Review to come February 2nd on my blog.
I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.
I was quite curious about this book. Despite being 18+ I still always love books about subjects like farts, I guess I will never grow up. :P I was curious about what the secret life of a fart or farts would be. I like the the book cover has a whoopee cushion (or Lordie Cushions we have to believe Aunty Donna :P ).
In this book we read about different kind of farts and about why farts are so great. In this book wae see a fart from a cook who gets startled by a robber, but also a diver underwater who makes such a big fart bubble a fish gets stuck in it, or the classic farts in an elevator. And there are many more fun examples.Along the way we see the reactions of animals and people. I had such a big laugh about the different farts and to see how they wafted away out of the butts. But the biggest laugh definitely comes from the reactions of the animals/people.
I like that this was told in verse/rhyme as it made the book more silly and fun to read.
The art/illustrations was fun as well and I really liked the style. It was very colourful and the farts well drawn (like that they also form shapes).
All in all, this was a fun fartastic book about farts. Kids will love it (and adults like me).

The Secret Life of Farts was a fast paced funny, rhyming story about farts and their many adventures. My 8 year old found it very amusing and he had many laugh out loud moments. I believe it’s age appropriate and doesn’t use any inappropriate pictures or wording

'The Secret Life of Farts'- the title drew me in at once.
The book is extremely witty and written in a poetic manner. The illustrations are beautiful and a treat to the eye. Fun read, very cute and perfect for kids. Definitely gave me major Dr.Seuss vibes.

Well who would have thought a 37 year old adult would have laughed out loud about a book about farts! Well this one did!
A quick versed story which were told in rhyme which were actually done very well and weren't just added just because they rhymed which I find some books do.
Perfect book that I am sure will make many children smile - along with their mum's and dads too no doubt.

A witty and fun, very short book about farts written in short poet form supplemented with drawings. It’s a fast read that brightened my day, and gave me some laughs. My favourite thing is the wittiness in the jokey poems, but I wonder if children and youngsters will get all the nuisances in them. Maybe that’s the thing, everyone understands them in their own way. When you need to take a break from reality, you need some laughs, but you’re short of time, read this book!
