Incredibly handsome cookbook! Antoni’s Let’s do dinner makes you want to fly to NY just to do that! I’d buy the book for the Carb Coma’s section alone!

What did I like? I’ll be honest, never seen the television series Antoni stars in... but he makes a mean recipe book! I bookmarked so many recipes and they do look like a healthier fare. I loved the format of the book, and loved the pictures!

Would I recommend or buy? I’d love a copy! It’s going on my wishlist! I’d recommend to anyone with a pulse since it’s a gorgeous book! Five huge stars!

I received a complimentary copy to read and voluntarily left a review!

This cookbook is wonderful!

I loved Antoni’s other cookbook so I had to check this out. He did it again. I loved how easy the directions are to follow, the mouth watering photos (and there’s tons of photos!) and layout/organization. For anyone who loves cooking or is looking for a cookbook, definitely check this out. Now the recipes itself are all wonderful and creative. They remind me of dishes you get at restaurants but you just didn’t know how to duplicate them. But now with his cookbook you can make those dishes. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for new dishes.

A cute cookbook that uses simple pantry ingredients and turns them into interesting, highly cookable recipes. I loved seeing pictures of Antoni’s apartment and friends. Only thing missing is a dessert section!

This is a beautiful cookbook by Antoni Porowski from Queer Eye. The photography by Paul Brissman is wonderful, bright and fresh, with each dish carefully arranged and photographed so it looks seriously appealing and delicious. There are lots of great ideas here with a section on dinner salads and main dishes including 'Coconut Cauliflower Korma', 'Baked Cheesy Mac and Broccoli' and 'The Best Damn Nachos.' In a time when restaurants have been closed and many of us have been looking to be inspired by alternative dishes to try cooking from scratch, 'Antoni: Let's Do Dinner' couldn't come at a better time. I will definitely be ordering a hard copy and thank you NetGalley and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for the ARC.

I'm a sucker for cookbooks, I could spend hours flipping through the pages reading the stories and circumstances that a chef has gone through to come up with a mouth-watering dish. I love Queer Eye and knew I had to get my hands on this when I read that Antoni Porowski was doing a book based on weeknight meals.

The pandemic has taken me from flipping through the pages of a cookbook, to desperately trying to create new dishes that my family will enjoy. The last thing I want to be doing is preparing a meal with so many ingredients that I miss the whole point of cooking the meal, it is to enjoy it with my family. This is where Let's Do Dinner has provided me with a guide to make creative culinary creations without feeling overwhelmed!

I highly recommend this cookbook and plan on purchasing a hard copy upon release! Thank you to NetGalley and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for this ARC.

What a fantastic cookbook! So visually engaging with a diverse range of recipes from fancy and upscale to easy and comforting. I can't wait to try to cook them all!

Antoni does it again! I love how accessible all of these recipes are. There was even a great 10 recipe list of quick, but indulgent meals that could be whipped up for oneself or company in no time.

I loved the formatting, the warm and inviting photos of the food, and the punny chapter titles.

This is a must read for any fan of Queer Eye and Antoni.

Having read the Antoni's first cookbook, Antoni in the Kitchen, I was excited to see that he had a new one coming out. I am a fan of cookbooks. I love looking at and reading cookbooks and recipe magazines. At least once a week in my house dinner is compliments of a new recipe I've found. This is not to say I'm some fabulous cook, but I can follow a recipe. What I loved about this cookbook is that it is a work of art! The photos are gorgeous! The descriptions are helpful, personal, and sometimes humorous. The food is a little gourmet for my tastes, though if someone else made it and put it in front of me I wouldn't push it away. There are a number of fairly fancy ingredients that I'm not going to find at my neighborhood Safeway which is often the first thing to turn me off of a recipe. I don't enjoy grocery shopping and less so if I have to hunt down an ingredient.

