A really cute easy read that was easy to get lost in. Perfect holiday read for lying by the pool or on the beach!

Ever After Always by Chloe Liese is a perfect fit for readers who adore lighthearted, emotional, and humorous second-chance romances that explore the ups and downs of marriage, family, and communication, and are looking for a heartwarming story about rekindling passion and making love last.

Chloe Liese wasted no time in becoming one of my all-time favourite authors. I knew this one was going to be a tough one for me because I'm not a huge fan of the marriage in crisis trope but I refuse to not read her books so.... here we are. Loved this even though I'm not surprised at all by that but it wasn't at the top of my list of books I love by her.

I thought that this was a really great story of two people finding their way back to each other. My issue is that I usually feel like there's a long way out of the ditch one of the characters (usually the dude) digs to get them to that point in their marriage where they feel it's do or die. I didn't hate either of them in this which made it more enjoyable for me but I really just don't connect with the trope like I do with others.

BUT WE LOVE CHLOE SO MUCH.

I absolutely love every single thing Chloe Liese writes and Ever After Always was one of her best yet. Freya and Aiden's story will stay with me for long after finishing.

Another fantastic romance in the Bergman series. I've loved every single one and can't wait for more!

I loved this book! One of the few romances that looks at two married people who really love each other, but the day to day business of living gets in the way. I loved his family, they love each other deeply and provided support.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed as in this review are completely my won

I have totally immersed myself into the world of the Bergman siblings and this book was exactly what I needed, it really showed the other side of a happy ever after where the couple have drifted apart, and communication has halted. There is still a lot of love between freya and Aidan so if they can only get the lines of communication open they can work together. I really felt for Aidan’s character, and I liked how his Anxiety was handled so openly and so raw, I honestly love the couples in this series.

Chloe Liese became my absolute favorite author about 3 chapters into her first book. The way she writes characters of all shapes, sizes, ethnicities, abilities, etc. is so inclusive and sensitive to the entirety of mankind.

Ever After Always was so refreshing! Love stories are always perfection and "happily ever after" but that is just not reality. It was oddly comforting to read about a couple struggling and fighting. It makes your own life feel a little more normal.

Tried reading this one and it just was not meant for me. This does not mean that it is not a good book, I just was not in the right place to be reading it and have decided to not try picking it up anytime in the near future.

Often times, romance novels only focus on the beginning of a relationship - the beauty of this book is that it focuses on what happens after the lights go down & real life begins. I was able to deeply connect with the benefits and downfalls of getting to love the same person for a decade. This book wasn't afraid to approach any and all topics (and ambitiously so) and it was all done with an extreme level of care & noticeable love. It was a great book and I now understand why Chloe Liese has such a loyal following.

Ever After Always is a marriage-in-crisis romance. I found the characters to be relatable and their struggles to be realistic. An enjoyable read and I look forward to reading more from this author.

As someone who has never been married, this seemed like a very true and valid portrayal marriage. So much so that at times it was painful to listen to.

For all of that, I felt like this was a love letter to marriages and married people and falling back in love with your partner. It was poignant and lovely.

But as an unmarried person I will--perhaps hypocritically say--I do enjoy the "falling in love" story more than "finding love in marriage again" story. And that's why I'm selfishly giving this a middle of the road rating.

BUT as a contrary person, I will say, I feel like I learned a lot reading this, and it was nice to see a love story AFTER the typical HEA that's about the struggles 10 years deep into a relationship rather than the giddiness of first love.

I absolutely loved this book! Didn’t realize it was a series going into it but now I’ve already started on the other books. I was at times confused with all the characters because of the large families but once I got over it I fell hard for this book. It’s a marriage in trouble romance with the right amount of steam and a bit of humor.

“We can’t possible hope to always live ‘happily’. But ‘ever after’? That we can hope for and choose. Because ‘ever after’ isn’t an idea. It’s a person—an imperfect person who’s perfect for you.” Her eyes search mine as she gives me one soft, tender kiss.
“You’re that person, for me. You’re my ever after.”

I bet you see that cover and say "ah, a romance book that looks good to read now." But in reality this book is much more than that!! Beyond the romance, this book and this story gave lessons on how to manage a good relationship, on personal growth and, also, everything you should expect from a healthy relationship. Here we have raw, real characters who weren't perfect, and that's okay, because this whole journey wasn't about being the perfect picture couple/family. In the end, for me, it was about being enough for yourself and those with whom we love.

The performance was amazing from my point of view, and Chloe's writing was engaging as always, keeping me hooked from start to finish.

I usually love second chance romances, but unfortunately this book didn't work for me for multiple reasons. The biggest reason for me was the writing. The dialogue felt stilted and inorganic, which kept taking me out of the story. There are so many characters in this book, so distinguishing between them was key. The problem, though, was that so many of them talked in exactly the same way, which made it confusing to do that. For me, romance books live and die by their dialogue, and sadly I thought the dialogue in this book was lacking. I liked the angst and the depth of the bond between Aiden and Freya, but ultimately I just didn't enjoy this one. :(

I sat on this review for a while because I didn't know what to say if I'm honest. I really like Chloe Liese's writing style and I loved Ren and Frankie's book, but this one fell flat for me. I tried it and ended up stopping reading it because I was bored and then I came back to it at a later date. However, it still didn't work for me on that occasion and I ended up DNFing it. I think this is partly because it is a second chance romance.

However, just because I wasn't too keen don't be put off- it is well written and I like that the stories all follow the same family. I'll certainly be reading Liese's next book which is due out in September.

I cried, I laughed and aI enjoyed every bit of the book.

The talk that every marriage has it up and down and sometimes trying to protect the person form getting hurt you end up hurting them .

One having rough childhood, anxiety the others need to express emotions , reading this was an experience.

This was an easy fun read but i enjoyed it a bit less than its predecessors. However, I'm still dying to read the next book and read more about the Bergman's!!

Chloe Liese as done it again! This is the third installment of the “Bergman Family” - I couldn’t wait to read about the amazing older sister of the Brothers! The writing style and subjects Chloe hits on are so amazing! You won’t be disappointed

Another addition to my favorite series and I loved this book a lot. I loved all the characters and storylines. It was nice to see the couples from the previous books as well.
