I LOVE the find Momo books! They are so much fun, and I love that there are these board books so that younger readers can get in on the fun as well.
I’m so happy that Andrew Knapp was able to make one more book before Momo passed away.
**Thank you, Netgalley-here is an honest review in exchange for receiving a free copy of this book** Let's Find Momo Outdoors! is the cutest book ever! I have no experience with the original, Let's Find Momo, but now I feel compelled to find it for my classroom library. The photos are vivid and based in nature. The idea is that on each left side of the book, two dogs, Momo and Boo, as well as a handful of items are pictured with the word beneath them. On the right side of the book is a real life photo moment outdoors and the reader has to find the items shown. This is listed as a board book and seems very appropriate for babies, of course, but I can also see this being a great book to use for language learners in my elementary classroom. Loved it!
I absolutely loved this book. It is a great introduction to wordless books for parents and grown-ups who are intimidated by books with no words. It is so much fun looking for the different items in each of the photographs and sometimes challenging to find Momo and his friend. Kids will get a kick out of exploring the pictures and while they explore it is the perfect opportunity for parents to build vocabulary. It would even be fun to make up a story about what Momo is doing in each of the pictures.
A fun twist on the search and find books and enjoyable to share as a family.
What a simple, cute seek-and-find book! I enjoyed that it has photographs, which helped to put you at the beach and in the wilderness. The text was simple and the pictures are clear, making this an easy book for younger children to enjoy. Plus, the dogs are adorable! We actually bought this for our library and I think patrons are really going to enjoy it!
Let's Find Momo Outdoors! is another cute photographic hunt & find book for the youngest readers by Andrew Knapp. Due out 25th May 2021 from Quirk Books, it's 24 pages and will be available in board book and ebook formats.
This is the 5th Find Momo book and the beautiful border collie has found a new friend named Boo. The photos are colorful and fun and full of outdoor scenery. Each 2 page spread has 3 items (with the spelled out items in clear text) plus Momo and Boo. The full page picture includes both dogs and the three items to find.
The photo puzzles are *not* all trivial to solve. There are some challenges here for older kids as well. I'll be honest, some of them challenged me for a bit. This is an appealing interactive book for bonding with even the smallest readers and revisiting over and over. It will likely become a favorite. It would make an appealing library or kindergarten class or reading circle selection as well as a read-to-me or bedtime story.
Five stars. Really a beautiful and appealing little book.
Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.
I love it! I can imagine my students loving searching for Momo the dog on every page and it is a motivating way to learn new vocabulary . I can think of many ways to use this in my inclusion preschool classroom, with my students who are learning to communicate and follow directions and English language learners. I think it would be loved by all my students.
A fun activity book to know and identify objects for kids.
This almost seems like playing a very simple video game while reading it.
I love the real pictures used in this activity book.
Have fun!
Thank you author and the publisher for the advance reading copy.
An adorable seek and find book that is real life pictures with 5 items to find in each. They are easy but not too easy and so cute!
I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. I love these Momo books. I purchased one for my niece and nephew and they loved it so when this one came out I wanted to take a look. This is a fun seek and find book with Momo and boo (dogs) included.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an electronic copy to read and review.
This is a fun book, with real pictures, that I know many kids will love. Great for outdoor kids who love dogs.
So in love with Momo and I loved this book. My three year old had a great time finding the dogs and other items!
Have followed Momo on Facebook for awhile and was so excited to get to review this book!
Thank you NetGalley! I just reviewed Let's Find Momo Outdoors! by Andrew Knapp. #LetsFindMomo #NetGalley
This is a wonderful find it book!!! Can you find Momo the dog in different places? This has real photographs and you try to find Momo and his friend!! I would recommend this to a classroom library or just to have around your house to have fun in finding something in pictures!!!
This is a great little board book for younger children, 2-5 years. The lay put is easy for little eyes to understand and to be able to find the searchable items. The photographs are colorful, fun, and crisp. Overall this is a great book for kids that are too young for Waldo but really want a search-and-find book.
Another fun book from Momo, his owner Andrew, and their newest buddy, Boo. Engaging, colourful pages for kids, with bright images and easy word associations. I always look forward to new releases from this dynamic duo (now trio)! Find Momo books are always hot-ticket items at the library!
This is a really sweet seek-and-find book for younger readers. I've read Andrew Knapp's other books about Momo, and the addition of Boo in this one is adorable. I will definitely be recommending this book to patrons!
Momo is back!! The youngest readers will have a ball (and a bandanna and an apple and a leash) finding Momo, his new friend Boo, and a variety of special objects in the great outdoors! Their adventures include fishing, canoeing, a picnic, a hike in the woods, and some camping. This sure-to-be-beloved board book arrives on May 25, 2021, Special thanks to Quirk Books for an e-galley of Let's Find Momo Outdoors!
