He was her first kiss, her first love, her first heartbreak.

I have always and will always love Abbi Glines writing style! and this book was not a let down.
Whilst I did not agree with the characters decisions, choices, actions. It was such a well written story that I could not put it down.

I have always loved Abbi Glines stories and this one did not disappoint! I immediately fell in love with Sailor and Creed. This book had all the feels, it was emotional and raw at times, I could not put it down. If you loved Rush Finlay, you will fall in love with Creed Sullivan too! !

About Tomorrow is a standalone that deals with some real and heavy topics. The writing is flawless. I was drawn to the characters and cared about them from the first page. I was invested in them and wanted the best for them. Sailor and Creed seemed perfect together until tragedy struck and Creed cut all ties with her. Sailor was devastated. He was her first kiss, first love and now first heartbreak.

Then fast forward to the present. She has moved on with her life and is temporarily staying with her boyfriend, Griff, while she is waiting to move into her Gran’s house. Griff’s roommate also has his cousin staying at their apartment while he’s moving back to town. Imagine Sailor’s surprise when she finds out it’s Creed. They try to stay out of each other’s way until she moves into her Gran’s house. One thing leads to another and before you know it those old feelings have resurfaced.

This story was full of angst and drama. It was a page turner and I couldn’t wort to get to the end to see what happens to these characters. I highly recommend About Tomorrow to anyone who likes a second chance NA romance..

I was expecting Creed to be an a**hole in the beginning, and I was pleasantly surprised that he was okay. He was a bit of a jerk later in the story. [I was ready to through my Kindle when I got towards the end, but thankfully, I did not have to.

I absolutely love Abbi's style. This book was beautifully written. I am an avid reader. Sometimes I read so much that I forget what I read the week prior. I am constantly diving into another book. However, I can honestly say that this story will stick with me forever. It was such an emotional rollercoaster. What I appreciate about Abbi's writing is that she writes about situations that I can completely submerse myself it. I don't realize I am reading! I am no longer aware there is an outside world that exist. Her writing consumes me completely. About Tomorrow is another one of those books.

Hmmm.... ok so this is my first Abbi Glines book and she seems to be very popular with a lot of my book friends so I was excited to read this one. I am not really sure what to say. About Tomorrow is a second chance romance and it held a lot of promise, but it fell short in execution and in plot in various places. I did overall enjoy the premise of the story, though there were some similarities with part of the story to another popular series I had previously read. I don't quite think the flashbacks worked as effectively as they could have as they seemed kind of random and it was more confusing than an addition to the story. I also think there were some part of the story that raised more questions for me and I was slightly turned off by the dramatics near the end. I would like to try reading something else by this author, but sadly this one didn't quite work for me.

I enjoyed this story thoroughly. It held me captive with each page. I live for angst and this definitely gave me that in spades. I enjoyed every minute of reading it and could not put it down. It dealt with some really difficult topics and I felt like the author handled them well. I don't want to go into plot, but I will say I love anything by Abbi Glines and this was no exception for me. I can't wait for more from her.

The best parts of Sailor Copeland’s life were spent in Portsmouth, New Hampshire during the summers she spent with her grandmother and the Sullivan Twins, Cora and Creed. For years every summer the three were inseparable and when the summer came that Sailor and Creed became a couple, it was everything she could have hoped for until Cora suddenly dies, and Creed shuts her out.
Years have passed, along with her grandmother, the remaining Sullivan’s have moved on, and Sailor has left her native Tennessee to be with her boyfriend Griff who has entered medical school in Boston. While Griff will be in Boston, she’s decided to take ownership of the home her grandmother left her in Portsmouth. The last person she expects to see in Griff’s apartment is Creed Sullivan and the last thing she expected to feel was the way she felt for him years ago.
As Sailor settle’s down in her life in Portsmouth she realizes that Creed won’t be so easy to avoid. Although he pretended not to know her at Griff’s apartment, he’s now her neighbor again and treating her like the last six years haven’t happened. Creed seems to insert himself into her life at every turn, and much to her dismay, Sailor’s not really opposed to it. Now she struggles with feelings for Creed that never left her and her commitment to Griff, who basically has been her rock for the past six years; but at the same time doesn’t seem to have time for her.
I’m not a fan of love triangles and when I started reading, I was leery, but I’d started so I was going to finish. Turns out, it wasn’t as bad of a triangle as I thought it would be. I love when an author can create a storyline that has you liking all the characters. There were moments when I was annoyed at Sailor for the way she handled both Creed and Griff, but at the same time could still understand her struggle. I wanted to hate Creed for just acting like happened and feeling like Sailor should just allow him to jump back into her life and pick up where they left off and totally dismissing Griff, but at the same time, I felt for his heart in dealing with the loss of not just his sister, but his twin sister. I wanted to hate Griff for being so dismissive of Sailor once med school started for him, but at the same time, Sailor knew what she was getting into when she made the move with Griff. Not only that, he’d kind of made her a priority for years so she could cut him a little slack. This was definitely one of those reads where you started off knowing how you wanted things to end, but by the middle wondered if maybe you were on the wrong track!
While Sailor and Creed are the main characters, and Griff if kind of thrown in there too, there’s a fourth character that is very present while at the same time isn’t present and that’s Cora. Much of everything Sailor and Creed go through and experience is directly impacted by Cora. The one thing stopping this from being a five-star read was the limited info on Cora. We find out very early in the story what happens to her but it’s kind of just “mentioned”. We don’t get a full picture of the situation until almost the end. That and I would have liked a little more on Creed’s POV.
It’s been awhile since I’ve read an Abbi Glines’ book. I devoured books in her Sea Breeze and Rosemary Beach series, finishing About Tomorrow has me going back to her lists of books and adding them to my TBR list.

