Braden never expected to fall in love with Skye but now that he has he wants to know all of her secrets and while he is sharing a few of his own he is still holding a few back. He thrives on being in charge and all he wants to do is protect her but she is a wild card that stymies him as she doesn’t always react as expected.

Skye is floundering as she doesn’t feel she is meeting anyone’s expectations, either personally or professionally, and that includes her own. She loves Braden and the lifestyle he has shown her but somewhere along the way her assertiveness has changed to uncertainty.

The chemistry between Braden and Skye was never the problem and now we just need to wait until the next book in the series to see if they can overcome the other obstacles standing in their way.

After the cliffhanger in book 1 Follow Me Darkly, I couldn’t wait for this installment and indeed I was not disappointed!
Even hotter, darker and more twisted this read surpassed my expectations!
First off this book cannot be read as a standalone. In this installment, Skye and Braden’s story developed even more revealing some secrets and creating some more.
Well paced, intense and simply seductive, this read was a real page turner!
What I loved the most about this book was that there were elements of Braden’s character that were too mysterious and underdeveloped. In this installment, the author took great care in giving more insight about him and we get a sense of why he’s so mysterious. His lack of transparency and his demands for Skye made this story even more intriguing.
Then the author makes a big reveal at the end book that had me anxiously anticipating what book 3 will bring!
4.5 stars!

Follow me Under is book 2 in a series, and Follow me Darkly must be read first, as this story picks up right where it left of.

Braden and Skye continue to bring sizzling chemistry that jumps off the pages. Their sexual relationship is of BDSM nature, but I would qualify it on the lighter side (no hard core stuff). As their relationship progresses and they continue to explore and play, so does the push/pull, give/take dynamic, which comes with figuring out if you truly trust the other person, not only with your body but with your mind as well.

In book one, I thought Skye held her ground really well and pushed back on Braden, since giving up control outside the bedroom was a non-starter for her. In Follow me Under I found her to be easing up quite a bit. She lost some of that fire as she tries to navigate her relationship with Braden. On the other hand, I also understood that. She is only 24 years old, and honestly I would freak out too and feel insecure at times. I’m glad we get to see what goes on in her head as she is processing and learning.

Now moving on to Braden. He is still controlling, hot and mysterious man just as he was in the first book. We did get to peel some of has layers, but there is more to discover. One bone I really need to pick with him is around the premise of trust. I struggled with his need to keep some things to himself, but also asking Skye to trust him. I get like he was always holiding back.

Overall awesome read, and fun to follow as they further explore bdsm physical aspect of their relationship. Of course, as this is a trilogy you are left with questions and wanting more. So if you hate cliffhangers, wait for the full series to come out. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Book Two in the Follow Me series. Well that was a spicy sexy page turner! Skye is still trying to fumble her way around being the next best social media influencer. While trying to figure out what really happened between her new boyfriend Braden and old boss Addison. Let’s not forget trying to balance friendships and family with the demands of Braden mixed into the layers of drama. I enjoyed reading the second book as much as the first book. Baden is very mysterious but trying to open up to Skye the best way he can. You can truly tell he loves her but doesn’t know how to let her in all the way. The next book can not come fast enough for me. I need To see where these two go next!

Holy Hotness Batman! This story takes Skye deeper into the world of BDSM which Braden enjoys and Skye finally realizes what she has been missing all this time. The sensuality and deep connection that it evokes from her is something that she craves, but how far is she willing to go to please Braden.

Skye's career as an social media influencer is taking off but at what cost? She's feeling as if she is only wanted because she is the girlfriend of Billionaire Braden Black. Is that a bad thing? Is she selling herself short? Only time will tell.

Braden and Skye's relationship is getting deeper, but while they are in love Braden is still holding himself back. He's like an onion you have to peel the layers back to get to the center and with Braden you just don't know how many layers there are or what you will find once you get there. But what I do know is that he has a habit of pushing Skye away whenever things get to close to his past so I am really wondering what skeleton is in his closet. There was one point where I thought I had it figured out but we haven't been clued in yet so I will have to wait until more layers are peeled away in Follow Me Always which is due out in May.

If you enjoy Dark Romance, BDSM Romances, or are looking for a Hot Steamy Read this is the trilogy for you. but you need to read the books in the order of release because FOLLOW ME UNDER picks up right where Follow Me Darkly ended, so be sure to read that book first.

Happy Reading!!!

An addictive & captivating read

If you have not read FOLLOW ME DARKLY, stop right now and read that one first for a better understanding of the story and its characters.

