Such a cute and adorable book! It was very short and took only a few minutes to read but I loved everything from the colourful artwork to the sweet words and the ending.

What a sweet and loving story this is for a very small child. This would be perfect for laptime reading and bonding and for a quick nighttime story. The illustrations are very comforting.

This would make for a great baby shower gift. Its short and very simple but the pictures are interesting to look at and my one year old enjoyed looking at it. There are many books on the market that are along the same premise and I own many book with this same content but it is still sweet.

Thank you Netgalley, Guido Van Genechten, and clavis publishing for the free book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a very short, sweet story that is perfect to read to young ones. The point across the book is to help little ones feel confident and secure with their parents that care so much about them.

This is a very sweet picture book for toddlers. It's about making sure they know how much their parents care about them, in all sorts of ways. The illustrations are adorable little animals and young children will surely love them. Adorable sentiment and, even better, not entirely mind-numbing (for parents) read.

This is a sweet little picture book with a very simple story. It’s a fairly short book. I’d say it would be best for babies and maybe toddlers. The illustrations are cute and colorful.

I did take off a star because there is a lack of punctuation and proper capitalization which I found to be distracting. I had to catch where the sentence was ending and not make it one big run on when I was reading it. I feel like I was looking for some rhyming or a repetitive pattern, and it wasn’t there. Maybe it was the lack of punctuation, that made some of the sentences seem a little awkward. Perhaps based on the intended age group for this book, these elements weren’t of importance to the author.

In any case, this would be a good, short bedtime story.

I thought that this was a lovely little book!

It was easy to read and the illustrations are lovely, I read this one with my daughter and she really enjoyed it. This would be a great first book to read with a young one and a great board book to keep.

Highly recommended – 4 stars from me for this one!

I was granted complimentary access to an eARC of I'll Always Hold Your Hand by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I'll Always Hold Your Hand is a cute picture book for very young children. The "story" (no plot, it's a toddler level picture book) is a parent speaking in the first person to their child, telling them everything they do and always will do for their child. The illustrations are absolutely adorable and feature a variety of animals as the "I" and "you" on each page before ending on a human child. It's an absolute joy to look at with such a sweet sentiment. My only critique is that it needs punctuation so we know when a cluster of lines is one sentence or multiple sentences. There's also an illustration where the child is saying "mommy, daddy" but it has been split into "mom my dad dy" to create that sense of stilted talk that's common in the early days of learning to speak, but "mom my" reads as two separate, completely intelligible words and I had to look twice.

Super cute book for toddlers to teach them about how we love and care for them! The pics are fun, using animals instead of kids. This book is perfect for my toddler and I can't wait to get it for him!!

‘I’ll Always Hold Your Hand’ is an adorable read perfect for bedtime. The art style is befitting to the younger audience as it is illustrated with a colourful and bright palette yet with soft undertones featuring cute animals. I found the read quick and sweet, however, think that a little bit of rhyme could enrich the narrative.

Overall, this is a great read with an endearing message of parental love.

I'll Always Hold Your Hand is a cute little book with lovely illustrations. In my opinion it was a little young for my 4 year old son but he seemed to enjoy it and he loved identifying the animals in each picture,

A book about how your parents will always be there for you. Which is a lovely sentiment, of course, but we're really here for the illustrations. The pictures are very sweet.

As a toddler I enjoyed chewing on my favourite picture books. I'm sure I would have happily chewed on this one.

"I'll Always Hold Your Hand" is a perfect book to read to babies and toddlers. A mom tells her animal children all the things she will do to take care of her baby. She says she will always hold his/her hand.

A pleasant lullaby of parental love, as the narrative voice of this tiny little read for tiny little audiences shows that whatever the task, and whatever the cute little animal, the baby will always be loved. And fed, and changed, and played with, and bathed, and mollycoddled, and the parent will always keep their laundry tab thingies in those bloody unopenable boxes just in case the feeding bit left bab a bit too hungry for its own good. Despite my realism, I mean cynicism, this is a nice way to inspire connection from parent to offspring through the pages of a book.

This is a beautiful little children's board book for babies and toddlers, which has cute pictures of baby animals being looked after by their parents, who are showing them how much they care for them and how they will always be there for them. I loved this book, which I read with my daughter. We both loved the baby animals.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I'll Always Hold Your Hand is an adorably illustrated story of parental love. The artwork of baby animals is cute, expressive, and rendered in a cozy, bright color palette. The text doesn't live up to the illustrations, and as some other reviewers have noted, the lack of capitalization and punctuation makes it an awkward read; it could also benefit from some kind of rhyme, rhythm, or repetition pattern to give it a kind of structure and shape. Still, it's a sweet, cute book, appropriate for a quiet storytime or bedtime read-aloud.

Thank you to Clavis Publishing and NetGalley for the advance review copy!

A sweet little story perfect for bedtime reading to babies and toddlers. The illustrations are charming and colorful, sure to catch the child's eye.
My main critique is the lack of capitalization and punctuation in every sentence, which made it feel like I was stumbling through run-on sentences. If a child has this when they're learning to read, they'll miss that integral part of sentence structure which can be confusing. It seemed like an omission based on a desired look of simplicity more than deep thought into teaching.
