance at love story. A quick read. There are a few laughs and some tears. Everything you want in a HEA.

In this book, we have a second chance love. Noah and Chloe have been separated for 10 years for reasons that we don't know going in. There is romance, conflicts, art, pinning, and much more to this book. Jasmin Miller managed to create an interesting story where the reader gets emotionally involved with the book.
Chloe was a great female main character. She is passionate about what she does, has a very supportive family, but she has taken many falls through her life, and that makes her a very relatable character. Seeing her romance with Noah bloom again and move forward was so nice, that they were able to communicate with each other after a few bumps in the road, what great too. Noah was a very sweet man. Even if Chloe left him, and after all this time he didn't have answers, he never stopped loving her. I am glad he realizes it soon in the book, that way we saw their love grow and mature.
It was a good book, definitely left me wanting to read more from the author.

This book starts off interesting and captures your attention fairly easy. However, when Noah and Chloe actually sit down to have a much-needed conversation after 10 years, nothing happens. The rest of the book is much that way. They have chance encounters but nothing is really happening to repair their relationship. I think the idea was to be less melodramatic (as Chloe mentions) but it doesn't really gain any reader sympathy. This is an okay read, but it leaves you with questions that were never answered.
