My 11 yr old son absolutely loved this book. He rates it 5 stars and has recommended it to all of his friends. We had the wonderful opportunity to talk with the author during an online author talk through the Bookish Society.

In this book, the many Mes of Meade Macon team up to try to save the Multiverse so all the many Mes can continue to exist on their own versions of Earth. You do need to read book 1 before jumping into this one, and you definitely will will be left wanting more stories of all the Mes. The Multiverse series is full of exciting twists and zany, quirky humor. Book 2 left my son wanting more stories of the Mes. Definitely a series full of fun, without the scary. Excellent addition to the world of Middle Grade fiction.

Enough About Me by SG Wilson is about the Mes forming into a team and working together instead of apart.

Will the Mes be able to fix the Rip?

Average Me
Average Me is back and ready to get his life back. Well, as back as one kid can be while being in Juvie. Average Me ends up going on a roller coaster of emotions as things just happen throughout the whole time that he is skipping to different Earths to fix things. He tries his best to figure things out, especially his fizz connection. What I like about Average Me is that he really is trying his hardest to be good so that he can not only get out of juvie but to be good with all the other Mes looking to him. Average Me tries to be just an average person, but he is anything but average, which he is learning about more in this installment.

The Mes
All of the Mes are back, especially with more Mes coming forward. We met at least four or five more Mes in various parts of the book. Besides Caveman Me, who we met at the end of the last book, he has more of a role in this one. Meticulous Me is still here and still being a pain in the butt. Sadly though, Meticulous Me is trying to fix what he started even if he doesn't know how to do that on his own just quite yet. The Mes we met in the last book are still there as well, and some are having fun while others not so much.

Five Stars
Enough About Me by SG Wilson is the second book in Me vs. the Multiverse, and who knows if it is the last one. Mr. Wilson has done a great job on this one as well. I like the way he created the different Earths, and still, everything about them is great. Especially the different Mes with their unique sayings. I love it a lot. Therefore, I am giving it five stars. And recommending it to everyone.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy from the author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Thank you for dropping by! I hope you enjoyed this review of Enough About Me by SG Wilson.

Until the next time,

I received an electronic ARC from Random House Children's Publishing through NetGalley.
Imagine worlds worth of yourself. The Me's return in book two. The story begins with Meade serving his sentence in Juvenile Hall. Though the other Me's committed the offenses, he is convicted of the crimes and is resigned to serve the sentence. Life changes quickly when a couple of the other Me's show up - Meticulous and Caveman. The action begins as they travel to other Earths to fix the Rip and save all of the worlds. Wilson keeps the action and humor going from the first chapter. The Me's are both stereotypes and realistic. At their base, they really are the same person as they each grow and develop on their home Earths. Together, they battle, disagree and finally work together to close the Rip and return home. Readers will connect with these characters from the start (even if they have not read the first book). They will be part of the action and have to make choices on who to trust along with the main characters.

This is a gun science fuction type story with characters that were also in Pleased to Meet Me. It is a good, lighthearted story kids will enjoy. As an adult, I didn't love it, but think reluctant readers will like it.

E ARC provided by Netgalley

Meade Macon and all of his alter egos are back after Pleased to Meet Me, where Meade learned how reality splits and new versions of him are created. His arch nemesis, Meticulous Me, is also back. Meade is currently in the County Youth Development Center because of the crime spree that the other Me's went on, but is approached Meticulous, who is on a mission and so conspires to get Meade out. Understandably wary, Meade reluctantly agrees to help when he discovers Meticulous' plan. There is a Rip in the universe that is threatening not only our world, but many others, and Meticulous has a repair he calls the Stitch that he thinks will help before the Rip makes all of the worlds like Earth Zero. The problem? Meade no longer has any "fizz", and None of Me is working against them and must be found. There are lots of complications, including running into Prez, who doesn't seem to be quite on their side, and encountering various versions of Twig and Nash. None of Me turns out to have a surprising identity, and the quest for the Stitch doesn't end there. The Rip is agitated, so even if the crew finds the Rip, they might not be able to use it. How will Meade and Meticulous be able to work together to repair the universe and get all of the various Me's back to their respective worlds?
Strengths: With the science fiction feel of Kirby's The Spell Robbers and the humor (and page decorations) of Seegert's Sci Fi Junior High, Enough About Me pits Meade not against an adult super villain but against... himself, or at least a version of himself. Sure, there are a few adults in the picture, like Meade's Dr. Who loving parents who program his MeMinder to do annoying things like identify good deeds, but this romp to save the world rests squarely in the sometimes slimy hands of the Me's. While saving the world is a serious business, there's lots of fun to be had along the way. It's good to see several of the more prominent Me's learning to work together, and of course, saving the universe is always a good plan.
Weaknesses: There are a LOT of Me's, and if I thought too hard about why they existed, my brain hurt.
What I really think: There should be more speculative fiction duologies. One book is not quite enough to completely develop a world and be a digestible size (200-300 pages), but two books of that size work quite well. This seems like Meade's story is wrapped up, so I will be interested to see what early morning jog inspired stories Wilson comes up with next.
