One thing I always said about Queer Eye is that if you are having a horrible day and need a pick me up, this show and these wonderful men will do that for you. And it is not with lavished, need to pay high end items it is within your means and your budget, plus more bang for your buck! That is the recipes that you will find in Antoni's cookbook!! I loved how his recipes are simple to make but at the same time make you feel like you are paying and eating top dollar! I also enjoy how very wholesome, down to earth, and thankful he is for what he has done and what he has accomplished! In his book he has all the entrees from anything like Appetizer, Main course, some lighter items, and of course deserts! His recipes are so delicious and they definitely bring some extra flare and gourmet to any size party!! I will DEFINITELY be buying an actual book when it comes out on print!

I love this cookbook and will definitely purchase it when it’s available! The photos are beautiful and all of the recipes are completely doable and look delicious! I have already bought the ingredients for the lemon spaghetti. Yum! I have read a lot of cookbooks and this one makes me love Antoni even more than I thought I did!

Loved this book! I love Antoni from Queer Eye & from his many Youtube appearances. Pictures are great & the recipes look good!

Antoni's newest cookbook checks all the boxes for me — interesting spins on classic dishes, approachable instructions, and ingredient lists that won't break the bank. The first time I flipped through it, I bookmarked almost every recipe to try later. They all looked that delicious.
So far, I have two favorite recipes. The Farfalle with Almond Basil Pesto and Zucchini was so simply, yet tasted wonderful. (This is officially my new go-to pesto recipe for all of the things.) I also love the Baked Zucchini with Cheesy Garlic-Bread Crumbs, which was a decadent spin on the veggie. I can't wait to keep trying other dishes!

All these recipes look so delicious! I've been on a health kick lately, so having so many new ways of incorporating more vegetables into my meals is amazing. Most of the ingredients are easy to get, which is great. The only thing that could've made this book even better: if it informed about the calories per portion.
But overall it's a book I would recommend to everyone that is interested in healthy/creative cooking. And to all those fellow Queer Eye fans of course :)

I just finished reading Antoni Porowski's Antoni: Let's Do Dinner, and I am in love with him as a person even more. Here is why I love this particular cookbook so much, and I have read A Lot of cookbooks. Yes, I love to just simply read them, I love cooking that much. In this book Antoni puts in his personality, you feel like he is talking to you. It is conversational, not formal. I get to hear him tell bits about his life or little stories, and that makes me feel like I am part of this family. There are recipes that sound delicious, but I am extremely picky and would not make, or normally make, but he makes them sound mouthwatering. One recipe that I am going to make as soon as possible is the Savory Pierogies with the Vegetables, I am always obsessed with mushrooms. I am going to admit, I am not sure about those prunes, so I might make some with and some without. I appreciate that he does not talk over my head, and he does not sound condescending. He will tell you why he chose to cook the egg that particular way, not just tell you to do it. The recipes are what he says, they are not too complicated, so even a beginner can make this and feel confident and have a great result. For those of us who have been cooking since before we can remember the recipes are a joy to make. Another thing that is also one of the most important is the ingredients. They are easy to find and not too expensive. I see so many delightful cookbooks and recipes that I want to try but I cannot afford to make. Antoni has made recipes that are yummy, easy, fun, and budget friendly. The pictures are gorgeous and the styling is wonderful. Also, who does not need more Antoni in their lives? I got this as an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review, and I cannot wait to buy the hardback when it comes out this fall.
Thank you to the author, publisher, and Netgalley for the honor of reading this wonderful addition to my collection of often turned to cookbooks.

This is a gorgeous cookbook and the recipes seem like they'll be delicious, if not a bit of work. Another reviewer mentioned that many of the ingredients will be harder to source for less urban folks and the ingredients tend to be a little pricey too (wild mushrooms, fresh goat cheese, specialty greens, etc.). These aren't likely to be off the cuff recipes you can throw together on an average weeknight unless you've happened to stop by the farmers' market, butcher shop and Whole Foods on the way home. That said, his recipes are easy to follow and designed for even novice cooks to be very successful.
Another reviewer mentioned that the recipes lean towards pretty bougie and I'd have to agree. There are lots of photos of the food but just as many of Antoni and his celebrity friends like other Queer Eye guys and Gigi Hadid. I didn't realize he's also a model and you can tell as there are lots of posed, close up head shots. He's a good looking guy but I don't know that I need that many shots of an author's face in a cookbook and it also made me oddly uncomfortable as I never realized until looking at him this close but he bears quite a resemblance to my first husband (not a problem anybody else is likely to have, of course). It's a beautiful, fun book though and the recipes look like they'll be wonderful.
Nutritional information is not provided. Many recipes are gluten free or can be converted, but others cannot be. There are a good number of vegetarian and even vegan recipes. Animal products are used often as the standard though, as are grains. It's very carb heavy (there are even quotes about carb comas) so it's not a great fit for anybody on low-carb or keto diets. It does not rely on much along the lines of packaged foods (which I appreciate) other than the occasional item like puff pastry. Photos are provided of just about every recipe.
I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for review.

