this was a really enjoyable read, it was what I was looking for in the sequel of the first book. The characters were great and I really enjoyed getting back to this world again. It was a unique take on scifi.

Revival reminds me a lot of 2001 Space Odyssey. Man goes to a world that is inhabited by three species of creatures that appear related to humans. I enjoyed the book.