Abbi Glines has always been my go to for new adult romance. I love her unique brand of angst first love, the dramatic and obsessive flair she brings to the way her characters love, and the intense chemistry she creates. That said, it’s been a hot minute since I’ve read a book- and this cover was just so captivating, I was excited to reconnect with a storyteller that once upon a time consumed me.

This story had a lot of potential- both when it comes to Abbi’s Wheelhouse and in some of the potential emotional depth. Our characters have two stories told in parallel (though most of the story is told in the present). Two childhood best friends, Sailor and Creed, who find their sweet and innocent young friendship grows into a passionate first love, only to be devastated by the shocking and traumatic loss of Creed’s twin sister (and Sailor’s best friend)- a loss that rips them apart. Years later, their paths cross again unexpectedly, and they have no choices but to confront their baggage and their long unresolved business. This was exciting for me for Abbi- deeper, emotional, complicated themes- heavy concepts that are not her norm. And, in some ways it worked for me, and others I wanted a smidge more.

I did enjoy this story overall, but given past favs like the Rosemary Beach series, it is not my favorite of hers overall. There are parts I liked- especially the parts that I have come to associate and expect with Glines’ brand of new adult stories, like that dramatic push-pull, the emotional outbursts, the miscommunication and unexpressed emotional angst, and of course, the sexy and delicious chemistry. And parts I liked not as much- the plot device in the end that personally I don’t usually love, that the characters really don't delve into their baggage in a way that I felt they had the potential to, and a trope that I don’t take lightly. But, like all Glines stories, I was hooked into these turbulent relational dynamics between these two- they felt familiar and consuming, even though these characters are on the older end of the usual Abbi Glines character age range. The story was a quick read, especially once I got into it and the steaminess picked up some.

I did like Sailor and Creed as characters- despite some of their youthful mistakes. And the chemistry here was delicious. A quick, fast read overall- and it’s fun to reconnect with an author that I’ve not read recently.

To encompass my thoughts on such a divine story seems to be an impossible feat. Like other books of hers I have devoured, this story is divine in every aspect. It has every element of an amazing story, from romance to entertainment, quality writing, emotional attachment and superb character as well as plot development. This is not to be overlooked and certainly not to be missed. I cannot recommend this enough!

About Tomorrow is Abbi Glines at her angstiest. I’ve got to be honest, I picked this up because I loved the cover and blurb and I’ve loved this authors books in the past, but I had no idea what I was getting myself into. For those of you looking for that delicious NA angsty goodness, this is the book for you!

Honestly, this review will be a bit vague because I feel like the blurb is vague and there is a lot that I could spoil. This is Sailor Copeland’s story and it’s a second chance romance. One of her childhood best friends and her first love, Creed Sullivan comes back into her life after she graduates college and least expects it. Sailor’s life is going on a clear path, but now with Creed back, things get a little messy.

I like angsty books, but they aren’t always my favorite if I’m not in the right mood. This one has a lot of angst in my opinion and there were times where things got a little too much, especially towards the end, but it also gave me a lot of feels which I loved. I love high emotion reads that make you feel.