Though there were a few recipes that I'm looking forward to giving a whirl. Sheet Pan Chicken with Rosemary & Grapes: who doesn't love a sheet pan dinner? I have never made Coq au Vin because I don't like red wine, but the recipe for Coq au Riesling has me excited to finally try this classic dish! Vietnamese Chicken and Rice Noodle Salad: I'm a sucker for anything with fish sauce. Also making the list are the Best Damn Nachos, Turkey Cheeseburger Soup, Oatmeal Pancakes with Apples & Bacon, and the Sweet Chili Brussel Sprouts with Chorizo.

Thank you to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and #NetGalley for allowing me the pleasure of drooling over this cookbook in exchange for an honest review.

Antoni Porowski gives 80 of his favorite workweek recipes to keep you fed and organized during the week. I’ll admit that I originally picked this book up since I’m a fan of the Fab 5, and of course Antoni. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Antoni created recipes that were both beautiful, but very practical as well. Each page of this full-color book was filled with kitchen photos, inspirational thoughts, Antoni in mid-work, or with photos of the gorgeous dishes.

The book itself was written to be practical and to make meal planning easy. In the front he even lists a couple dozen ingredients to have on-hand to make any of the dishes quickly. And the meals themselves seemed easy for the non-gourmet to cook, but would also appeal to a reader with more cooking experience. The dishes were mouth-watering on the page as well—I am craving his spinach salad and his Crispy Pork and Egg Rice Bowl. The way the dishes are displayed make it easy to make a good meal,, but can also be presented in a way that is pleasing to the eye (or to impress a guest who may stop by for dinner). I have dinner planned for next week!

Yum! Gorgeous photos and interesting recipes that are familiar with cool twists to push me out of the usual recipe doldrums...great mix of veg and protein which I appreciate. Love the list of items Antoni keeps at home\on hand... Always gives me great ideas. The writing is well done with just enough to entice me to try these mouthwatering recipes! Did I say YUM yet?

Antoni! Invite ME for dinner!

Unlike most cookbooks, Antonie Let’s Do Dinner is a book about cooking in a book for the tabletop.

Thank you Jerry Seinfeld for thinking of such things.

As with most books along this line … cookbooks I mean …
Let’s Do Dinner is chock full of stomach-rumbling recipes and jump-off-the-page photos.

These recipes are perfect for cooks who don’t necessarily own a vast collection of cookware and specialty items. These recipes are the epitome of beauty both in their creation and the display of their potential on these pages because its author understands the value of painting a masterpiece of flavor and color with food, and his surrounding crew is as dedicated to the fine art of these thoughts as the recipes’ creator himself.

Authored by Antoni Porowski, with Mindy Fox, this cookbook’s tone and recipes ruminate a sense of home.

Achieving that kind of vibe for a cookbook is in my opinion an excellent accomplishment. I am compelled to hop a plane to New York, hunt this author and his crew down, knock on his door and sit down with them for a nice meal, a lot of laughter, and a relaxing night in the big city.

Honestly, I did not realize Antoni Porowski was a Queer Eye television star before I read this book. I am one of those old people – from the 1980s – who is still too busy to flip on the television for relaxation of any sort. But, no wonder he’s so popular. The man has the natural ability to portray warmth and welcomeness to those with which he interacts.

Meticulous to detail and abundant with gratitude Antoni says he grew up as a boy who wanted to be just like his dad, humble, strong, and loving.
In this book, he accomplished his goal.

Yes. This cookbook offers all the same pantry stuffing ideas you might see elsewhere.

By the way, everything on Porowski’s list sits in my own cupboard at this instant. It makes suggestions about including things like ground lamb and pork for freezer staples.

And capers. I know I am less than refined, but a caper? What is that? And how does it taste? Find out in Antoni Let’s Do Dinner.

One thing I like about this book is its ability to twist cultural norms into a new and interesting creation.

Try Armenia Pita Pizza.

Yum.

You should see this art. Sicilian tuna salad is something I’d never consider. But after looking at the plate on this page, I say … bring it on!
White bean and cauliflower soup with herb oil. Golden Root Vegetable Pot Pie. Roasted cabbage steaks with apple-dijon vinaigrette. Lazy Pierogies with wild mushrooms, cabbage, and prunes. This book is vegetable heaven.

