Wow, this book is unlike anything I've read before. What an incredible story. I hope there will be a sequel to find out what happened after their escape from Saudi Arabia.
This book will keep you on your toes and guessing how these two brave women escaped their past.

The synopsis of the story sucked me in, the concept in there. Unfortunately the story itself just fell flat for me. Maybe it's not the right time in my life to read this book; something this emotionally in depth I do believe you need to be in the right mind frame for. I tried, I really did try to get into this book but I just could not get myself to care. I wasn't excited to pick it up and read it the way I have been other stories. I'm hoping one day I'll return to it and I can update my review about how this just wasn't the right time for this book, only time will tell.

Can You Keep A Secret? by J.M. Doe is a captivating read about a mother’s love for her kidnapped young daughter. I could not stop reading this true tragic story. I hope there is a sequel. #CanYouKeepASecret #NetGalley

Can You Keep A Secret by J.M. Doe is a true account of a woman getting her daughter back from her ex-husband. The story has some great details about Saudi Arabia which I loved hearing. She travel to Saudi Arabia for work as a traveling nurse and ends up falling in love. They soon marry and return to the United States but their marriage eventually unravels. When her husband takes their daughter to Disneyland he never returned her back to her mom... instead of taking her back to Saudi Arabia with him. This begins the journey of getting her daughter back.

An absolutely amazing memoir of a woman marrying someone from different country and culture and losing her child to her husband. You were either cheering or commiserating with her throughout the book. I think people who marry into a different culture should definitely read her story. Truly fascinating

I've traveled the Muslim world extensively and know that what you see isn't always real. There are dark sides, but this can also be seen in other parts of the world. JM Doe portrays what can happen when two worlds collide and children are involved. If not for a determined mother who will never give up, the story could have a different ending. Fortunately, this author showed more sides of the KSA than most people ever see as non-Muslins are not normally allowed inside the country.