FOLLOW ME UNDER, book #2 in Helen Hardt's Follow Me Series, was so much darker, sexier and delved to a depth that Follow Me Darkly only scraped. Ms. Hardt pushed many limits with her book, her characters, her words, the emotions which she was able to elicit were staggering. This was an addictive, captivating read, mesmerising to the point I was unable to put it down.

"Are you ready, Skye?"
"For all of this?"
"To follow me under. To the darkest side of my fantasies."
"Yes Braden, I'm ready."

Braden Black and Skye Manning's story continues from where book #1 concluded. This time Ms. Hardt gives a darker more sensual instalment that completely blew my mind. It is an exploration of their relationship, the soft and hard limits they both have. honesty and trust are imperative for Braden, he demands both from Skye, yet he is reluctant to answer questions Skye has for him. Their relationship is an intriguing one, both seeking control, yet there is a large amount of giving in by both.

Throughout this book, both Braden and Skye find themselves on a journey. Skye begins to question who she really is, whether her own self is disappearing because she is Braden Black's girlfriend. She makes some interesting decisions, some good - some not so good. Braden on the other hand is evolving, he finds that the walls he has built are slowly starting to crumble, and his emotions are beginning to become involved. The revelation Braden makes toward the end of the book didn't really surprise me, however Skye's reaction definitely did ... especially her actions afterward.

FOLLOW ME UNDER was definitely a mindblowing and thought provoking read. I cannot wait for the next instalment, Follow Me Under, comes out.

This is the second book in the series. You need to read the first book to understand what is going on here.
Skye, with gaining success, is feeling less sure of herself. It seems that success stems more from who she is dating and less from who she is and what she can do. The more Skye tries to grab ahold of her identity, the more her world spins out of control.
Braden is still in love with Skye. However, his mysterious side is playing havoc on her insecurities. He has his business to run and doesn’t truly have time (or desire) to indulge her with her many questions and few requests.
Opinion
Holy mother of all cliffhangers! Surely Ms. Hardt is trying to help keep the medical staff of the world busy by inducing heart attacks with her writing. This book is an absolute must for those of you who like books more on the darker side. I’m not quite sure how she manages it but she is the ring master of the book world with the way she can spin a tale.
Many thanks to Net Galley for providing me with an ARC of this book.

Decadent, delicious, and dangerously addictive. Once you read the first page you won’t be able to put this down. You’ll be left sleep deprived but oh so satisfied. With pages of Braden and Skye under his every control and command. This was full of steamy, sex and hot, passion as they indulge in all of his secret desires. And Skye goes deeper than even Braden can imagine.

But Skye seems to becoming lost in her relationship with Braden as everything in her life is changing. Worried that what has happened in his past could leave her lost without him, as she starts to lose herself in his world of absolute trust and control. In her need to know the truth - in her need to control - Skye exhibited an utter lack of control. As Braden starts to open up even more to her will his love be able to save her from herself.

Titillation so masterfully woven no reader can resist its pull. Waiting anxiously for the next in this series. A must buy series.

I loved book 1. I was so exited to see where their story went but this book was flat for me. There wasn’t much character growth and I felt like it was the same argument over and over. I was disappointed in these characters and tried to love it. I just couldn’t. Thank you Entangled publishing for a chance to read.

First I want to say, this book is NOTHING like 50 Shades of Grey (even though the Author mentions it in the beginning herself) it is absolutely, positively SO MUCH BETER!!!!

That being said let's back up and start from the beginning of book 2....

You must read book 1 before reading this book, which is book 2 in the follow me darkly series. Skye and Braden's relationship is absolute fire and gunpowder. It's like watching a standoff and you know something is going to happen and you are on the edge of your seat but you just don't quite know what that is. The entire time flipping through the pages frantically trying to discover just how much more of this Skye is actually going to be able to take.

Braden is use to the spotlight, use to the control in relationships (which let's be honest they weren't real relationships) and he is use to always getting his way. Here comes Skye who also is always in control in situations, carries herself very well and is quite brilliant too. When their relationship ignites in book 1 it's a fiery passion that really set the book on fire. I could really see where you could get the comparison of this and 50 shades of grey with the domination/submissive traits but I also don't see the correlation because these characters have so much more depth to them.

Skye and Braden are in love and this really takes Braden by surprise because he never really thought he was capable of loving anyone. You can really see this develop through this second book as well because his walls really start to get tore down by Skye piece by piece when she is hurting and she really needs him. His feelings truly start deepening and as a reader you can actually see and start feeling the same emotions that Braden is feeling right on that very page.