This truly artistically created book is a guaranteed table topper.
Yes. I know. Cookbooks belong in the kitchen. But truly, this one is different. This one would do just as well on a New York window sill along with art books just waiting to be perused by guests waiting for Antoni and his crew before their own delectable dinner.

I am bummed I reviewed this cookbook digitally. This is one I’d love to put on my own family room shelf. I hope my oldest daughter doesn’t read this review. If she does, she will know what she’s getting for her birthday.

Antoni's cooking is both easy, comfort meals and a little out of the box. His cookbook pushes me to try favourites in a new way and get out of my comfort zone, as well as have fun in the kitchen. Not to mention his memories and meanings attached to each recipe make it that much more impactful. I'm so excited he released another cookbook, and grateful to NetGalley for giving me an advanced reader copy.

The illustrations, the recipes, and personal feel of the cookbook are my favorites. I enjoyed all the mini fun tidbits about the recipes. This gives the cookbook more personal feel, as if Antoni is in the kitchen with you! I can see myself making some of these fun dishes at home with friends, and a nice glass of wine.

Thank you NetGalley for an electronic copy. I recently spent many sleepless nights with my newborn binge watching The Fab 5 of Netflix, so when I saw this cookbook I had to get it. This book is stunning! The photography is gorgeous and the book itself is very well designed.

The recipes are easy to follow and there’s a nice variety of food and sections to pick from. I definitely recommend this for anyone who is a fan of the show or just wants to mix things up in the kitchen.

Thank you to NetGalley, Antoni Porowski, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for providing me with a free ARC copy of this book.

This is a lovely little cooking book and it covered all the points you'd expect from a good cookbook including the pantry section that has some key ingredients you may not expect. The recipes are fantastic and I'm looking forward to trying more of the options. I think I'll be buying the physical book come September as there are definitely some items in there that will be making it onto the family favorites.

The book is beautiful with eye catching photography, not just of the food but the apartment shots featuring friends who Antoni shares his cooking with. It paints a picture of the perfect night in. Looking forward to actually being able to show off some of the options showcased in this book post-quarantine.

I loved Antoni on Queer Eye and enjoyed reading the cook book and although I have not made anything yet I am excited to try a few recipes out.

Lots of great guy food with a nice heathy twist: burgers, wraps pastas and breakfasts. All the foods look amazing and fresh in the photos.

What do you get when you have an extremely good looking and charismatic actor (Antoni Porowski of Queer Eye fame) who can actually cook, and even write? In this case, Antoni: Let’s Do Dinner, a cookbook full of delightful prose and most importantly, delicious recipes. Many of the recipes have nuances of Porowski’s childhood, but others are just the result of a great imagination and excellent cooking skills. The cookbook is co-written by Mindy Fox, and it’s not certain just how much influence she had, but no matter who thought of what, this is a fun cookbook full of dishes most of us actually want to make.

One of the best parts of this cookbook is that there are beautiful photographs which make it difficult to decide what to cook next. Most (not all) of the recipes are fairly simple, have minimal ingredients, and can be successfully made by everyone, whether novices or experts in the kitchen. Some use ingredients that aren’t particularly popular, such as eggplant. Actually, eggplant is now a vegetable purchased often because of Porowski’s recipe for Turkish Meatballs with Eggplant & Feta (Yum!). Gochujang is a recent cooking trend, and Porowski uses it in a mouthwatering Korean pork burger that is incredible. Another recipe that is a new favorite is Lemon Spaghetti with Toasted Walnuts & Parsley – simple, and perfect with any meat, poultry, or fish.

Although most recipe books by celebrities are fairly ordinary, this one stands out due to the fact that the recipes are so different from what we are used to, and that the recipes are mouthwatering and turn out perfectly every time. The book is also organized and the recipes are easy-to-follow. Highly recommended.

Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.
