I really enjoy reading cookbooks and Antoni is one of my favourite fab five guys so was interested to see what this book would have to offer.
There are one or two recipes id try but overall it felt very much like his Instagram and I wouldn't rush out to buy it for the recipes alone. The colours in the book are lovely and reading it on the app rather than a black and white kindle was definitely a benefit.
Id give the book 3 stars overall.

It is a good and well-done cookbook. The recipes are well shot and presented in a super appetizing way (not all cookbooks do that well). As for the contents of the recipe itself, it all felt a little bland for my liking. I wish there was a bit more emphasis on techniques separate from recipes. I also wish if there were any details of good substitutes for vegan. At this time and age when climate crisis begs us to make better individual choices, it is hard to see a book mainly consist of recipes with animal products.

As a major Queer Eye fan, I was so excited to see that Antoni is coming out with another cookbook! While of course the recipes look amazing, all of the pictures are beautiful, too (and I loved the cameos his friends make in some pictures)! The variety of recipes was great, from some more fancy ones, to new takes on traditional comfort foods. I'm really trying to expand my recipes and am very excited to try these ones out!

Special thanks to NetGalley and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for providing me with ARC.
I love Cooking specially baking and recently i requested a lot of cooking books through NetGalley website.
I know Antoni since his book called * Antoni in the kitchen *, he made cooking is so easy and the recipes are amazing, i tried some of them, they tasted good.

Love Antoni, love this cookbook. I have Antoni's first cookbook and would recommend that to everyone. As a follow up, this does not disappoint

I'm a big fan of Queer Eye but have mixed feelings about Antoni's cooking skills - avocado, anyone? Having said that, I was very excited when I received an arc ahead of publication - thank you to NetGalley and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Judging from the ingredient lists, some of recipes might seem a bit intimidating, but they are in fact fairly easy and approachable. Enjoyed the cross-overs between different cuisines & cultures, and the overall variety presented. The only thing missing would be a dessert section? That's part of dinner too!
The food photos were good but I found the ones of Antoni a bit lacking - and the man photographs well! Same applies for the kitchen/guest photos, the lighting felt a bit off, maybe overly yellow-ish.

Antoni: Let's Do Dinner by Antoni Porowski is a wonderful, gorgeous cookbook with a huge variety of mouthwatering recipes. It features healthy takes on a huge variety of dishes and recipes and ingredients from around the world. Recipes run from simple to more complex with appetizing variations. Though it focuses on dinner, the recipes could be used for any meal or occasion. Stunning photography accompanies all of the recipes. I strongly recommend this one!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC of this book.

This is the first cookbook I am reviewing and I could not pick one better.
All recipes seem incredibly delicious and the pictures that have been taken for most of them are absolutely gorgeous shots.
The recipes are simple enough that you are able to make most of them on a simple weekday evening for dinner. There are meals featured in here that I have been looking for recipes for and I am super excited that I am able to try them Antoni's way and others that I am familiar with but am looking forward to making differently.
I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for family favorites made with a whole lot of love.
Thank you to NetGalley and publisher for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I'm in loveeee!!! This book is everything I wanted in a cookbook. The recipes are easy and practical. Can't wait to try them out.
Also, the photos, little stories and notes along the recipes were a nice cute touch.
I love everything of this.

Packed full of drool-worthy recipes, Antoni's new cookbook is full of everything you need to create perfect and creative meals.
Full of great tips and tricks, Antoni dishes out some useful advice, including some essential tips on pantry/food storage to help elevate any meal.
There is a variety of dishes that are adaptable to your preference and diet.
Thanks so much to NetGalley and the publishers for providing me with an eArc in exchange for my honest review.
My only annoyance came with the eArc file where in some instances it was difficult to read and pictures were cut off and had no descriptions which at times made it confusing to know what picture went with what recipe.

OMG I just love Antoni so much, and I am SO HAPPY he made this cookbook! So far I have tried two dishes, and they immediately have become favorites for me. This has a good mix of health conscious and carb overload. I love a way to make sure I keep healthy vegetables exciting, and there are SO many variations in this book. Even the amount of salad variations were so shocking! So many new things I never thought of! BUT Antoni knows the finer things in life often are not good for you, so I am so happy I have my guilty weekend meals in there too. This is truly a one stop cookbook that you NEED ASAP.