Skye is having a hard time relinquishing that control she is use to having. She wants to know why Braden and Addison Ames (her ex boss) broke up those many years ago and she feels like Braden is hiding something. With this secret looming over their relationship she doesn't feel like she will ever truly get close to him. With her thrust in to the spotlight fame she has gained, plus her ex-boss Addison lurking in the shadows at every turn and Braden seeming like he is keeping secrets all the while demanding her to open up, you can see Skye loosing it piece by piece as the pages turn.

I feel that we could have seen Braden open up a bit more and become more of a compassionate boyfriend through this book but when I think about it I feel Helen Hardt did an amazing job and portraying Braden because if you open him up too fast it seems unrealistic and if you do it too slow then it seems he doesn't care about Skye like he says he does.

With this cliffhanger that we are left with at the end of the book I can't wait for the final book in this trilogy to release later on! I have so many questions and my anxiety will definitely get the best of me as I anxiously await the release of the 3rd and final book. This is a master piece of a trilogy, definitely a must buy and a must read (multiple times through I might add) and way better than any BDSM trilogy I have EVER read!

This book deserves 5 stars and probably more if we were able to do that!!

This is the 2nd book in this series and Braden and Skye’s story continues straight on from when #1 ended. Braden and Skye love each other, but he is becoming more controlling and demanding over her life, but he is not forthwith in sharing information about himself, which has her insecurities and trust issues increasing. This is a fast- paced story which is dark, intense, and with explosive chemistry, twists, emotions, which all leads to a steamy and all-consuming tale. I look forward to the next book in this series and I recommend this authors’ work for all lovers of a dark and intriguing storyline.

Woah. What a ride. I’m not sure how to give my review without revealing too much. I feel for Skye,  I really do. While losing somethings and learning and gaining others her life is a hot mess right. Vague I know haha Follow Me Under started right where Follow Me Darkly left off and that is the best kind of beginning. It was so easy to dive straight back into Skye and Braden’s world. I still got the 50 Shades vibes but in a totally different way with this time; Darker perhaps? Can’t wait to see what happens and how it all goes down in the next instalment.

Follow Me Darkly should definitely be read first.

Can Skye move past her ex boss Addison and Braden relationship. I mean she has him now. But she is full of self doubt will that sabotage them. She’s trying to get her influencer job going. Yet she has Braden who wants control of it all. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.

Follow Me Under picks up right where things left off with Braden and Skye, so Follow Me Darkly must be read first.
The moment I started reading this book I couldn’t put it down. I got completely wrapped up in the story, the characters and well everything Braden Black. I wanted to know more about Braden, his secrets, his limits. While some questions were answered, some more came up!
There is no denying that the chemistry between Braden and Skye is explosive. Seriously, these two will melt your kindles! I loved that we got to see more to Braden and all his fantasies and Skye exploring them and finding her limits with it all. Braden is all about trust and he wants complete trust from Skye, however, there are things he is hiding and I am DYING to know.
Skye is struggling with her identity throughout this story, she is losing who she is as her relationship with Braden continues and she is experiencing a lot of changes in her life. While, people may not be experiencing the exact same issues as Skye, I think many can relate to it all on some level.
I can’t wait to see where Skye and Braden’s relationship goes, what secrets the man is still hiding and I truly hope that Skye is able to find herself and become a stronger woman.
If you’re looking for a steamy, erotic romance this series is one to check out!

Follow Me under is book 2 in the Follow Me Trilogy, this is not a stand alone. I was very excited to read this book and see what comes next for Braeden and Skye. In book 2 are exploring their new love and testing the limits of their relationship. I am used to the second books in trilogies stirring up drama and setting up for the 3rd book. I found Follow Me Under very easy to dive into and read, the story moved along at a quick pace and I did not get bored while reading.

I found the drama lacking in this book and I had a hard time liking most of the characters in the story. Braeden seemed to be playing at dominance, but was selfish and not aware of Skye’s needs throughout most of the book. I felt like he was punishing her form 60% of the book and refusing to give her rewards for good behavior, or notice her needs as you would expect from an attentive dominant. We get more insight into his preferences and there are some hot and heavy scenes. Skye’s behavior seemed immature it feels like she is in a mid life crisis at 24. She wants to find herself and be her own person and not defined by her boyfriend, but she only complains about it, I hope in book 3 she does something about it. While this does end on a cliffhanger, it was not the kind i was expecting. I am hoping that book 3 brings a satisfying conclusion in which both characters experience emotional growth and communicate more effectively.