Creed and Sailor’s love story is a beautiful one about first loves and second chances, but it also has some tragedy to it. If you’re looking for a read that will keep you glued to the pages and one that’s heart-wrenching and angsty, look no further than About Tomorrow

I went into About Tomorrow without a clue of what I was getting into. Abbi Glines was and has always been an author I will read anything from because I know she’s going to make anything she writes angsty, full of drama, and will have characters you won’t want to get enough of.

And ya’ll, About Tomorrow is just that. This story center’s around Sailor Copeland and it’s a second chance romance while along the lines of childhood love that really never goes away. Creed had Sailor’s heart from the moment they were teenagers, but something traumatic happened to both of them and things kind of go twisted. Now, though, Creed’s back in Sailor’s life and with that come all the “could have, should have, would haves” that go along seeing an old love for the first time in years. Overall, the storyline was executed really well, and I was captivated and drawn in immediately. Glines always has this innate ability to draw you in and connect you with her characters are a deep level, and this book is no different.

If you want an angsty story with a feel-good ending, then About Tomorrow is definitely for you. It had so many great qualities. My only hang up was, at times, the story seemed choppy when going from the present to the past. I liked the insight, but it didn’t help me fall more in love with the characters. They were just kind of there filling up space.

Overall, I enjoyed this quick read and look forward to more from Abbi Glines.

*3.5-4 Stars*

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this one, but it wasn't my favourite Abbi Glines book. Sailor and Creed have an interesting past which all comes back the moment that Sailor's boyfriend moves into his new apartment and she discovers that the roommates cousin is Creed.

It was a bit of a predictable story, but there was good character development for Sailor. We didn't as much of Creed as I would've liked, I think his POV would've added more to the story. The characters were all likeable, even the ones we weren't really supposed to like at times. It flowed well and was easy to read.

There was a lot of push and pull and miscommunication which was a bit frustrating at times, especially the whole Sailor and Griff thing.

In the end it was a fairly fast and overall easy book to read.

I was a bit surprised that I couldn't find any reviews on Abbi Glines on my blog. So I had to revert to Goodreads to find out why. Because I was certain that I had read a lot of Abbi's books. As in: a lot lot: SeaBreeze series, Rosemary Beach series, the Vincent Boys, etc. But this was all in the years before I started my blog: from 2011 to 2014 I read Abbi. And then I stopped, probably because I read all of her books at that time. It's a shame that I didn't check out her latest books in the last few years. Shame on me! Because while reading About Tomorrow I remembered why I was hooked on all those series of Abbi: she has a way to suck you just right into the story. Then she tears your heart out and leaves you crying and wanting more. And then she fills your heart again with fuzzy feelings and also a bit of despair. She keeps you on edge and you will never take tomorrow for granted again! Wonderful, heartbreaking (keep those tissues on hand) and ... well, just wonderful. Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

This was a much more grown-up book than many of Glines's other books with Sailor and Creed's relationship being more mature and moving past young love. The romance is revealed much slower, however, the book has all the drama Glines's fans expect.

Amazing story! This storyline pulls you right in and the characters are also amazing. This is one of those stories that will stay with you long after you’re finished.

Wow! Just wow! Abbi Glines does it again! This book was everything I hoped it would be ! The story between Sailor and Creed gives you all the feels love, heartache and hope. You meet Sailor and creed as kids , tragedy tears them apart as teens. Can they find their way back to one another as adults?
I could not put this book down. If your looking for a consuming read This is the book for you!

Thank you netgalley and Abbi for my ARC

Oh my heart. This is the first Abbi Glines book I have read in a while thanks to life, but omg, I forgot how much I adore her words. This story hit me hard with the raw emotions and so much more. Between the flow of the story, the character build, I was blown away at this story and concept of a childhood romance that becomes a second chance romance. It is passionate and angsty. It has a lot of push and pull and life changing choices and facing your past. It was just mind blowing. I honestly devoured this book once I started it and could not put it down.
The connection between Creed and Sailor is deep and intense right from the start. Even as young teens, it is one of those all consuming loves. When tragedy strikes, the distance begins. When a chance meeting throws them back together years later, it is hard to not miss the undercurrents that their chemistry gives. It is intense and so raw. Even if Sailor isn’t available. As the story plays out, I am so in love with how they find each other again and how even if some will not agree, it was so real and passionate.
Overall, I really loved this book and will totally be one of my top reads. I know some will go omg at parts like I did. I had tears at the end. Legit I am bawling. Glines wrote something so strong and powerful but also so raw and emotional. It was everything and more for me!