Well devised mix of fancier and everyday cooking. Illustrations are stunning and really brings Antoni’s personality to the book

I love Antoni so I was excited to read this book. Although some of the recipes are a little complicated, I will be purchasing this book in a physical copy. The meals I tried I enjoyed.

This is another great cookbook from Antoni. If you enjoyed his first book, you’re sure to enjoy this one which is jam packed with scrumptious and drool worthy recipes. Some surprise celebrities grace the pages too. Even as a vegetarian, I found many recipes I look forward to making!

Wow wow wow. This is gorgeous! First off, Antoni is drool worthy alone. Then you add on theses incredible recipes?! I will definitely be buying this for numerous friends who both love to cook and just love Antoni!

I love Antoni and completely fell in love with his first cookbook, 'Antoni in the Kitchen'. I was so excited to come across his second cookbook on NetGalley and thank you to the publisher as well for this advanced copy. I love how he kicks off the cookbook with 10 fast favorites. I think many people are intimidated to cook from cookbooks as they think everything takes hours to prepare! Antoni shows you that cooking is totally approachable and doesn't have to be complicated. His dishes and recipes are elegant, fresh, and healthy. I've already made Ben's Rigatoni Alla Vodka with Chicken and it's simply divine. This is the perfect gift for any foodie in your life!

Well organized and beautifully photographed cookbook.
Antoni Porowki's , of Queer Eye fame, second cookbook presents dishes he would serve for himself through out the week.
Lots of variety of ingredients with vegetarian/vegan options.
Most recipes are simply prepared with a few that are a bit more adventurous.
A solid cookbook from Mr. Antoni.

Beautiful photography and clear directions. These are my 2 must haves in any cookbook. This book hits both! Easy to follow and ingredients that are easy to find, but combined take simple recipes and elevate them for everyday or when we can finally have dinner parties again. The Chicken and Bean Burritos with spicy pineapple slaw- amazing!!!

A lovely vibrant cookbook with pictures that make you want to cook every single dish! The recipes are not too daunting and there’s a really good mix of dishes to choose from. I’d definitely like the hard back version of this in my kitchen!

A big thank-you to NetGalley, the author, and publisher for giving me a copy of this book for an unbiased review.
4/5 - Really liked it.
Allow me to be honest. I hate cooking. I love QueerEye, I love Antoni, but I hate cooking. When I got an ARC of this book I squealed with delight and my boyfriend looked over at me, confused.
“The only thing you’ve ever made on our stove,” the designated cook in our family said, “is a candle.”
It’s true.
That being said, this book got me excited to try cooking! I love that there are recipes from around the world, as well as traditional recipes with an unorthodox twist. Also, having never read another cookbook before, I admit I have little reference... but there were SO many recipes. Plus, there is Antoni’s laid back writing and wonderful sense of humor, which makes these rather daunting dishes sound like a fun adventure. Like, sure, let me make this thing I can’t pronounce, despite having no idea of how to turn my burner on. (Is it even called a burner?)
I only have two reasons my rating isn’t higher - it’s very U.S. centric in terms of what ingredients are available, even referring to Trader Joe’s sometimes. I love Trader Joe’s but it’s not globally available. Also, I have no clue how to get some of the ingredients - I do admit Antoni does a great job of providing tips for the harder to get items, or substituting them - but still, there are a few I am befuddled by.
Overall, a very worthwhile read and a recommended purchase - I think this especially would make a great gift!

I absolutely love Antoni. I was gifted his first book last Christmas and was so excited to get my hands on an early copy of this new release of his. I am always excited to try his recipes and so many of them are so easy with ingredients that are not too crazy or hard to come by.

This is a fun cookbook! As a fan of Antoni and Queer Eye, I was eager to see what he brought to the table (figuratively speaking). This cookbook is enjoyable and it feels like a good starter cookbook for someone who is young or newer to food. Some of the recipes are twists on standard fare, but others are more interested. I'd recommend!

I didn’t think I was a super picky eater anymore...until I read this cookbook. I love Antoni but I basically wouldn’t make any of the recipes in it. However, I am very excited to try the sheet pan chicken with rosemary and grapes! Thanks so much to NetGalley and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for the free copy in exchange for my honest review.

I opened this cookbook with no expectations and I was blown away. Just one read through and I had so many recipes saved to try. I've only made two so far: the Vietnamese patties and the avgolemono soup, both of which were delicious and make me excited for more.
I love how much Antoni included the Eastern European food he grew up with. Polish cuisine is not "hip"-- what I mean is that you don't see it alongside Vietnamese- or Mexican-inspired dishes that are the staples of other celebrity cookbooks. Here, though, it didn't feel out of place. Quite the opposite-- Antoni made Polish food accessible and at home in my meal rotation.
I'll admit, I rarely buy cookbooks for myself; I'll sooner try them at the library or through Netgalley. This is one of the few that I can't wait to get for myself. When September comes, run, don't walk, to try this book!