I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily give my review.

“I’ve become invisible.”

Follow Me Under picks up immediately from the point Follow Me Darkly left off. It’s a fast-paced story that furthers Skye and Braden’s relationship and while I enjoyed this book, it didn’t grip me as much as the first one.

Braden is still as mysterious as ever. He wants complete control of Skye yet he refuses to open up to her. He expects her to follow his commands without question and can be cruel at times. On the flip side, there are moments where he can be sweet, too.

Skye is even more insecure in their relationship now that they’ve confessed their love. She seems to want to be with Braden while also resenting him. Honestly, Skye got on my nerves a bit in this book because I thought she was sometimes just being petty instead of really standing up for herself. She’s lost and doesn’t quite know how to find herself.

Now there are a lot of steamy and dark moments in this book and they are hot. Skye and Braden can’t keep their hands off of each other and Helen Hardt excels at writing these scenes.

All in all, this story has captured my attention and I am anticipating the third book. I need to know how the saga ends.

Oh Skye, why can't you just accept the terms and move on?!?! I get it. The woman wants answers and is curious, afraid, excited and all of the above. She wants Braden, but she doesn't want to let go of control. But she needs to surrender her control so she could have Braden. And round and round we go.

*sigh* Braden. I love him. I think he's being judged because he is direct and honest. He's a man of few words but what he says, he means. Why does Skye keep on pushing?! I don't get it. I think he's been honest with her and has been clear on what he needs and what he wants out of Skye, FROM THE START.

IDK, I find her immature and selfish. But I'm also invested and seeing this "relationship" through 'til the end. Anyhow, I enjoyed Braden in this book very, very much and can't wait to read more about him. I don't really care about Skye much, but he does so I'll deal.

All in all, a sizzling read with a dark, brooding male and an immature, selfish woman who hasn't learned to read the room. :)

I received a copy of this title in exchange of my honest opinion.

Follow Me Under picked up right where Follow Me Darkly ended. I was really curious as to how Braden and Skye love story would continue. There were tons of secrets between them. Not healthy at all for a relationship. Braden not being fully open with Skye lead her to be insecure even more. As Braden shows Skye more of the BDSM lifestyle, it looks like Skye is starting to become a different person. She had grow to lose who she once was. She was juggling a lot of things at once. I totally feel for her at times.

There were tons of steamy scenes that Helen does not failed to show. Her writing continues to surprise me. Can't wait to see how everything unfolds for Braden and Skye.

Skye Manning is a twenty-four year old photographer, whose recently stepped into the limelight as an influencer.

Braden Black is an extremely successful self-made billionaire with deliciously dark, dominant needs. He's never wanted a relationship but finds himself willing to try after falling in love with Skye.

These two met and fell in love in the previous book 'Follow Me Darkly.' This is their continued story as they navigate their new relationship and go deeper into their sexual fantasies. Taking them into bondage and the edgier side of BDSM eroticism.

From the last book I thought Sky was smart, talented and a control freak. I loved that she stood up for herself and her needs even while giving up control in the bedroom to Barden. In this book, I saw less of that and more petty, self sabotaging, immaturity. She lies even after promising not to. There's a sense of high school drama and cattiness between her and her ex-boss and even some of her friends.

She may trust Braden with her body but her mind is another matter. Skye seems to be spiraling out of control in the light of day and seeking deeper darker adventures at night.

Helen Hardt creates a lush, sensual, decadent world, leaving us hanging on the edge. In saying that I really struggled with portions of the story outside their intimate moments. I found myself not liking Skye very much and flashbacks to elements 'Fifty Shades of Grey' I'd rather not repeat.

This story includes BDSM scenes that may be difficult for some readers, read at your own discretion.

I received a free copy of this book and I'm voluntarily leaving a review. If you like my reviews I hope you will follow my blog. https://wyldheartreads.wordpress.com/

Wow! I didn’t see that coming. I felt this book was more about Skye. How much she’s changing. At one point I wanted to scream at her to listen to herself. She’s put everything in one basket. She’s stopped including anyone, but him. Braden finally had a breakthrough, but is he willing to grow? I hope so. I think he thought he had all the answers, but sometimes he doesn’t want to listen. I wanted to yell at him that he isn’t the end all! Their relationship has me twisted up into knots.😉

I am sucked into their story. How are we going to fix this mess, Helen??? HOW??? I’m trusting you! I can’t wait for the conclusion!
