While the story is an interesting one, pulling from numerous paranormal realms, it is also a frustrating one - teenage angst and drama seem to go hand-in-hand with any YA para book these days but sometimes, too much drama is just that - too much!

I'm sorry I was not able to read and review this book before it was archived due to serious health issues.

I must give it credit for the beautiful cover pictured here - very creative and fitting.

But unfortunately this story was not for me.

I will take the blame here because this premise usually fails me, but for some reason I keep coming back to similar books and then it's actually unfair for me to complain about them not being unique and having the same problems.
But I was expecting more - more magic, stronger characters, less convenient situations, again, I blame myself for it more than I blame the book, because this is just not my type of story.

I never checked all the "NO" boxes in the Bookseller Opinion. This book, to summarize all that was wring with it, was INCOMPETENT. Who the hell green-lighted this? It makes absolutely no sense, at all. How convenient was their magic in the end?
What a stupid ending!