I will start by saying that I adore Antoni and have his first cookbook, "Antoni in the Kitchen." Antoni: Let's Do Dinner does not disappoint and may even be better. The recipes are all very approachable and I love that the meals are all shared with a friend. All of the images are of course gorgeous and made me so excited to try out a few immediately. This will definitely be a future purchase for me because I want to go back to the recipes again and again.
5/5 Stars!
Thank you to NetGalley and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for providing me with an e-arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

As a longtime fan of Antoni Porowski's uplifting foodie advice on the Queer Eye television series, I knew right away that this cookbook would be filled with non-overwhelming, delicious and healthy recipes intended to bring us out of our dinner-ruts. After browsing through the recipes, I found myself getting excited about making dinner tonight. I will be trying the Crispy Pork and Egg Rice Bowl, since, to my glee, I have all the ingredients in my kitchen. The recipe practically shouts 'comfort food' - a bowl of rice in a hot, savory broth, topped with slices of breaded and fried pork cutlet that's been smothered in fluffy eggs. If a hug could be food, this is what it would look like.
This book is the perfect gift for a novice cook who's eager to learn. I can think of no better way to learn that food is love - the recipes and advice Antoni's gathered into this cookbook will inspire you to cook better meals for yourself, your family, your friends. As a bonus, many of the recipes double as party food - just divide into smaller portions and viola! Appetizers to impress.
Treat yourself well. Let Antoni's advice and attitude into your kitchen. You'll be a happier person for it.

There's nothing I enjoy more than a good cookbook on a rainy night! I enjoy flipping through someone else's recipe collections, complete with mouthwatering photos - and ANTONI: Let's Do Dinner is just what the doctor ordered tonight!
I can picture myself whipping up Porowski's Cog au Reisling in my slow cooker (I can almost smell the aroma off the page!). I love carrots so the Ginger Curry Glazed Carrots will be the next side dish I attempt. Mashed Potato Fries have to be seen (and tasted?) to be believed, and the Greek Egg Lemon Soup is perfect for these cold winter nights. Right now, I could use a huge tray of his Best Damn Nachos, and maybe one of his many inventive specialty sandwiches.
Antoni Porowski is a creative cook, and you can tell that he eats with his eyes and and his taste buds. This cookbook is full of tantalizing recipes that you won't be able to resist trying. They look and sound absolutely delicious! Top marks for seducing all of my taste buds!
My thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for an ARC of this cookbook in exchange for an honest review.

I am excited to make SO many of the recipes in this book - (nearly) everything looks delicious (I don't like mayo and there's a couple of mayo heavy recipes...).
Most recipes I can adapt to be gluten free, but the book doesn't specify this or any dietary requirements like others do.
I loved that this is a dinner book...I have quite a number of cookbooks - I am an avid cook/baker, but they are nearly always a mishmash of all meals and desserts, or just desserts. The chapters are divided into the main ingredient of dishes - eggs, chicken, vegetarian, seafood, carb-heavy, and meals for when you need a hug to name a few.
Most, if not all, recipes have an accompanying photo of said dish which is always nice in a cookbook just to get a hint for what you are working towards if nothing else.
The recipes are simple to follow and most have easily sourced ingredients/ingredients you might already have at home if you are a regular cook. The recipes are definitely more for the adventurous or seasoned cook, so may be a cookbook to work up to rather than a beginners guide.
The recipes have minimal what I call "life story fluff" that is often seen on food blogs or in celebrity/influencer cookbooks. There may be a line or two about how much Antoni loves Japan, but the focus is on food and the recipes.

A good cookbook, with lots of recipes contained within the pages, thank you to the publishers and netgalley for letting me have an advance reading copy.

Cookbook review 🍽
I’m a big fan of Antoni and the show Queer Eye, so I was really excited to read his second cookbook, Antoni: Let’s Do Dinner.
This cookbook is full of gorgeous photography, and it’s so vibrant. There are recipes for everyone in this one, and many lean towards a twist on tradition, and there are definitely recipes adventurous eaters. I was pleased that there was a whole section of vegetarian recipes, as a lot of cookbooks don’t include that.
I will say that if you live in a more rural area, and don’t have access to ingredients that may only be found in specialty shops or stores like Whole Foods, some of these recipes may be a little tough for you to make.
Overall I found this to be a beautiful cookbook full of recipes I might have otherwise not ever thought about making.
Thanks to @netgalley and @houghtonmifflinharcourt for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Antoni: Let's Do Dinner brings forth new recipes from beloved chef, Canadian, and Queer Eye FabFive member, Antoni Porowski. In the collection, the author shares new recipes including mains, vegetarian options, fast favourites, and snacks and sides.
I loved this book. I was a big fan of his other book Antoni: In the Kitchen, and so when I spotted this one I was eager to look through it! The recipes Antoni promotes are always delicious. I find the options healthy and creative, and this collection was no different. The instructions are accessible in a way that makes me feel like as a total beginner in the kitchen I can follow along to. I'll definitely be buying a copy to keep working through this one!

What a colorful and visually pleasant book! Every recipe is as delicious as the picture in the book and it can be made with everyday essentials or elevated with a gourmet ingredient or two for those special occasions. I cannot wait to try every recipe in the book, specially looking forward to introducing more plant based meals. Thank you to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company, Antoni Porowski, Mindy Fox and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC.

I got this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
While “reading” Antoni: Let's Do Dinner, I found myself bookmarking so many recipes to try. Many of the recipes serve 4 and the ingredients are items I can easily find in the local grocery store. From looking at the recipe ingredients, the dishes look like they will be flavorful. The cooking directions are uncomplicated and easy to follow and some recipes give substitution suggestions. The photography in this book is awesome!
